JUST LOOK AT IT! a little short, but i think thats my fault from around the day 21ish mark if ya look back in the diary. i told myself i wasnt going to run any more autos, unless it was some odd occasion. but IF i do in the future... it WILL be FastBuds. unless this pink runtz i have ends up being an auto, and if it is.. im going to off the fucker lol. Day 56- GC is trying to catch up. I think stabbing the main helped a lil lol. Few random plucks on WG tonight, and don't even want to start on GC for now. May clean it up a bit later depending on how the back feels. It's got a ton of branches that are going to be too close REAL soon. Kinda f'd GC off over a week ago, and said I'd run it again in the future to make up for it. So not too pressed on how it looks, as long as it stays alive until WG chopping day. Atleast it wasn't a male 🤣. Anyway, bumped the girls up to the "aggressive" mid bloom GHE feed. Using TAP water to reduce the amount of calmag needed since mine has N in it.. Breakdown as follows: 5gal TAP water - 137ppm 15mL calmag - up to 252ppm 10mL hydroguard Micro- 33mL Grow- 33mL Bloom- 47.5mL RES total after PH correction - 818 @ 5.91. ============================================================================================= Day 57- I REALLY need to cut back GC... like yesterday... backs been hurting something fierce, and I'm out of my medicine of choice ATM. few random plucks on WG today. may make my way in there again later and start hacking away at GC. will update pic if I do. They're both liking aggressive feed, maybe a touch too heavy on the N though. *edit* 🎶oops, i, stabbed it again...🎶 lol. still feel there's a branch that's gotta go. Started pulling WG out some to help expose lowers. Need more garden wire for sure ============================================================================================= Day 58- cut back GC even more.. we'll keep it alive, but I'll make sure it doesn't block the beloved WG. remember, there will be a list of things I learned I did WRONG in this experiment and will share at the conclusion. Trimmed up WG little bit later in their morning. Top view pic is after the small defol. Some fans only had the middle finger snipped, to be on the safe side. Progress seems slow on WG atm, but it's getting ready to fatten up and mature. ============================================================================================= Day 59- i just cut back GC AGAIN!!! like HALF of its branches, and cut all the tops to the same length before snapping todays pic. after comparing 58 to 59's pic... it STILL looks like it grew.. WTF... that things confused ASF or something... just dont herm on me... WG finish is right around the corner.. a few weeks... hang in there GC... hang in there... ive been topping off with 80% strength nutes and RO water, and the EC has remained pretty consistent. may bump em up one more time for WG next week to help fatten her up some. right before we dial it all back for the end. WG already looking pretty frosty, and the weatherman is predicting some more in the next weeks. *edit* added a night vid to show my WG defol struggles. Its easier to see why the foliage looks so thick and it needs a trim when lights on when you see lights off.. We're down to a few fans towards the bottom to help out down there. Rest are connected to bud sites, and are limited. May need to add a small fan blowing up WG skirt soon. ============================================================================================= Day 61- nothing really to report. tried to kill the ice probe, and put frozen 1L bottle (in 12hr rotations) to see how it performed. i think 61.2 is a little too cold for my liking, and one morning i woke the temp was over 71.. the roots are messing with the flow and the water isnt getting chilled as much with the probe. problem ive been facing for the last week or so. ice probe back in, and warming up the tent with its exhaust again.. should fab up a duct system for a 3d printer... ideas... tinkercad here we go.. ============================================================================================= Day 62- kinda feel bad for leaving GC out of the shot yesterday. Since she's riding along in this experiment... added her back today. WG is starting to phase 2. Her finish is coming within the next 2-3 weeks I'm guessing. Maybe 4? A really explosive week of growth. I pushed PPFD up to 310umols. Dimmers are at 60% which is drawing 224w plus 18w of DRRB. I have alos started Emerson effect ... Another The Emerson effect is triggered by the simultaneous exposure of plants to light in the deep red and far-red spectra Deep Red 660 nm /Far-Red 700 nm . A bit of boring science that explains why you need both far red and deep red in order to trigger Emerson. The effect occurs because photosynthesis is driven by two distinct pigment systems working in series:Photosystem II (PSII): Absorbs energy most efficiently at shorter wavelengths (higher frequencies), like 680 nm (441 THz). Photosystem I (PSI): Absorbs energy most efficiently at longer wavelengths (lower frequencies), specifically 700 nm (428 THz). When you provide only the higher frequency (deep red), PSI becomes a bottleneck. When you provide only the lower frequency (far-red), PSII is not sufficiently excited to provide electrons. Providing both frequencies simultaneously allows both systems to work at peak efficiency, resulting in a rate of photosynthesis that is greater than the sum of the two lights used individually. To understand the Emerson Effect, think of photosynthesis not as a single engine, but as a two-stage assembly line. What is the Emerson Effect? Discovered by Robert Emerson in 1957, this phenomenon shows that plants perform photosynthesis much more efficiently when they are hit by two specific types of light at the same time: Deep Red (660 nm) and Far-Red (700+ nm). If you give a plant only Far-Red light, photosynthesis is very slow. If you give it only Deep Red, it's better but still limited. However, when you give it both at once, the total rate of photosynthesis is significantly higher than if you just added the two results together (1+1=3). What is Happening? (The "Assembly Line") Inside the plant's chloroplasts, there are two "workstations" called Photosystem II (PSII) and Photosystem I (PSI). They work in series, meaning the first one must pass "parts" to the second one. PSII (The First Station): This station is tuned to catch Deep Red light (660 nm). It harvests electrons from water. PSI (The Second Station): This station is tuned to catch Far-Red light (700 nm). It takes the electrons from the first station and uses them to create energy (ATP and NADPH). The Problem: If you only provide Deep Red light, the first station works fast, but the second station can't keep up because it isn't being "powered" efficiently by that specific frequency. This creates a traffic jam of electrons. The Solution: By adding Far-Red light, you power up the second station. It now "pulls" the electrons from the first station much faster, clearing the traffic jam and making the whole assembly line run at full speed. The Benefits for The Grow.. Because i am using the Biotabs water-only method, my plants already have a steady supply of organic nutrients. Implementing the Emerson Effect offers several distinct advantages: Increased Biomass: Because the "engine" is running faster, the plant produces more sugars and carbohydrates, leading to heavier fruits or flowers. Faster Finishing: Plants often reach maturity sooner because they have more surplus energy to complete their life cycle. Better Light Penetration: Far-Red light is very good at passing through the upper leaves. This "wakes up" the lower parts of the plant that would otherwise be shaded, allowing the whole plant to contribute to growth. Enhanced Secondary Metabolites: In many crops, this synergistic light can stimulate the production of terpenes and antioxidants, improving the "quality" (smell, taste, and potency) of the final harvest. The "Sunrise/Sunset" Trick I am using 4x Invisible sun Far red/Deep red bars,they use high-quality Samsung LH351H (660nm Deep Red) and specific Far-Red (730nm) diodes for 10–15 minutes at the start or end of the light cycle. This mimics the natural shift in light at sunrise and sunset, "waking up" the photosystems or signaling the plant to go into "sleep mode" faster, which can further optimize the flowering cycle. Enviromentally i am chasing a VPD of about 1,1kpa. My room seem to sit nicely at lights on at 24c with no real drama and a little help from a 220W greenhouse bar radiator. Its using abot 4kw/h a day atm because my room is attached to the side of my house and its been -5c.. I have had to add some humidity as its also very dry atm. Im aiming for RH of 65% with my 24c but it is more around the 62s.. VPD is crucial and is the focus for this grow for me. The autopots and Biotabs make it so easy ican really just focus on perfect enviroment. A VPD of 1.0–1.2 kPa provides enough "atmospheric pull" to move calcium and magnesium up from the roots, which is critical for the rapid cell division happening now.. Plants will be flipped on Saturday which is their week 5 as im a bit behind.. As this happens i will push PPFD upto 4-500umols. by week 2 of flower. Thats the plan anyway..

Soo week 2 girls seem to be doing good ! Been faffing around with temps and humidity as struggling to get a stable reading for both especially with the weather getting more hot! But will keep trying to get this spot on l. Will be re potting The zkittles this week I reckon ! Update : With the addition of the RAM 5L humidifier the plants are loving it and the temperature + humidity is very stable and normally reads between 50 and 60 during the day and 40-50 when lights are off following this with the the temperature during day between 27 and 29 when lights are off stays between 20 and 23 I made some adjustments such as going down to 400 watt on my ballast and it works well when it’s like an oven outside so quite happy with these readings as before my temp was over 30 and humidity would not get past 35! Week 3 slowly commences where the nutes will be introduced I have opted for plant magic ! Price was reasonable and after reading reviews it does bring results , I didn’t fancy spending too much on nutes as I’ve spent a load on everything else haha but hey we shall see how it goes Happy growing 😜🤩

Este post es el de cosecha, pero voy a hacer el Harvest cuando tenga procesadas las fotos de cogollos secos y haya hecho una buena cata. Estas dos mangos fueron preciosas de cultivar. Cogieron un tono azulado y algunos petalos se volvieron de un color rosa muy fuerte. No fue dificil de cultivar aunque la empezara en octubre, tuvo la visita de algunas orugas pero no causaron casi ningun daño. -Empecé el cultivo en octubre, lo que hizo que mis plantas no llegaran a la altura deseada, no tubieron todo el sol que necesitavan y se espigaron. Les hice un corte FIM a una planta y apical a la otra, lo cual hizo que las puntas desarrollaran una forma curiosa. This post is the harvest one, but I'm going to do the Harvest week when I have processed all the photos of dried buds and made a good tasting. -These mangos are amazingly gorgeous. They took a bluish tone and some petals turned a very strong pink color. It was not difficult to grow considering that I planted it a little late, I only had the visit of some caterpillars. There are some pics of one of them. -I started cultivation in October, which caused my plants not to reach the desired height, they did not have all the sun they needed and they sprouted. I made a FIM cut to one plant and apical to the other, which caused the tips to develop a curious shape. Thanks to you all for the support!

Week 6 marks the exciting flowering stage for ztraberrizzzz I've been using Low-Stress Training (LST) techniques, gently bending branches down and securing them with soft ties to create an even canopy. This promotes lateral growth and allows lower buds to thrive. I've also practiced careful defoliation, removing larger fan leaves to improve airflow and light penetration to the budding sites. Monitoring their response is key, and I love seeing the plants adapt and grow stronger. Sticking to the Canne Terra feeding schedule has yielded great results—thick stems, lush foliage, and a delightful sweet aroma emerging. I’m eager to see the buds develop in the coming weeks. Hello growers !! Another week here in cultivation. This past week I noticed that the flowers have grown new pistils, which means that it will take a few more weeks for the harvest. This week I acquired a microscope to see the trichomes and I saw that most are milky and transparent. I want to harvest with 30% amber, I believe 2 or 3 more weeks. In this final stretch the anxiety increases, but I am happy with the results and I will take it to the end to have the best smoke! 😜

D54 - She is growing just fine. However it is a bit slower than my previous growth, and I think that this strain might grow a bit slower. I keep plucking one pair of stems and leaving the next one. I also LST new growing stems. Beast - Cats are rally attracted to this plant and mine is always asking for it.

16/03/26 - 22/03/26: not much to do right now other than filling up the tanks and observing the trichomes. See pictures :) The two blueberries are close to harvest, Chicken n' Wafflez and Vanilla Créme Pie still have a couple weeks ahead of them. Thanks for checking in and see you next week!

Long time no post! I’ve been lazy about it, my bad. I’ll try and catch up before harvest in a week!! All going excellent, think I had a calmag issue early on because of how big these ladies got but they are finishing very strong! No issues with heat or humidity, all pretty controlled this time!!

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days.
