D60. I'm back again after being out of town for six days. The tent was packed when I opened it! The girls had stretched more, and a couple of leaves were even touching the lights and had gotten burnt. They are now 125 cm tall. That's five times the height they were when I flipped to flower. Five times!!! I have never had a strain stretch this much, and I hope they are done now since there's no more room in the tent. I removed the fan and carbon filer and placed them outside the tent. It looks a bit stupid and is far from stealthy, but what to do? I moved up the lights as far as possible, but I will probably switch the lights with the one I have in my autotent. That light has a much lower profile, so raising it even further is possible. Should that not be enough, I will have to cut off some tops, but I hope it doesn't come to that. The first girl already has dark purple flowers, while the second looks more green with some purple. ------------------------------ D61. I opened the tent today, only to find that the second girl had stretched another 2 cm overnight! This is getting ridiculous, and I hope they stop soon. I super-cropped the tallest top, hoping it would slow down the stretch. A few hours later, she had already recovered. These genetics are nuts! In other news, my girlfriend found spider mites on her papaya plants that are in the same room as my tents. We immediately removed the plants from the room, and I started to scout my plants for an infestation. The good news is that I didn't find any spider mites. However, the bad news is that I found thrips on the lower leaves of the second girl. Ugh! I had thrips last grow season, and I guess some survived. The thrips were only on the lower part of the plant, so I defoliated the girls by removing a bunch of leaves and tiny branches down low and immediately threw them out of the apartment. Thrips don't like it humid, and since the buds are still tiny, I don't need to worry about botrytis yet, so I cranked up the humidity into the high 70s to low 80s. Finally, I ordered a bunch of lacewing larvae that will get here next week. They should eat the thrips and any spider mites that I might not have been able to find. ------------------------------ D63. The girls have slowed their stretch, BUT they are still stretching somewhat. I freaked out when I opened the tent today and saw they were taller, so I attacked them immediately and super-cropped the highest tops. I will switch out the lights next week, gaining me another few centimeters, which I hope will be enough. The VPD in the tent is way off, but I'm more interested in figuring out the light and getting rid of the thrips. Finally, I watered each girl with 2.5 liters of water L pH 6.1, with 10 ml humic acid and 5 ml Fermented Fruit Juice I made a few months ago. ------------------------------

11/12/21: Official First flower week. Added in Big Bud Nutrients and they appear to have changed over night... lots of light green bud sites... some are even showing stigmas and white pistils... still a slight issue with the heat... but as it is near a large glass window and the size of the tent a heat mat is the best i can do. other than that the plants are looking very healthy and strong and will not be long until they are in full bloom.

Day 141 of life and 56 of flower. This girl had hard times and i think to make it even harder. From now on i will raise my ph to 7.0 for rest of her life. Hope to keep her for two more weeks and stab her on the last day before 3 night sleep and chop later. She has a bit amber, hope i still have time , i keep an eye on her every day. Thats all plans left, want to split stemp and put wood stick in that wound. I know it would be smarter to make with next diary and compare with unmade, but ... I want to try this out , first date will be short, later i will increase time to a week before chop if it works like i think and many people tell.. Happy growing ! Day 142. All is good ! Day 145. Girl is fine, green fading slowly. But .. She is skunk, she stinks like skunk, while smoke you feel it a lot plus a small aftertaste, maybe its strawberries, but cant tell for now. Anyway - i like her, just her real genetic name is a mystery a bit ;) While she was flowering, on week 3 you could smell strawberries, but now i am lost in that taste ... Bag seed, you never know what it will be ... Watered today still with 6.5, thinking to give her last two waterings and chop her next thursday or so ...

This week, I noticed an excess of nutrients, and one of the plants has its leaves curling up. So, I decided to stop adding nutrients, hoping this will help and don't stress the other two. But she's strong and has just a few more days left before harvest i think.

She had some damaged leaves, looking like mud but i think she just got burned a bit. I removed the damaged leaves and Hope she'll recover fast🍁

********Week 9 Vegetation- Sept 12 to 18, 2020******* This will be the last veg week. Flipped to flower cycle at the end of the week:) These girls are pushing out branch Baby!!!! Getting long and keeping them tied down for now. They want to flower and almost aren’t waiting for the lights to switch😃 LST this week on these girls. Getting them ready to put in a SCROG I think. Pull them down for now to start pulling them wider and make it easier to fill in the canopy’s net. Actually, they were only tied down for this week. At the end of the week I removed the ties. There were 4 feed days this week and Advanced Nutrients Bud Ignitor was introduced this week.......getting ready for flower👍 Switch to Bloom nutes next week. Going to finish these girls with Advance Nutrients line this run. I may have to use a supplemental from Green Planet to get through to harvest. This lines bottles are getting closer to a year and a half old now........use em uip👌😃 Not buying more Bud Factor X for example (still have a couple of syringes worth) but rather will add Terpinator and Rezin instead. Little more detail: Sept 12/20 - CalMag @ 2ml, VeloKelp, Vitrathrive @ 1.5ml, AN Sensi Grow A&B @ 1ml - 610ppm and 5.9pH - Each girl given 2L - Pulled out and cleaned up to get ready for netting - Canopy height fairly even today.....little more time to fill in though. Sept 14/20 - Giving them a hearty feeding today with lots of ml’s to rinse off the roots a little more - Sensi CalMag @ 2ml, B52, Microbial Mass @ 1.5ml, Sensi Grow @ 1ml - 880ppm and 5.4pH - Each girl given 4L and they had a nice amount of runoff - maybe 30% this time. Sept 15/20 - Add some sweetener to feed the microbes today,. - Sensi CalMag @ 2ml, Bud Candy, B52 @ 1.5ml - 625ppm and 5.2pH - 2L each for the girls - Leaf colour is a little light so getting the Magnesium up and Nitrogen......that’s why using the heigh nitrogen Advance Nutrients Cal Mag. - pH is a little low but I am cool with it and working on not letting the pH drift too much yet in their run. - They are ready.........they want to flower😃 Sept 17/20 - Bud Ignitor introduced today as we get ready for Flower phase next week. - Sensi CalMag, Sensi Grow A&B, Bud Ignitor, all @ 1ml/L - 485 ppm and 5.7pH - Each girl given 2L - Swtich the light cycle tonight to 12/12 and get the party started👊👍 That takes us to the end of Veg for these two girls. This is her final week. Since last week, I've only used Canna Flush once, followed by pH 5.8 water. It's clearly visible that the leaves are much greener now, which is surprising. This suggests the plant experienced nutrient lockout while I mistakenly thought the issue was pH related. I'm continually learning from this run!

It was harvested slowly. First up bud and 3-4 days later down bud harvested. Very nice harvested

The cheese looks ready, all pistils have changed.. but she's small. Pistils are changing on the rest (45-55% white), will be trying to use this microscope more to check the trichs but I struggle to get them in focus 😟 Going to start reducing the MC starting tomorrow, roughly 2 weeks left, will flush with ph'd water for the last 2-3 waterings. These girls are sticky, sweet, fattening up and looking really nice Stay high, and stay tuned 😁

previous watering was fed with nutrients this is one with the highest EC of the three that are in the tent, and my temperature is not low so it should go with minimum to medium quotas with more water avoiding burns without much runoff taking place mixing with the soil compounds and mycorrhizae for better performance i know i need calcium magnesium for better performance the problem is money i will continue to use salt Epson the option i have at the moment the direct sulfur in the soil mix has helped me hear a change visible. water ph 6.2 solution temperature 20 ° - 0.50 g of great white mycorrhiza 2 days earlier were sprayed with water without ppm via leaves - lights off to serve as a cooling shower in the heat is great for stomata . Simple led panel added as main light source 260watts being divided to 3 plants in the fullspectro tent model, did not get much difference in temperatures compared to HPS, is more the same spectro ratio and UV to reach more directly in the trichomes and terpenes. this amnesia is not as fast as your sister but from the stress she had back in the beginning, I admire her strength with thinner sativa leaves her trichomes are coming close to the smaller leaves. Didn't have someone to come water the plants. 5 days away. Plants dried right out. Defoliated both and fed and watered. We will see what happens. Plant one has mostly orange hairs. Plant two is on the whiter side. Buds are still filling in. I have definitely learned that I need to move on to a more automated system for my lifestyle. Gonna try to make the best of the next few weeks and watch the trichomes turn. Day 66-67 flushed soil with pH water

Hello fellow grower Starting directly under the Mars Hydro FC6500, seedlings are doing very well (see inputs for distance). The dimming is at maximum power. The light footprint might be a bit oversized for only 20 cups. Technically, for a commercial crop you can stick 1.2 sq. meter of seedlings without any problems. _________________________________________________ Barney’s Farm seeds are as usual, very vigorous ! All the seeds germinated in 24h to 48h.
