Add slightly nutrients. Day Nr 16 doing topping. Nutrient tank with capacity 10L turning little bit in alkaline, at the beginning I added 3ml ph down and reach 6.4 pH, than now it’s inccrise to 6.6 on 5 days time. Same I can telling about TDS. At the beginning it was 350 ppm, but now it’s step up on 400ppm without adding nothing. Day 18 start moving out new branches from places around where was topping. Keep watering with 1.5L with slight nutrients dosage… Day 20 we can see how flower keep moving ahead after topping days ago…

Plant is still tiny, grew 5cm / 2". It looks like it's slowly dying. The original leaves at the bottom went brown so I removed them. Some of the upper ones don't look great either. It's not a calcium deficiency. The bottom of the pot was very dry so I rinsed the soil with plain water. The dryness is the result of: A) me having to add a heater B) the blumat auto watererers focussing the wanter in specific areas. The roots clump around the waterers thus everything else drys up. I need to water directly from now on and look to fix this problem going forward.

Lots of new growth this week, looks like the screen is about 50% full, I’m thinking in the next week or two I’ll get to 12/12. In the mean time I’m adding an extra hour of darkness every few days to make her transition to flower smooth and stress less for her.

The plant continue to grow incredibly strong and fast from now on I well slow down on grow nutrientes cuz the leaves are very dark green and we are well into flowering meaning they don't need that much not nitrogen anymore. Thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.

I didn't train her this week, I'll do it again next week :-). It was poured twice this week with 1.2 l each time (see nutrient table above for adding nutrients). I sprayed them all with GreenBuzzLiquida Fast Plant spray. I also cleaned the entire tent and checked everyone's health. Fresh osmosis water was prepared and filled into canisters. Yellow boards against flies have been put up and blue tags to prevent trips. Unfortunately I still struggle with them but they have become significantly less pushed. Third week of flower just starting Watered with 1100 ppm 1ml/l Cal Mag 1ml/l Uptake 1ml/ Big Bud 2ml/l Micro 1.5m/l Grow 2ml/l Bloom First time using big bud and andvace in general so I expect to impress myself, this growth has been beautiful and im afraid that is for the pH perfect thecnology, my previous grown autos been watered with top crop auto tri pack , but I still think that my Chinesse pH meter doesn't work as well as advanced thecnology Defoliated a lot, under canopys were under main fan leaves, I wouldn't mind to keep them but since the were in full dark under I think it's better yo defoliate Imma keep updating pictures as the weeks goes

Welcome everybody to week 2 of white widow X big bud from female seeds. So far so good it's looking healthy and growth is beginning to pick up speed. I did try to germinate two of these but only one popped. I'm not sure if the seed was inviable from the start or if it was something else. But lucky for the community we still have a representative for this promising strain. I gave her her first round of worm tea and have steadily been pushing the light intensity. I also rough up the main stem regularly to increasing it's strength. She has began to increase growth rate and I looking forward to it's continued progress. Ehi ragazzi scusate il ritardo di un giorno ma ho avuto problemi di famiglia. . Apparte questo la ragazza ha avuto problemi pure lei in quanto io stupidamente mi sono dimenticato per due settimane di somministrare "top Candy" il quale naturalmente era incluso nella scheda nutrizionale , ma io nn ci ho fatto caso e la piantai è andata in carenza Cal/Mag impressionante perché la sua genetica di crescita così esplosiva richiede , a quanto pare , grandi quantità di calcio e magnesio per costruire tutte le pareti cellulari di quel mostro di pianta che sta diventando... Poi nn è finita lì perché io ho sbagliato di nuovo dando il top Candy insieme a tutti gli altri più volte quando ho bagnato e mi è andata di conseguenza in overfert almeno per 3 o 4 giorni se non di più, quindi i tipici segnali che la pianta non cresce come prima etc... Allora cosa faccio?!! Chiedo consiglio ad amici e faccio un lavaggio veloce radici leggero e poi ho aspettato , ora ho iniziato di nuovo nutrienti , con basse dosi, e sembra che stia reiniziando a crescere .. mi dispiace 😞 solo che questo tempo perso di sicuro influirà sul risultato finale e sono triste ... Perché sono errori banali da principianti che hanno fretta o hanno a cui pensare e invece per queste ragazze ci vuole massima dedizione e nessuna distrazione! 😼. Apparte questo la pianta ha reiniziato a crecsere e ha un bellissimo colore viola intenso! È la prima volta nella mia vita che vedo una purple dal vivo ci credete? 🙂🐱😹 Come sempre ringrazio Mars hydro che sta rendendo possibile la crescita di questo mostro e di tutte le altre sorelle che vi farò vedere prossimamente ! September 25 > Harvest at dawn for the big girl. The usual routine... except I shot a time-lapse video this time to play with the camera I won last year. Clipped the top buds first - then the base. Took me 2 hours to wash all that -rinse - repeat. ---------------------------------------- Well this was an interesting summer with this pair of girls. I learned that I don't really need a container larger than 10 gallons in order to grow very large plants (in my neck of the woods anyway). Now when I say large I mean how much space they take up on my patio. I'm allowed to grow 6 legally but 4 eats up pretty much the whole patio. And the reality is I don't need to grow plants that large. The outdoor yield will last well into next year for me and everybody I know. So next summer I plan to do much more serious pruning to limit the scope and shape of the girls I grow outdoors. I also learned that I don't need an inverted tomato cage style support if my container is larger than 5 gallons. The Durban I grew last summer was in a 5 gallon container and there's not enough weight in there to keep her grounded. Once up to 10 gallons you won't want to lift the container much and there's enough weight in there to keep things stable. At the moment I've listed 450g as a dry weight for both plants (updated to 458g final). I haven't actually weighed the 2nd plant yet and won't even trim her for about a week or so (I'll be back to update diary). The first girl came in at 235 grams. I got pretty ruthless throwing away small budlets and trim this morning as it took me 4 hours to take this big girl down and wash her up. That's only because I spent half a day yesterday trimming Cream & Cheese and moving Northern Lights around... and it's been over 95 degrees both days... so I'm ready for a rest. Cannabis harvesting is not easy labor. Diary note > There was a software malfunction a week or so back and I was unable to add a new flowering week, whereupon it was determined there was a limit of 26 weeks at that time... so I didn't add any more weeks after that until the harvest week. When I added the harvest week, it appears the malfunction had been corrected because I COULD HAVE added a new flowering week at that time. I think there's only a week missing. Differences can be noted with dates on the photos. If I had a problem this summer it's because I was too anxious to get going after a long winter nursing shoulder surgery and I didn't pay proper attention to the lighting ramifications when the instructions were there for me, and subsequently started too early. Next year I plan for an early crop of auto flowers to keep me occupied until the proper time for a regular crop. --------------------------------------- September 30 > Trimming and processing complete. I really manhandled the big girl with the Trimbag, largely because I knew I was gonna have a pound of herb on my hands (way more than I will personally consume) and I wanted to minimize my hand trimming. So when I say manhandled here, I mean I ran it through the process TWICE, using about 40 rotations/spins each time. It probably would have helped to be a tad drier, but we're entering a cool spell now and we've run out of time. Mother Nature has decided to turn off the heater... which has turned my Purple Berry Kush a nice shade of purple... but that's tomorrow mornings's harvest... <sigh>... anyway... where was I... oh yeah... AMNESIA... <hehe> Trimbag generated trim on 1st pass = 217 g Trimbag generated trim on 2nd pass = 90 g Trim generated by hand after that = 186 g Final bud weight for big girl = 223 g Clearly, comparing weight of trim generated by hand vs by the Trimbag here you can see the result of my "manhandling". Little girl was in a 10 gallon pot and generated 235 g buds and 360 g trim. Big girl was in a 15 gallon pot and generated 223 g buds and 493 g trim. Final total bud weight 458 grams for both plants. Hope anybody following along learned something this summer. I did. 😎 The trick is to not make the same mistake twice. That's kinda why we're all here. Kinda. ✊

Showing a bit under 2 weeks of growth in this slot. I water every 2 days. But on the 3rd, the plant gets dramatic. Haha. Seriously 1 extra day without water and she freaks. Obviously she perked right back up after feeding and all is well. Down sides of growing a massive plant in a tiny container I guess. Just 6 days later from the drought day, I'm noticing crazy bulking of flower. The mother plant that this clone came from took a bit longer to get to this point. The mother plant did not get this much stress during vegetation either. Also am using UVb. And I have to say I'm noticing a massive difference in trichomes compared to the mother plant that didn't get any UVb. Trichs came in sooner and look thicker. I took a look with jewelers loop on older fan leaves and even they have tiny little trichomes. Can't say it raises the potency of it but it definitely adds more. Stopped feeding anything with nitrogen in it around week 3 of flower. Noticing some slight yellowing already from it. Maybe I cut of N a bit too early. Should have continued through week 4. Now I know. I feed Recharge once a week. I like to think it helps as I do notice slight differences a few days after using it. I have gotten rid of root rot before with it. Or so I believe.

. FIRST DAYS ------------- New week, new diet The girls are getting 3+3ml of Grow A+B, and still 2ml of Voodoo. Instead of 3 waterings of 1L, we are now doing 3 x 3L. One of the girls has some minor burns, so I am keeping a close eye on that. An excess of nutrients seems unlikely to me, but I will see in a few days after this increase. MIDWEEK ----------- It's probably not just the Voodoo, but my girls have grown a lot this week. I think they like this little juice 😉The root system still has some work to fill the 15L of coco, but things are going well. As for the small burns on the leaves, I think it's due to heat and/or wind stress: the temperature frequently rose to +35°C and the leaves were shaken by my fans, which were directed straight at them. I increased the speed of my filter and placed the fans facing the sides of the tent while increasing the air flow; we're back to an average of 30°C. To be continued. But most importantly, the girls have developed 4-5 nodes... so it's training time! 👍 I know what many people think about topping autos, but I disagree; it clearly has the advantage of giving the plant an airy structure that is easy to control and produces denser buds when combined with mainlining and light lollipopping. My goal: a 6-branch structure, which may eventually develop a few side branches. To achieve this, two toppings a week apart and some serious LST are needed. I'll try to film the whole process, training sess by training sess, and post the results here in a few weeks. Here I am again, I've been neglected this diary for 3 weeks so I made a fast update on the last 3 weeks, not so detailed unfortunately. Today is day 58, some leaves are yellowing and I don't understand what it could be. It seems a Phosphorus deficiency but there are also this strange rusty spots on some leaves on top of the plant. From what I know in case of deficiencies the first leaves to suffer should be the ones in the bottom part of the plant but I don't know. I upped the calmag a little because the rust spots could indicate calmag deficiency. Learning something new everyday with this hobby, I just hope I manage to stop the problem because in my previous grow I had a similar problem and didn't managed to stop it so in harvest time all the leaves were basically dead. Anothe detail I'm not happy about is the not so even canopy I created. I think I started LST a little too soon and therefore deformed a little too much the plant. Next time I'll try to top for the first time. Other than the problem I mentioned the buds are stacking up really really nice and they smell amazing. Real frosty buds it seems as you can see from the video. I hope I'm doing good :D
