Hello Growmies! Welcome to Week 3 of flower of Stracciatella in a bucket! this week the plant continued her stretching, received aggressive defoliation and finally showed sex! I'm hoping to see the beginning of buds soon. I cleaned up her entire skirt, big leaves that were essentially just sucking up energy, small nodes that would never have grown to anything etc, when I do this I usually leave a few ugly big, energy sucking leaves, my reasoning behind this is if the plant struggles from a mobile deficiency, it will pull those nutrients its deficient from these bigger leaves, indicating me that there is a problem, without and before the sugar leaves getting hit. that's the theory anyway aside from stretching I also messed up the light schedule a couple of times this week, at one point in the dark cycle the light came on for 20 minutes, and then last night I left the tent open during dark cycle for 6 hours, hopefully this won't cause the plant to reveg, or delay her flowering I'll be keeping my eye out for any possible hermies.

Hi growers, so we're now in week 7 and the red poison is definitely winning in terms of speed, she looks and smell gorgeous, i reckon 2 more weeks. The purple lemonade is taken longer than usual but alls good, she is starting to turn pink/light purple which im excited to see. And for the bcn critical, she's small but it looks like she'll have some bih nuggs. Overall, im happy with the progress, if anyone has any pointers or notices that I'm doing it wrong, please tell me. Runtz Fem (mother) is on week 8. It's been a somewhat slow grow. But, I've been able to make a perfect pheno that changed early into a bigger pot does have fast growth for this pheno. It's strong. Hardy & quick to recover & nor easily affected by any issues. These are the perfect traits for my test. It's not about yield. It's about having a quality flower producing pheno. Which I can put 2 clones thar come off the same node set (pair) and are even as clones in appearance & more importantly as genes you can test with in this setting. Week 8 Days 48-53 Day 50, she's ready to be cloned. She'll get 6 hrs of rest. I'll remove the clones and treat them in clonex with rockwool cubes. Have made a humidity dome as I can find the ones I bought years ago. But this will do till rooted in 4-7 days. Day 51 Day 2 clones have survived and going strong at 36hrs later you see they're doing well behind a big pot in my tent (more or less ambient light with a bottle keeping up high RH above 85%. Refreshing air everyday). Keeping my eye on the wool to make sure everything keeps moist. Will be putting both fully rooted clones into 7L pots of exact same mix of Promix soil & using the Terra line from plagron with power roots & Startup (which was gifted by my grow store). Only plagron will be used in these phenos. The mother will remain on Xpert Nutrients and not be given green sensation aswel ad 1 of the 7L clone pots obviously. 3 phenos of the same in all. 1 Xpert Nutrients (full line) 1 Full Plagron (with) Green Sensation 1 Full Plagron (without) Green Sensation 3 phenos 1 mother. 3 different results. Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. Hey So I had to harvest a little earlier now because I'm going on vacation, so I'm done with everything 2 weeks before :) It was quite easy to grow it has a very strong smell and generally a strong effect it tastes sweet/sour/woody It is sticky and the buds are quite heavy I harvested 146.5g dry weight from a plant :))

Jetzt geht’s rund! Bin mal gespannt wie die jetzt abliefern. Hab ne kleine Defoliation gemacht. Gelollipoppt wurde diesmal nichts, weil ich n canopy diameter von 30-40cm hab und das alles im Bereich ist wo das Licht stark genug hinkommt. Sie sehen jetzt auch wieder top top gesund aus und beten zum Licht. Die trichomen Produktion gefällt mir bis jetzt auch gut, da ziehen sie ordentlich an! Ende der Woche nehme ich falls nötig nochmal das ein oder andere überflüssige Blatt ab und dann lass ich sie in Ruhe.

papaya cookies has now completed her stretch. typical for papaya, she develops purple/pink pistils. such a beauty. hopefully the weather will stay good enough for her bulk.

Plant are under the structure i build. It will he used to provide shade, protection against moths and shelter from heavy late summer rains. Every now and then plants were trained through LST. I watered twice a day about 2% of total volume.

Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. The leaf chewing has mostly subsided now since I have been spraying Neem Oil on her every 2-3 days. She's also beginning to increase in height about an inch per day now and has great color and vigor. 6/2- Yesterday I top dressed the Papaya Sherbet with 2 cups of Gaia Green 4-4-4, 1 cup of Down to Earth Bio Fish along with 1/2 gallon of worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendments into the soil by hand, I watered it in via garden hose with straight well water. 6/4- It rained hard yesterday, so I skipped watering the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo today as the ground was still pretty wet. 6/6- The last two days have been sunny and warm so I watered the Papaya Sherbet photo with straight well water from the garden hose today. Another week gone by for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and I'm looking forward to next week, as well as the weeks that will follow to see how this lady progresses!
