SATURDAY 8/11: It's late Friday night..early Saturday morning..might as well start week 8! All systems are 'GO', and it's looking like I'm about 10-14 days away from starting the flush on WW#1 and maybe EM#1. I'm salivating 😍 I just gotta get these temperatures down a bit more.. SUNDAY 8/12: Yesterday I ordered a couple of 15.0 UVB 26w CFL bulbs to suspend over the girls that are the closest to finished..try to get them to ooze some more THC for me. Today I started germinating 7 more White White Autos from CKS and 4 more Candy Cane Autos from CKS. They will also be planted in 5gal fabric pots. They will be grown in the veg tent and moved into the main tent as space becomes available. The current crop will be harvested in waves, so I'll just employ stools for the new arrivals until everybody's been harvested from the current crop and I can lower the light again. MONDAY: I'm really starting to see the effects of the heat stress from this past week. So many dead or dying leaves. Temperatures are staying below 90 at the canopy and closer to 80 at the floor during the day..varying between 83 and 87 for most of the day and climbing to about 89 by sunset. It drops to 78-80 for 5 hours of nighttime. That's a shitload better than the mid to high 90's of last week, but the damage, I'm afraid, has been done.😢 EM#1 and WW#1 aren't gonna have enough vegetation left to do much else and I want to trim away the necrotic shit before it reaches the sugary stuff. There might be enough lower leaves left alive that I can just harvest the main colas and let the lower regions be for another week of swelling and flushing, but if not, they will get one more dose of tiger bloom and cha ching in 2 days, then two days later I will flush them really well and trim off all the dead shit. Let them dry for another day or two and flush them one more time really well and put them in the dark for a day before harvesting. EM#2 still has a good bit of green in her big fan leaves and will probably perk up and show me some more bud development.🙏 EM#3 hates anything above 85 degrees, so I'll probably never make her happy..😟 WW#2 and EM#4 don't seem to have been bothered by the heat near as much.👍 CC#1 and CC#2 don't like the heat at all..but they are killer dwarves and will pull through just fine.👌 I mixed up 7 gallons of ph'd water with calmag, bud candy, big bloom (no nitrogen), and a very heavy dose of boomerang and douched everybody really well. TUESDAY: The crispy girls got a big haircut today. I cut away most of the necrotic stuff on EM#1, EM#2, and WW#1. Buds should stay pretty for another few days...and wow are they pretty! The 3 plants still have enough foliage that I've decided to let them bask under the UVB lights for a day or two between flushes...see if I can't get them to ooze a little more of the good stuff. I moved them into the areas in the garden with less PAR..mainly 660nm reds and the UVBs. I also raised the lights about 2 inches. Pretty sure that EM#4 and WW#2 are within a week of finishing as well. So far, I have 3 new WW and 2 new CC sprouts planted. One WW has emerged thus far. She shall be called "WW#3" unless she earns a nickname. New photos and video clips were taken today. WEDNESDAY: I had a 100% germination success rate with the 7 new WW's and 4 new CC's! They all got planted today, but I ran out of soil (still waiting on Amazon shipment) so I had to plant several of them in smaller pots and will have to transplant them to 5 gal pots when the Happy Frog and Coco Loco arrives. They are in the veg tent for now, but it looks like I'll have plenty of room for them all in the big tent within a week or two. WW#1 and EM#1 got flushed with 6 gallons of ph'd spring water today and will have another day/night to bask in the UVB and deep red lights, then I'll put them in the dark for another day before lovingly hacking them to bits. 😜 EM#2 isn't quite ready yet..various up-close looks at her 14" cola told me that she still has time..probably only about 20-30% cloudy trichromes now, so more Cha Ching for her tomorrow! EM#4 is in a hurry to finish..betting tomorrow will be her last nutrient dose. EM#3 is a slow-poke..maybe two more weeks or more to fully fatten her up. CC#1 is gonna be a quick one for sure..maybe another week or 10 days at most. CC#2 might be 2 more weeks. THURSDAY: Mixed up a 2 gallon batch of early flowering nutes for the CC's and Bush Bitch, 2.5 gallons of late flowering nutes for WW#2, EM#4.. and I decided that EM#2 just isn't ready yet, so she got late flowering nutes as well. The pots on WW#1 and EM#1 were still very heavy, so they were allowed to soak up the reds and UV's for another day to hopefully dry out a little more. FRIDAY: WW#1 and EM#1 are still hoping for a reprieve from the Governor, but it's not looking good for them...their sentences are set to be carried out at dawn. Last night they were stripped down and taken into lights-out solitary confinement to await their execution. They were given no last meal and when asked if they had any final requests, they asked only that they be cremated in a series of small fires spanning a couple of months. 😏

We have reached the end of week 8. All trichomes are officially cloudy, with some amber here and there. I started their flush last night and am planning to let the go 63-65 days total. I don't know what the yield will be, but to my eyes, these plants appear to be the largest I have ever grown. I am just hoping they are dense. The last round was large as well, not nearly this big, but still large. However, the density was just not there and the yield ended up disappointing a little. Hopefully this one comes through. Cannot wait for this season so be over!!

One more week... I have improved the equipment used to make the Janes will thrive as it should be, and to make sure that the environment is solid as diamond. || I absolutely love this genetic. The aroma, the structure of the plant, structure of the flowers and the effects of the final product. 7 week is behind us. On day 45 i setting up net for holding buds and a bit more fullit up tent. There is past 3 day since she started flower. In this update i can not move out of grow room and some picture is not so perfect Peace and love ✌️😁💜💚

Week 2 : quite an easy week, just maintain Temps and plain H20 feeding... True leaves poped and looking fresh 👌. I only water every Second day or once top soil is completely dry..overfeeding is a very common mistake at this stage.. So I try my best not to do..

So all in all the strain took 98 from seed. It was easy to grow and forgiving aswell. The buds smells super sweet and are quite fluffy like a true sativa!

Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week. Bin soweit zufrieden werde die Tage mal die Äste leicht an schrägen durch anbinden am scrog netz mehr licht und luftstrom für die buds einrichten die erste Sapphire scout wächst echt dicht die brauch das unbedingt bin aber sonnst ganz zufrieden mit meinem Ergebnis bis jetzt falls einer von den Profis Anregungen oder Verbesserungs vorschläge hat würde ich mich freuen eure Meinung und Rat zu hören bilder und videos folgen jetzt in regelmäßigen Abständen ab jetzt wird ja erst interessant bis die Tage ihr grow Götter

Ayyy, look at her growing! i was away for a weekend and look at this jump. The first broken off stem attached itself after taping it. the Second branch i broke off, i tried to attach a cutting from another branch, fixated it with tape and a metal clamp. Which did not work but i think it's because i let too much green on it, so i dried up before it could fix itself. MAYBE. It's just my observation but i want to try every method i can think of, trying to attach a broken off stem again, and I will be successful finding the best technique for me. And i will share it, if i found it! Next time i will remove almost any green so it's just a little stump, i think the shorter the cutting the better. What do you say about the Training so far? (:

All seem to be happy

7/4 SUN was poking out a little bit. Plants loved that little feeding and seen to he noticeable larger this morning. I'm considering starting the nutes. At least the organic ones as well as upping the water intake I've been scared to water with all this rain and my experience last time. I plan on applying BT this afternoon and doing some work on the bottoms of the plants. I also saw a chipmunk in my cage so I have some spots in my fence that need to be patched. I know I can't compare this year to orher years as these are seeds and all the other years were clones. I CAN say for certain that my plants are healthiest they've been out of any of my journals. Previous plants were much larger but I was fighting numerous fungal, pathogens and pests at the sane time. Ear wigs would've lollipopped most buddies by now but I've seen no sign of them. I'm going to apply more poison where they were and add some rat traps inside the cage for the chipmunks. Once I fix the cage I think I'll be good. UPDATE: Went back over and fixed the holes on my cage from high winds. I found an old wire trap or cage and just cut sections and ziptied them to the existing wire and to the structure thus covering any open holes. I'll need to put lathes aroubdvtge outside because if a rodent REALLY wanted in they could get in. My belt had been wearing thin but I use shit until it breaks (yesterday the heal came off my shoe lol) so I was working hard sweating my nuts off and my belt gives out totally. At least ive got the major stuff done. I took a few videos too. I'm imagining it was this little bit of sun that gave these plants that boost of growth but I'm wondering if the added nutes had anything to do with it. Bags weren't light and I could feel moisture in the soil so I didn't water. I'll check again tomorrow morning. Since I didn't see many plants or even leaves for that matter with damage I decided to hold off ob the BT and the plant doctor. Only time will tell if that was the right decision. 7/5 Plants look fantastic. I see a few more holes in leaves sporadically amd I'm hoping it's pillars. I've seen lots of lightning bugs on my camera though and grasshoppers are abundant. Not one growth shoot has been chewed (knock on wood) which is what the earwigs had always done. I watched a video from last year and by nowcthey had lollipopped all lower leaves. It may not be the best weather growing season wise but despite the rh consistently in the 90's I still don't have pm or fungal pathogens. Need to get the BT out. Didn't water as we've had all that rain. I'll water either tonight or tomorrow morning. Sunny high in the 90s low is 66. Tomorrow looks good too. UPDATE WENT BACK OVER AROUND FIVE. IT WAS 88 DEGREES SO I WANTED TO CHECK THE GROW BAGS. THE POTS ARE FINE. IT WAS HUMID AS HELL. ONE PLANT WAS SLIGHTLY DROOPY BUT VERY LIGHT AND DRY. I FOUND TWO OTHERS THAT SEEMED LIGHTER THAN THE REST BUT HADNT DROOPED. I MIXED TWO GALLONS OF WATER WITH 1TSP KANGOROOTS AMD PHED IT CLOSE TO 6. I FED THE 3 PLANTS THAT WERE SUPER DRY LIKE A HALF GALLON AND SPRED THE REST OVER THE OTHER EIGHT PLANTS. THEY WERENT DROOPING BUT THEY WERE VERY DRY. I PLAN ON A FULL WATER TOMORROW. I WOULDVE DONE IT TODAY IF THE TEMPS WERENT SO HIGH. ITS RAINED A MONTH STRAIGHT SO I HAVENT HAD TO WATER. I MADE A COUPLE VIDEOS BUT I'LL HAVE TO UPLOAD TOMORROW. 7/6 Another super hot day. I hefted the pots and they still had some weight but I could tell they were dry. This rain has messed up my watering schedule. Well it made it so I didn't NEED to water. These are big plants now. I need to get a schedule to stick too. They're going to probably need a gallon a piece at least. I'm still nervous watering. Right now I'm just reading the plants. I added .5tsp kelp me/you to 1 gallon of water to help with heat stress. I fed an additional two gallons to the garden this morning including the two container plants in the back. They were dry on top too but I know they have water deeper down. Next watering I'll be more consistent and try to give them there 10%. It's great having the bags elevated. I can finally see when I start getting run off. I could even measure the ph of it instead of relying on that meter. Ill check the ph when I go back over. Still a few 🐛 holes but they are few and far between. I really don't want to spray for such a small problem but if I cant find them at night that's what I'll do. UPDATE: Another 90 degree day. I went back over and gave the garden a gallon of water as they were dry and it didn't rain. Tried to use a soil ph meter to check ph. First couple were 6.4, 6.5 then I got 7.3 and I accidently dropped it. Then I got somethings that were high eights and even one 9! Obviously the Meter shit the bed. I'll lower the ph of the water slightly when I fully water tomorrow and I'm going to measure the runoff. 7/8 I must've messed up the journal again as the dates are off. GAVE PLANTS A FULL WATERING. Each girl got a gallon. I couldn't upload my videos this morning as I had to break up a fight. 3 on 1. Didn't give me a chance to put the videos up. I'll take some stills then I can upload them. I took stills and they all uploaded but didn't fucking save. I'm nit going to keep trying to upload if it's not going to. Noticed a few more holes in leaves and one skeletinized leaf so I need to either spray the bt or something more versatile. I'm putting more poison around the cage and de between the bags. I'll go check things out tonight. Sick of writing a book and uploading to just hace them disappear 7/9 Did a quick video today. Noticed the bags were fairly light despite the plants being soaked amd the pallets wet. I was pressed for time. I gave two gallons to the entire garden. I hope that will hold them over until tomorrow. I'll need to up how much water I give them. Going with a gallon and a half next time. I see more pillar spots and a moth took off when I shook the plants this morning. So I'm gonna have too apply the BT. I figure if I go over before dark tonight I might be able to see aju nocturnal insects around. Luckily my dad feeds the birds and they are always there. I think they help with pests. UPDATE IT WAS A LITTLE COOLER TODAY BUT MICH MORE HUMID. I WENT AROUND SIX TO MAKE SURE THE GIRLS WERE OK WITH WATER AND TO GIVE THEM A TREATMENT OF BT. I WENT THROUGH THE GARDEN ANDCGOUND THREE LEQVES TO DEFOLIATE AND LITERALLY A COUPLE LEAVES ON TWO PLANTS WITH PILLAR HILESM WHEN I ARRIVED TWO BIRDS FLEW OUT. A HORNET CAME IN WHILE I WAS THERE. THIS DO LESS APPROACH SEEMS TO BE REALLY WORKING. I DODNT SEE NEARLT ENOUGH DAMAGE TO WARRANT SPRAY8NG MY EXTREMELY HEALTHY GIROS WITH ANYTHING. ILL KEEP AN EYE ON THEM AND CLEAN THEM UP A BIT. I DO NEED TO INSTALL THE VERY8CAL TRELLIS FOR SUPPORT. THEYRE PRETTY HEALTHY THOUGH. ONE PLANT IS ABOUT AS WIDE AS IT IS TALL. STILL......PLANTS ARE EXPLODING AND ITS GETTING TIGHT IN THERE. I NEED TO GET THE TRELLIS UP THOUGH. 7/10 I went over and was planning to water. Plants were wet and it's raining. Top of the medium was moist but the bags were light. ONE bag was super light but seeing that we are having showers all day and an additional half inch of rain coming tonight so I didn't water them. Especially since they looked great. Decided to to spray BT yet as the damage is so small and i think the birds have been taking care of the pillars for me. Now I'm wondering if I should've gave that ONE plant a little bit of water but it will be find. Did a video. I'm being careful not to over water. Last year this is when all my buddies were devoured by earwigs. And no senescence like the years before. I think it was hust those earwigs. I haven't lost shot for leaves. Even the stalks are bright green and look amazing.
