Flush week.

Buenas gente Una vez más aquí, está vez un poco tarde por motivos de trabajo. Pero no, nos olvidamos de nuestra querida planta. Se le práctico otra poda apical, se cambió de maceta y se pasó a floración hoy mismo después de un riego foliar. Llevada con riegos de The hype company en breve empezamos con los de flora para estimular un mejor desarrollo. Así que veremos cómo sigue en la siguiente

It was a week with a lot of activity. First of all, she had her first full week of flowering and did a bit of a stretch. Also I switched her to the left side of the tent, to space the plants more evenly. We are getting to a canopy, although one of her roommates probably is male and will be removed. More about this when I update my Xtrakushh Diary. Also had time to fit the scrognet. It fits way better than last grow, much tighter. We had some problems with the lighting. I probably hit my timer with one of my sausage fingers, making my lights turn on in the middle of the night, thank god I found it out in time. They maybe had an hour or two of light for one night. Still something she really doesn't need with this strains tendency to hermie under stress. She still looks happy. Did some gentle leaf tucking, some LST under the net, and a little defoliation. The branches might be short but they are very sturdy and should be able to carry large and heavy buds. And we had won the @Sweet_Seeds Halloween give-away and got to choose three of their legendary strains: Tropicanna Poison, Red Hot Cookies and Runtz XXL auto!! Thanks guys!!! After experimenting with various brands of nutrient formulations and concentrations.. the plant is showing improved health. The root zone has become too dense for consistent flood levels even with the same number of seconds for the pump ON cycle. The solution is now fed through the pipe which is reduced to the smaller feeder line to fill the nutrient solution at at the top of the container which is gravity fed back into the reservoir. The original air stone is used to prevent the roots escaping the container and entering into the nutrient tank solution. The only way to remove the roots is to let them dry out and shrink enough for easy withdrawal from the container. The video shows very slow drainage due to the barbed pipe attachement beging submerged below the top of the nutrient level. It was removed to facilitate quicker drainage. I just noticed that I swore in the video as I was still playing with the timer ON setting and had to quickly unplug the electricity manually in order avoid an overflow... 😂

She seems quite short. Not sure what I've done wrong. 😏

Finally got a grow tent. Still using the shitty lights though, that'll be fixed another pay day !

Hello All. I found some powdery mildew 2 days ago. I went to the grow store Monday and just happened to get some White Wash, frequency changed water. Knocks it right out. In the garden too. I put a disk fan along the roof line, just to keep the air moving. So far the Amnesia Lemon hasn't showed any signs of p.m.. I had to tie up a lotta buds this week. The Skunkberry has dense buds. And the sister of the featured plant was getting heavy too! The Burmberry stood up. I noticed a few yellowing leaves and so added some extra nitrogen, they musta liked it. I was going to this week, take 3- 10 to 12 inch clones I have in veg and place them in the grow tent to start them to flower. and in about 3 weeks I'll put the Dr. Atomic Northern Lights Male and the flowering clones in a different greenhouse and make some seeds. Oh boy! can't wait. I've grown for so long wondering about making my own. O.K. Talk to ya more later. Chuck.

I’m excited to see what RQS have to offer with this little Gem! I’ve been waiting to try another of Royals Automatics, Green Gelato is a strain I very much look forward to with desert strains being at the Top of my list 🥇 It’s been an eventful first few days.. (arnt they always!) she’s poked her head up yesterday so Day 1 is 30/03/20. Let’s see how this week treats her, I plan to keep a close eye on the environmental conditions and to ensure she’s being fed some gentle nutrients, CalMag to begin with followed by some BioBizz Grow for the extra nitrogen needed at this delicate time 👌 See you all next week, I hope with more leaves to show 🌱✌️ Peace and love, stay safe

The light will be switched to an 18/6 light cycle from today. The distance is 55cm with a value of 686 PPFD (PhotoneApp). TopMax and BioBloom will also be added to the irrigation water from this week. I am curious to see how the plants will develop in the coming weeks. -01.03.2025 The plants are developing very well. They were watered on Tuesday 27.02 and today 01.03 with 1 liter of water each (2ml BioGrow; 1mlCalMag; 1mlBioGrow; 1mlTopMax). The LST was adjusted again and a few leaves and popcorn buds were removed. Total Time-1031:04h Total Energy-166,72kWh

This plants have developed beautiful branches that will develop awesome fat nuggets for sure! Really nice strain to grow, would be awesome to apply lst some time on this strain, I have applied a selective defoliation on them, let's see how this ladies keep developing, I start to count the days of flower on April 10th!

pH was still leaning towards the low side earlier in the week, but by Saturday's watering, pH is within desired range. Indoor AC unit is broken this week (will be replaced by next week) - but have been improvising to perform temperature control inside the tent as much as possible. Daytime light is currently set for overnight, as to mitigate overheating during summer months. During this week while we are improvising, the focus is on keeping the tent temperature as close to 80 degrees F (ideally below, but with outdoor air temps being around 100 daily, this is difficult this week). Using ice buckets and multiple oscillating fans to control the temperature as much as possible. Plants are under some stress from this, but leaves are not wilting and are only slightly discolored on some of the tips, which has improved with Saturday's heavy nutrient feed. Will update next week once AC unit is back and tent conditions are more under control, but thankfully plants seem to be making it through, and should bounce back quickly once conditions are back to normal. Nutrient type was switched to Fox Farm Big Bloom; a heavy feeding was performed on Saturday as the plants were a bit nutrient deficient, but will return to maintenance feedings on next feeding. Borked the time tracking on the previous diary weeks, both are still going strong. Grapefruit is developing a lot of new internode fan leaves, but she's too late into bloom now to defoliate etc. and don't want to stress the GG XL either. Latest GG XL photos are in Week 5. Microgreens are also coming up fast. 17/07: Forgot to take Day 42 photos for both girls, my apologies as my wrists have been giving me hell but will get some more up soon. I've been keeping with the same watering schedule, some bud sites are being shaded by fan leaves so I'm trying to VERY carefully bend them down to prop up the little bud sites better. I've rubbed my fingers on some of the fan leaves to get rid of whatever weird white dust is ending up on my leaves, probably just debris from the air and the fan might need a cleaning soon but holy shit my fingers smell strong like Pomegranate and fruits. It's getting quite addictive to smell the bud sites and rub that resin of her fan leaves, I wish I could describe it better but damn it smells good. If the resin is any indication of the final smoke I know that the Grapefruit is gonna be dank. Can't wait till drying + harvest time :)) 18/07: Plucked off some lower burnt leaves that were really old, snipped off two more big fan leaves shading new bud sites and removed the stumps from old leaves rather making those closely cut down stubs instead so no bug invaders can get a free home. :P Humidity has been ridiculously high today >~65% and dropping now in the evening after the rain has stopped to <~60%, I added some Sodium Bicarbonate in plastic jars around the tent to help pull out water from the air. (18/07: Seems to be helping, I'm seeing about a ~2-5% drop overnight and this morning, usually the humidity in the morning before+after rain is ~60-65%) 20/07: The paper ref regarding RH and Bicarb. of Soda: W.-Y. Kuu et al. / International Journal of Pharmaceutics 166 (1998) 167–175 / PII: S0378-5173(98)00049-0 - I don't know how or why but keeping temps at ~21-23C drops the RH down to a stable mid-low 50's range. Thank fuck now I don't have to drop tonnes of money on a huge dehumidifier... Occam's razor baby :) 21/07: Had to move the light, fan, carbon filter and literally everything. Some minor shit for the cover broke on top of the CaCl -RH% and the bicarb got knocked over. Wiped, sprayed down and cleaned out the fan filter as well. What a fucking start to the day... 31/07: GG XL is in Week 7 now, so getting well into flower, growing at an exponential rate and starting to give off a very subtle smell, Grapefruit smells quite noticeable now too. 03/08: GG XL ending week 7, getting massive. ~77-78CM now. Had to defoliate the Grapefruit since leaf miners were still assaulting her, hopefully this helps get more light and airflow into the bud sites, been having humidity issues but can't do much.

She got a bit taller then i like but the flowers are so amazing, i had to deal with a heatwave (40celcius) mid flower so she got a bit heat stress on top but nothing dramatic

Well, still endless white hairs at 73 days. However they are starting to tighten up good now, and trichs are starting to pick up. Hopefully I can take them down in within 7-10 days. Just tossed 2 GDP(Big Head Seeds), 1 Gelato(Broken Skull Seeds), and 1 Exodus Cheese(Green House) in the tupperware for next round, will be a bit uneven with the diff phenos but I'll weed out the best one and run that x4 next time around.

02/23 (M) (Pre-Flower) flipped mother into flower last week - flushed with clean water for 2 days then began giving flower nutes in small doses for now - still feeding off the drip lines seems to be working as planned. Feeds will become more often (once/twice a day - 1 min feeds. 02/23 (C) - 7 of the 15 clones have rooted successfully with thick multi strands in each clone - Green color starting to come back as well - Have begun applying nute feeds to help recovery - Will give the other 8 sometime to begin rooting but if nothing happens in the next week then I will keep the 7 rooting now and cull the other 8.
