Another week another part of progress, wedding gelato is doing great, the shape is how I want it and now she just needs to put on weight. All going as planned, super happy with the living soil from Sonnenerde like always !

Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 179 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I'm really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I've gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I'm incredibly proud of my first results! Left out week. She grew insanely this two weeks. She have 4-5 weeks to go.

Stretching has officially stopped as I haven’t seen any vertical growth the past few days, so all growth must be going into buds therefore I did some super cropping to even out the canopy. I have some yellow marks on the leaves which I’m guessing it’s a nitrogen deficiency due to giving the girls only 700PPM throughout flower, I’m happy with the growth although I think the trichomes are less sticky compared to my last grow, I can only blame myself as I should have given her 1100PPM from Day 1 of flower. Overall though there are bud sites everywhere, so many that I decided to buy a new light as I don’t think these buds will fulfil their full potential with mars hydro, with this new light my tent light spread is completely even so I have high hopes for this grow. Some other phenos are purple at this stage so I will most definitely be buying more runtz muffin seeds until I find the purple pheno that I can clone. Still currently feeding the girls 2 litres in the morning and 2 litres before the lights turn off. Considering adding molasses as a third feeding depending on how the growth goes.

Week 3 Flower: I started with 10ml/500ml of BioTabs Bud Booster once a week. I put another Trellis on top and continued to bend the stems. Some Buds starting to form :). It doesnt smell yet, only if u touch it. Then its quite sticky and stinky (in a good way). Still stretching a bit, but it didnt stretch as much as i thought it would (and as people told me). Week 3 Day 4: Very moist weather outside, the tent is in the sleeping room, average humidity inside the tent is 58% atm. A bit too high. Outside tent ~70% - way too high, hope its getting dryer soon. Week 3 Day 5: Conditions normalizing. average humidity now around 45%. Week 3 Day 6: Im wondering how low I should start cutting the smaller, lower Popcornbuds, any ideas? - Removed some Popcorn buds/leaves from the lower parts of the plant.

Last 6-7 days were quite warm down here, plants were drinking more water than usual but they also grew more Pre-flowering barbs are visible in all of them (better details on previous week photos Plant 1 = 125cm / 49 inches (!), +20cm / +8" from last week Plant 2 = 120cm / 47 inches (!), +20cm / +8" from last week Plant 3 = 100cm / 39 inches (!), +12cm / +4.7" from last week

Day 80, 22nd of October 2020: 3rd week of flowering! Happiness she needs a lot of boost hard to keep up. She loves fertilization too much..... I mean before always craving for nitrogen now qould need more potassium and phosphorus hard to keep up. I also detect deficiency based on the leaves getting lighter and brown spots but I do feed her as much as I can really. This week i have relised the first nice trichomes started "sitting" on the leaves as well and the pistils coming out nicely pre flowers forming. Let's go.

This week, I adjusted the duration of the daylight hours.

The plant has clearly reached its final stage of flowering. Bud development is complete and the structure looks fully finished. Trichome coverage is extremely dense across buds and sugar leaves, giving the flowers a heavy, frosty appearance. The pink and purple coloration has continued to spread further down the plant, creating a very appealing contrast and confirming full genetic expression. Aroma has intensified significantly and is now strongly dominated by a sweet, ripe apricot / marmalade note with no harsh or green undertones. Flushing has been initiated this week, with harvest planned in approximately four days. Overall plant health remains solid, and no further swelling is expected. Focus is now on preserving terpene profile and optimal ripeness.

They’re getting close! I could probably chop the GSC and GC but the Gelato has at least 2 weeks to go. I was hoping to bring them all down at once and dry in the tent but I may have to figure something else out. I think this is the most aesthetically pleasing garden ive grown so far. I enjoy all manner of plants and in general the GC is the nicest looking mj plant I’ve ever produced. I’d love a porch full just for the look! Anyways, all these girls are a little stunted from all the cold nights. Dark temps under 60, a lot under 50-55 for most of their lives but they look good, and still very frosty. Week just starting off and the one baby has still not broken thru so I take matters into my own hands and attempt emergency surgery!!! I sanitized a Raw loader stick and gently pulled the sprout up. It laid over after and I'm going to give it a few hours before I try to put something to hold it up if it doesn't manage to orient properly. Any advice would be appreciated, This week just started so will edit it throughout the week.. 11/18 Transplanted into 1ga pots and gave first n00tz FF 3tsp/GA Big Bloom. 11/19 Ok so my humidy has been plumiting to 33-36% so I tried putting a rag over a fan, putting a rag in a bowl over the inlet and nothing helped so I went to amazon and bought this! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08GQZDS9J It has a gallon or so tank and a humidity sensor so it cycles to maintain humidity. 11/20 Anyways humidifier shows up today and I kicked it up to 80% and its about 70% after 4 hours.. I did rearrange grow tent to allow me to set up a camera to capture time lapse of the process and I had to get some power to it so it doesn't cut off when the lights go out hehe. I mean all is well I guess, I'm still concerned bout my little plants and the one with the crooked stem. Although I'm thinking the more I keep hands off right now the better chance they'll have! Wish me (and my babies) luck! 11/24 So everything looks smooth, today I uploaded a time lapse of the last couple days which if you speed thru it can see movement of the plants which is cool, but I'm stressing that my 3 way meter isn't correct. Its reading like 6-7 on moisture scale after about 7 days of being on the same water/feeding. I am anxious to water again but don't want to overwater...I mean I do feel some moistness if I press down on the soil. I'm quickly learning this is a great means to work on your patience!!! Oh and I'm rapidly losing hope for the bent girl, so sad.

It was a fatigue collecting them, really so much grass as I didn't see it from a while. The most beautiful plant in my opinion, 16 peaks is worked that are all beautiful lined, and big for really. The amount of resin is more than satisfactory and the flowers are very large looks here an outdoor is really a show, I brought it to the yellow leaves because it had a lot of white hair and I preferred to make it mature right. Daltrone 8 weeks are a time as declared and perfect. Really beautiful. The second plant I say that I like less but only because I left two side branches under the main lining that sucked power in the center, result? Twin large lateral twins really like outdoor and very long and full super and a very dignified center. I prefer the other but even this doesn't joke. I believe that it soon redo it in the meantime it is in the drying room and left a lot of trichomes on the pavement, I thought that the cock cleans before putting the grass to dry instead it was resin. Sorry for the long break, I was in the hospital and couldn't do anything, so I skipped a week. 😏😅 This is the first time I have used a different brand of fertilizer for these plants, Madame Grow from the USA. I'm curious how it works and what the result looks like otherwise ALWAYS Biobizz, of which I also use the All Mix!👌 I am going to top the 3 feminized plants again today because of the size 😁🤔 The automatic is already full but I am almost sure that I planted it too early 😁🤔it is my first automatic 😁🤣 We'll see, my balcony project remains exciting!
