Woche 7: Die zweite Woche der Blütephase ging es der Blattmasse erstmal an den Kragen damit die Blüten auch etwas an Licht abbekommen 😅 Anfangs dachte ich, dass ich vielleicht etwas viel weggeneommen habe. Aber im Nachhinein hätte ich den unteren Bereich der Pflanzen deutlich radikaler Entlauben können. Ich war etwas zaghaft 😅 Ansonsten habe ich weiterhin versucht die große Skywalker zumindest etwas unter Kontrolle zu bringen.. Aber da sie fast doppelt so groß wie ihre Schwestern ist, bin ich schon in Planung einer zweiten Growbox. In dieser kann sie sich wenn es soweit ist ganz alleine austoben.. doch etwas muss sie sich noch gedulden.

Dec 28 - Both plants are close to harvest. Had 5.5. hours of darkness after 24 hr period to prevent budrot developing. Also moved plants inside tent moreso, and closer to fans. Dec 28 - Watered healthy plant today at 2PM - I'll chop unhealthy plant tomorrow, so didn't water, instead inspected trichomes. Dec 28 - Unhealthy Plant is showing amber trichomes, but also clear - Unsure if I should chop tomorrow or not. Dec 29 - DAY 73 - CHOPPED - Trimmed larger fan leaves (accidentally trimmed a sugar leaf or two) and harvested to dry whole, upside down. I'm hoping for a half ounce per plant. Dec 19 - 11.50PM Trichome Calyx' were observed, there are new calyx' appearing. Calyx' are swelling. Dec 30 - Plant developing more senescence and calyx are swelling. Dec 30 - Trichomes are still clear, but I'm seeing some PM develop so I think I'll chop tomorrow morning. Dec 31 - Nice Senescence occurring, Happy to have left it this last day. Accidentally left temps up to 78F for a half hour. Dec 31 - Decided to push another week as per feedback from GD member. When watering I noticed she was perky after 3 days w. no water. Interesting and likely the frequency I'll continue watering at. Dec 31 - Watered at 9PM. Jan 1 - Removed small fan leaf with signs of PM at the base. This defoliation should help with airflow. Checked newly formed calyx' and they're clear enough not to document. Jan 2 - Buds are developing nicely, calyxes are noticably swelling nicely too. I see some green pistils appearing in the lowest buds. Clear Trichomes. Jan 3 - Watered at 8AM. Woke up to 90F temp. Unfortunately they'd been cooking for about an hour. Jan 3 - DRYING UPDATE - I'm seeing fluctuations in the drying room between RH 49% and 70%. As of 3.10PM @ 61RH after adding jars of water. I want to maintain this RH. Jan 3 - Senesence looking good, calyx' are continuing to swell. Will inspect trichomes tomorrow at latest.

Flowering day 7 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The flowering started last week because otherwise the space in the small tent would end up being too narrow :-) Cuttings were taken from each phenotype beforehand. To change the flower, I rinsed it very lightly with clean fruits. With the next watering she gets a mix of grow liquid and bloom liquid before she only gets bloom. Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

This week I will maintain the same techniques from previous week. Noticed that main leafs got bigger during the weekend, both plant look healthy and happy and are now looking wider. Also to note that I have been rotating the vases so they catch light in different positions/sides. It does not replace the real sun movement however it will stimulate the growth in different parts of the plant. Hopefull by the end of this week we will have a new set of baby leafs.

In the final week of flowering, I reduced the light cycle to 11 hours and dimmed the lamp to 80% to keep temperatures lower. The light hits the plant with approximately 900 PPFD. The plants are being dried on the stem at around 21°C (70°F) and 60% relative humidity.

SO this is my second grow of this strain, this plant shared a 120x120 tent with another Magic Melon and 2 Gorilla Cookies from Fast Buds (Amazing Strain) Very happy with large feedings, and now that she is alone in the tent, I can publish some good information about this strain as other diaries for this strain do not seem to do it justice. From previous grow, which was summer here so 40 degree C days, was growing at around 33C and obviously feeding it around 2.5 litres a day - but she did it and the smoke was great, this time around since the temps are in the normal ranges, Im hoping for less terpene loss and a much better smoke, great strain from HUMBOLDT - Im guessing this harvest will be in the 150 g Dry Weight Range, the previous 2 I grew in Summer at those very high temps yielded 220g between them.

Last week for this beautiful lady from super sativa seeds club. We still have some other plants to cut but personally i think that this one is the most beautiful from all, she got some really nice colours during the flowering stages and a very nice smell, like ginger and other spices the flowering was also quite quick as in around 7 weeks they are more or less ready (depending on the phenotype) Only water now!

Yeahhh...last week for them. I can't wait anymore. Facing the possibility to move to another house I'll have to finish the process earlier than I was wishing but far late that I first tough in how long it could take to harvest. Last two weeks they are showing a few signs in their trichomes (Dwarf 100% white with a few getting gold colour - N.Lights 80% white, a few gold spots) but I'm running out time. About my two Jacks, they are still drying in a homemade amazon cupboard dryer box (not happy with that but no other alternative) and when it be ready I'll let here my opnion.

here we are guys in the middle of week 8. the grow has been pretty good lately, just messed up some refilling but corrected immediately. as you can see from the pictures i did some mild defoliation to expose the lower buds. what do you guys think? to be honest I am pretty proud of the grow the girl looks beautiful. I am thinking about getting a 600w led and probably a bigger tent (100x100x200, 3"x3"x6") as always guys, advices are always welcomed keep growing 👍
