Plants are growing! But so is my mold problem I recently got a hygrometer and noticed that my humidity was ranging from 64-70 percent which I realize is too high and maybe that is where my mold is coming From im starting to see it coming from the drain holes on the bottom of my pot. I’m going to get a dehumidifier and see how that works. Also I attempted lst to both plants . The doc og is a week older and definitely bigger than the apples and bananas but but are coming along nicely.

This plant has recovered from nutrient deficiency and is growing great. Doing lst everyday and plant is responding great. This is going to be a big girl. Still no signs of flower. The other NL from growers choice I grew took forever to flower also. Monday update - did a little defoliation. Looks a little thin. Should get fuller in a few days

Good morning all. Rather nice week with a correct stretch for each lady, except the Jamaican which, as usual, continues its slow growth in bonsai mode. A big thank you to PEV SEEDS who, graciously, agreed to send me a new seed so that I could try the adventure again with the Jamaican Lambsbread. (I will certainly have special attention towards her ...) So I decided to remove it from the flowering box to try to re-vegetation to try to save it and give it a new life as a mother .;) The wedding Cake clearly displays an Indica predominance, solid, bushy but with a reduced internodal distance. So I had to raise the pot by about thirty cm in order to obtain a homogeneous canopy and to be able to train it a little. Same principle for Thay Chocolate 2019 (heightened by 15cm) which, despite the long and thin very sativa leaves, seems to have started flowering more calmly. I took advantage of the departure of the Jamaican to also remove the 2 main branches. Sideral and Golden Goat, nothing to say, good growth. Ditto for Congo which continues to show us its superb genetics. I start to introduce a tear of green sensation but I limit the nitrogen because none is deficient. The Mars Hydro TS1000 works quite well but I think that for 1m2 it would be necessary to have 2. The flowering started slowly and the 150W Led are in my opinion the cause of this slowness. 300W would have been ideal. We will see later to fix this problem. The news of the week: The cold is here! big drop in temperature here for two days. Monday I install a small radiator to guarantee a warm and cozy cocoon for the girls. P.S. the water drops visible in the photos are remnants of the Vita Race foliar treatment applied this morning. There, I think I've done everything. Have a good week.

There's another week of flowering done for the GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower and she is just about ready to be harvested which will, from the looks of her trichomes, will be in the next 4-5 days... Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending on my photos and cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. Also all close up pics of the Critical+ are with the lights off and flash on. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. The plants structure has become more sturdy and have seen development of more side branches developing I have topped both side branches at the 2nd node as didn’t want to top main bud site and have been doing light defoliation of the bigger fan leaves hoping to see more development and have seen a development in the lower 2 sets of side branches and have seen more development in the top section of the plant too

Been a smooth week for the gelat og. I am loving her node spacing and branch structure. She is building some buds and doing her thing. I gave her a 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. Started them on some liquid Koolbloom. Just going to keep the lights beaming and the juice pumping. Nutrients per gallon .75 tsp maxibloom .2 tsp liquid koolbloom .5 tsp calimagic .25 tsp armor si .1 tsp 90/10 humic/fulvic acid

Progressing nicely, after a rough two weeks. Flushed her with Ph water and she came back nicely. Yellowing and a few crispy leaves way under her skirt. Her buds are small but plentiful.

Day 83 - 03/06/23 - Harvested Northern Lights #1

Day 43-Im waiting just a little longer to flower because she's in my veg tent with no room in my flower tent. If I wait another week or so I can switch this VEG tent into flowering lights. She is a beat! I started to defoliate the inner leaves and did some minor LST my twisty tying the main stocks to the cage. I wanted to "open" her up and get the small branches some light to grow during this veg period. Having a lot of fun with this plantl so far! Day 44-2 feet tall as of today 💪. she has surpassed her step sister(bag seed rando that's actually a phenomenal plant) even with multiple toppings. She is a true work horse IMO. I have 2 very healthy clones taken from her and I am planning on taking 2 more for mothers . Excited to keep her genetics alive to possible breed with this summer. I picked up some original NL#5xHaze seeds from swami I want to breed with this cheese. would be crazy. Day 46- Found a cool branch with three new bud sites coming from one node which was a first for me! Fed with NFTG mid veg feed, recharge, and Mammoth P. Defoliated a few more leaves that I thought blocked light to much from getting to the under growth. I want to focus on growing out the middle of the plant for one more week before throwing it into flower.

Weather has been much better this week. Put in some nematodes to try and regulate on some fungus gnats. No feeding yet this week. Topped the Deep Purple this week, and took a little to much off the top lol 😂 but should be quite all right. Gonna start some LST this next week. Super fun and grow on 🤙🏻

Just water the past week to save on nutes. I think this is the final week for the two Green Gelato plants. I will post trichomes later but I see at least 5 percent amber but I'll have to make sure it's not sugar leaves. Royal Gorilla is still waaaaaay behind, I'm gonna chuck a couple of autos in while that finishes since they don't mind the different lights too much. Not sure what I'm gonna grow next proper tho lol. Thinking something from Barney's again.

Gg is about ready to harvest looking to harvest sometime this weekend (5/7-5/10). Everything else still has a few more weeks at least.
