Will give them one more week until the substrate dries out. 10 Apr - just waiting for the substrate to dry out before chopping down. Trichome productions is crazy. I hope they taste as good as they look.

Flora Fifth Week!!

OMG, so much has happened since my last post, this is way overdue. My soil went totally hydrophobic, my PH pen was outta calibration so my soil ph was way of, combined with another gnat infestation. Things are much better know. the gnats are gone, transplanted into larger pots with newly bought soil, changed lighting to 18/6, vegged for a couple more weeks . One plant showed full male pollen sacs and one had suspicious looking male pre-flowers so I culled both. The last 2 showed what I think look like female pre-flowers. I just flipped lights to 12/12 on 4/4 so hopefully I have 2 females, started weaving thru scrog net, canopy looks fairly even, plants due look super healthy aside from couple tips have a bit of yellow But thats from early veg when I had the lights a tad too close. Wish me luck ;).

But for those who love the details, the full spread of pictures is right here, as always. t this point in flower, the girls are not eating — they’re just drinking clean water with nothing but System Clean in the reservoir, at a rate of 0.25 ml per liter. This is part of a gentle, prolonged flush phase I like to implement, giving the plants a chance to metabolize and fade naturally. The goal is to promote clean, vibrant flowers that finish with optimal expression, without rushing the process. No forced flush, just time and care. Lighting-wise, the spectrum has been tuned with precision — we’re currently running 40% on the whites, with reds and UVs at 100% to drive trichome development, resin production, and color expression in these final days. The plants are loving it — they’re soaking in the deeper wavelengths that signal the end of their life cycle and responding with a final push of energy. And yes — we’ve been running 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness from the very start of flower. It’s not the usual 12/12, and it comes with its pros and cons. On the upside, it helps speed up ripening slightly, encourages more compact flower formation, and mimics the natural seasonal decline in daylight. On the flip side, it slightly reduces the overall DLI (daily light integral), so you need to ensure your PPFD and spectrum are dialed in just right to avoid sacrificing yield. I soaked the seeds for 24 hours in a mixture of BioAg Ful-power, 6.3 Ph water & aloe Vera. I then inoculated the soil with the mixture of ingredients I listed above. After that I placed the seeds 1/4” into the soil & placed them under the humidity dome after spraying them with my pump sprayer. Current temp is 75 degrees F & Humidity is 89%.

Week 2 of flower for White Widow Shes really looking great! Colour is spot on id say, stretched her out a bit so the light has better chance to penetrate to the lowers. Really looking forward to what comes from this girl in the next 2 weeks or so.

Let's talk about our Jealousy girls from Zamnesia Seeds. We have one Jealousy (1) at 15 weeks and another Jealousy (2) at 14 weeks. Jealousy (1), nicknamed 'the first,' has been on a water-only regimen for two weeks now. For the past three days, instead of regular watering, we've been adding ice to her pot to give her a little stress. Meanwhile, Jealousy (2), or 'the second,' is still enjoying her nutrient diet with TDS at 1800 ppm and pH at 6.2. However, Jealousy (1) has started showing signs of yellowing leaves and around 30% of her trichomes have turned brown. We're planning to harvest Jealousy (1) by the end of the week on March 3, 2024. As for Jealousy (2), she's still growing strong!
