Lemon Cherry Gelato YumYum 🙂 | Week 13 Final stretch, full weight, and still not done While one Lemon Cherry Gelato is already hanging and drying from last week’s harvest, her sister is still standing — and still stacking. That alone says a lot about this run. Same seed pack. Same room. Same schedule. Same treatment. Yet one finished first, and the other decided she still had more to say. That’s part of the beauty of running from seed, and part of what keeps these 12/12 from seed runs so interesting from start to finish. Same start, same environment, different expression. One leaned into the early finish. The other kept building. And now here we are with the second Lemon Cherry Gelato still pushing hard into late flower, still swelling, still changing, and very clearly not in a hurry. This run has been 12/12 from seed from day one. No veg reset, no transplant games, no long shaping phase — just straight into expression, structure, and flower. Fast, honest, and always a great reminder that a plant does not need extra time to show you what it’s made of. And this one is showing plenty. ⸻ Week 13 | Still building, still swelling This week made one thing very clear: we are in the final stretch, but we are not finished yet. The plant is deep into late flower now and changing fast. Not just in size, but in presence. Buds are denser. Calyxes are swelling harder. The room smells thicker. The air feels heavier. Colors are starting to shift. Resin is louder every day. Everything is becoming more concentrated now. This is the stage where the plant stops pretending. No more stretch. No more unnecessary movement. No more wasted energy. Now it is all weight, density, oils, pressure, and finish. And she is leaning into all of it. ⸻ Heavy enough to break herself The most obvious change this week is weight. Not visual weight. Real weight. Branches are bending hard. Some are splitting. Some are collapsing under their own mass. Support is no longer optional here — it is mandatory. And honestly, that says everything. This is not airy late flower bulk. This is real density. The kind that starts testing branch strength. The kind that reminds you genetics matter. The kind that turns “nice structure” into “please hold yourself together one more week.” The stems on this plant are thick. The branching is strong. The trunk is solid. And even with that, she is still pushing enough mass to test her own frame. That tells the story better than I can. ⸻ Feeding less, finishing more At this point, feeding is simple. No more pushing. No more chasing numbers. No more trying to force anything extra out of her. She has already done the work. Now the goal is simple: let her finish clean. At this stage she is only getting water and enzymes (Pure Zym), keeping the root zone active, helping break down what is left, and allowing the plant to use what she already stored. That’s it. No heavy feeding. No late flower overcorrection. No panic bottles. Just clean support, stable inputs, and enough patience not to ruin the last stretch by doing too much. Late flower is often less about what you add, and more about what you stop interfering with. ⸻ Environment | Warm, stable, and still working Room temperatures are still a little warmer than ideal, sitting around 26°C during lights on and around 18°C at night. Would I prefer slightly cooler late flower temps? Sure. But the plants are telling their own story, and they are not showing stress worth chasing. That matters more. Leaves still look happy. Uptake is still steady. Flowers are still swelling. Resin is still building. Nothing is stalling. Nothing is fading early. Nothing is asking for emergency corrections. So while the room is a touch warmer than perfect on paper, the plants are still performing exactly how they should. And at this stage, healthy performance always matters more than textbook perfection. ⸻ Studio trip included (because of course) And yes — despite the size, despite the weight, despite how awkward moving late flower plants becomes… she still went to the studio. Not because it was practical. Because she earned it. And honestly, this one deserved proper light. She is not the tallest plant in the room, but she is dense, broad, heavy, and full enough to make carrying her feel like moving a small tree made of resin. Worth it. ⸻ What to expect next week At this point, the answer is simple: More weight. More density. More color. More resin. More pressure on branches. And hopefully clearer signs of the finish line. What not to expect is a dramatic change in direction. She is not about to stretch. She is not about to explode into new shape. She is not about to surprise anyone with speed. From here, it is all refinement. The next week should be about tightening, ripening, swelling, and watching the plant decide when she is actually done. Not when the calendar says so. When she says so. And that is the only timing that matters. ⸻ Final stretch This one feels special. Not because she is finished. Because she is close enough now to make every day count. The room is changing. The plant is changing. The air is changing. And the finish is starting to feel real. We are close now. Not done. But close enough to respect every extra day. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. They smell great. Not a hard grow, but not stabilized genetics. 4 different phenos all with differing flowering times. Make it tough when you use your grow tent as a dry tent to contain smell. Had to buy another tent just to dry the ones that were finished instead of risking them herming. 5.8 oz dried and trimmed bud. Didn't weigh larf/trimmings but will be dry sifting it for the press.

Day 51, Its looking good. The leaves are turning yellow and purple and lot of buds are turning blue. Very colorful, you can tell the bag appeal is going to be a 10/10 as its frosting up very nice as well. Only issue I'm having is the buds weight so much their falling everywhere, I'll do my best to tie them down and hold up the branches best as possible with what I have. Tuesday I'll get more stakes. Tomorrow will be my last day feeding MagnifiCal and I'll start giving them a lighter solution right till the end as I don't flush unless my PPM runoff is very high. You can't take nutrients out of plants after its taken it in. Your flushing your medium. I did want to run it to 70 days, but with everything already falling over and the fall colors. Its looking like 65 days. Any questions please don't hesitate. I'll add more pics right after lights out.

Hello. Wow! There has been a lot of color changing going on here. I'll be harvesting in 6 days. I've flushed 3 times so far and I will do 1 more flush before harvest. I had a extra #2 clone and put it in the garden, where I harvested the onions. I wanted to test for powdery mildew and pest resistance. I took some tester/taster clippings and they will be dry in a few days. Nothing else for this week. Have Fun. Chuck.

The Grow: This was an outdoor grow, although I started the Wedding Cheesecake FF (Fast-Flowering) indoors in early spring as the weather was still too cold to put her outside (nighttime temp's were dipping regularly into the 30's℉). The plan was simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she was moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I had already setup with slow release dry amendments and inoculated with beneficial microbes, followed up with top dressings every 3-4 weeks with amendments and worm castings! She was a thirst and hungry girl and grew and enormous trunk as well as having a root system that was expansive! The Wedding Cheesecake FF grew for a total of 182 days from breaking ground to harvest, with 55 days of it in flower.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 49 – Vegetative Phase: All plants have reached the target — the edge of the pot. A heavy defoliation and removal of smaller shoots were carried out. This is intended to prevent the plants from investing excessive energy into biomass that would later be pruned anyway. A Pulse Zero and a soil moisture sensor have now been added to the setup. In preparation for the upcoming flowering phase, VPD is being increased toward a range of 1.0–1.2, primarily by lowering relative humidity. Once the plants have recovered from the stress, flowering will be initiated. During the stretch phase, a SCROG net will likely be installed. Day 52 – Vegetative Phase: We are fully on track — VPD is currently between 0.90 and 1.2, which is exactly the target range for the late vegetative phase as it approaches transition. The plants have also recovered well from LST. The strongest shoots were supercropped (bent). This brought the canopy back to an even height. Three ladybugs have moved into the tent as natural protectors — if more are found, they will also be welcomed in.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto - Outdoor Week 2 The three Lemon Cherry Cookies continue to develop nicely outdoors. Warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine are providing excellent conditions for steady growth and healthy leaf development. One of the three ladies has decided to take her own unique path and is currently growing a little stretched and crooked. But that's part of outdoor growing. Not every plant starts perfectly, and sometimes those are the ones that surprise you the most later on. The other two plants are already showing a nice structure and are developing very evenly. Overall, I am very happy with the progress of the Lemon Cherry Cookies during week 2 and look forward to seeing how they perform in the coming weeks. 🌱 Every grow tells its own story. 📅 New updates and reports every Sunday.

2024-05-17 And they are in Turbo- Mode. ( explosive grow) They were growing around 30 cm, i did some training on them. but you dont see it anymore, just the topping is to see you can watch them grow, literally i think next week we will see some flowers. and they will go outdoors ( probably) just waiting for the best time reeders Info: Fatso GMO F1 Auto, a feminized hybrid strain, emerges from the crossbreeding of two autoflowering varieties: Fatso Auto and Cotton Candy Auto. This California-derived cultivar leans slightly towards sativa, offering growers a straightforward cultivation experience coupled with impressive yields, robust THC levels, and a delightful palate featuring sweet, candy, and fuel undertones. Thriving both indoors and outdoors, Fatso GMO F1 Auto exhibits above-average resistance to mold, while still benefiting from adequate ventilation, particularly in environments with higher humidity levels. Its exceptional resistance to pests and pathogens ensures hassle-free cultivation. While indoor plants maintain a compact stature of around 100cm or less, outdoor specimens can stretch a bit taller, reaching heights of up to 130cm when grown in open ground. Completing its entire lifecycle within a maximum of 75 days from germination to harvest, Fatso GMO F1 Auto delivers yields considered average yet impressive for an autoflowering strain. The combination of high resin production and elevated terpene levels renders it an excellent choice for cannabis extract production. Its terpene profile presents a sweet and funky aroma with savory hints of Skunk complemented by pine and floral notes. On the palate, it delights with flavors reminiscent of sweet candy underscored by subtle fuel undertones. With THC levels reaching a high of 24% and minimal CBD content, Fatso GMO F1 Auto delivers a balanced and uplifting effect, appealing to enthusiasts seeking a satisfying and harmonious experience.

Soil ph resolved, back to 6.7. End of this week all will get their final top dress and then will just be getting ph'd water with CalMag+ through the remainder of flower. I do plan on adding molasses 2-3 tbsp/gl every 3 to 4 days to feed the microbes. PP has such a strong fruity aroma, WW is hashy, GSD still smelling like a bag of candy. The BD has not really impressed me with growth, tricomes or environmental tolerance....finicky bitch! GSD looks like hell as well with continuing leaf purpling and yellowing. The GSD would have been absolutly FIRE if it had gotten flipped way earlier (note to self for future runs with it).

Day 29, pistils! So happy! Day 30 broke the main stem LSTing, so taped it up & fingers crossed it works. Couldn't save the main stem so I removed it. The rest of the plant seems pretty happy though.
