Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. This Purple Punch didn't break soil until 4 days from getting wet. I ended up with a slightly mutated Purple Punch Seedling as she has 3 Cotyledons instead of 2. I have friends who have had this and they told me they turned out just fine yield and terp wise just really based more on the phenotype than the fact that it was genetically mutated. She is in a Solo Cup in ProMix/Perlite under the Spectrum X at 30% Power which is 230 Watts in V1 or Veg Mode. Very happy so far with the light as it is keeping all nodes tight and all leafs green and pointed upwards. I will also this Purple Punch's roots to fill the solo cup and then I will transplant her into a final 3.4 gallon airpot and hook her up to an auto feeding halo coming from a reservoir. When a plants roots are just fertigated in soil they are lacking in oxygen until some drying takes place. In Coco Coir, they have the perfect ratio of H20/Oxygen just after watering and as long as the Coir stays somewhat saturated. This is why high frequency fertigation pays off in coco coir. My plan is to top her one time by day 28 or so at the latest, or at least before she starts flowering, so whatever node that will be depends on her growth between now and then. cant say nothing big purple dense buds but yield is disappointment

2/28: Amnesia has some yellowing of the leaves that appeared around about 12 hours before my usual every-3-day feedings and after I started to defoliating some of the previous yellow leaves from the previous accidental lack of water. I'm not sure if it is progressing, or it's just because I'm dialing in the watering schedule and she's using the nutrients in the extra, fatter, lower leaves. I've increased Amnesia's light distance to 16 inches and am lowering the humidity to stick between 60-70% RH with the automatic fan set to remove excess humidity near the higher end of that range. Fresh air fan blowing around the tent and into the 2 lower vents. Smells like a fresh garden outside of the tent, however smells green when the tent is opened. Not a strong green smell, but mildy recognizable. 3/1: Welp, it's worsened, and has shown itself in both plants now. Since they share the same environment and nutrients, I suspect this to be a nutrient issue. Trainwreck was known for potentially having excess Nitrogen as shown by the extremely bushy growth, dark green leaves, and downward curling leaf-tips. However, Trainwreck is now no longer exhibiting those symptoms, and has lightened up and is stretching. But! Trainwreck is showing signs of potassium deficiency, with brown spots appearing on upper leaves. The same goes for Amnesia, brown spots have migrated their way to upper leaves. I'm thinking a banana tea will be good for them, so I've got a couple large banana peels steeping in the pump sprayer for this evenings watering. My conclusions: 1. Nutrient burn hitting Amnesia hard, but Trainwreck is riding it out from its stored excesses. 2. Both are lacking some potassium now that they're beefing up in flowering stage. Edit: I've decided to add a quarter-strength nutrient to this banana tea so as to not completely flush out the remaining nutrients. I believe that would leave her starved in between her next feeding, in 3-4 days from now. 3/2: Welp! That made it worse! Time to test the PH of my soil. If the PH is too far in one direction or the other, certain nutrients will be locked out. I've ordered a PH meter instead of these PH testing drops. I didn't know that the difference between 6.0 and 6.5 would be so drastic, but with that said, I need to be more precise about my PH levels if I want to maximize these nutrients. Until the PH meter gets delivered tomorrow I may, if my research says that I should, flush with plain water ph'd water to try to flush out salts and try to get the PH back to 6.5 where it needs to be. Edit: I do not believe this to be overfeeding, as I would expect nutrient burn on the tips of all leaves, but there are colas that are completely unaffected by the recent feedings. However, if the PH is off, and I suspect it is, individual deficiencies will pop up and affect the leaves differently. The other plant, trainwreck, which was planted later, may have contained less Ocean Forest nutrients from the top of the bag, and also more Happy Frog; so it's riding out these issues just fine. 3/4: The discoloring on Amnesia has not spread to any other leaves. I've done a little bit of defoliating on the yellow and crispy leaves. Looks like they're already being replaced. I've got my ph meter now, and doing a slurry test came out 6.4 on the top inch of soil, the only soil I could get to without ripping up the roots. Either way, I'm doing to be certain to PH tonight's feeding (half strength) perfectly to 6.5, as opposed to trying my best using PH testing drops, which is almost impossible! Trainwreck is getting some spots on her leaves, so she'll be ready for her feeding tomorrow.

Day 24: 600 W LED Light schedule 24/6, ventilation is the same +15 min after the lamp switches off. Water: 50ml per plant so 2x 25 ml per day per plant. Fertilization with bat guano and the same amount of water on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. They grow nicely! Someone commented that it looks more magnesium deficiency problem instead of burning so suggested me to add Epsom salt to the water. I ordered Epsom salt so I will give it a go! Thank you! I still believe that I put too close the lamp so it was related to it also but I can see spots on the lower leaves so there is magnesium problem here as well. By the way, they look now beautiful! Blue Sherbet S1 is slower a bit but it is Sativa. Day 25: They started growing rapidly. Day by day they are getting bushy and growing nicely. Day 26: Epsom salt has arrived. I will start feeding them with it. I will mix one tablespoon with 50 ml water 2x a day and I will do it on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Day 27: As I mentioned in my other diary the last 3 days was crazy hot especially today in London 38 degrees. In my tent, there are 32-32.5 degrees. Luckily, I have direct ventilation on the plants so they won't feel that much heat, but it is crazy... anyways They are getting really bushy and keep growing. I can see some yellow pots but started feeding properly them with Epsom salt and bat guano. Day 29: I retrained (LST) they so tried to spread the sides and bend more the main stamp and also changed their position so I placed them to a different corner. Day 30: It looks like that the Epson salt is good they look better green also now I just damage some leaves as I retrained them. Tomorrow starts the 5th week where I will do some Topping to them except to the Blue Sherbet S1 because it is quite small for that. I will use only LST and FIMing for her.

Hello Diary. Finished and the third week of flowering, Haze Berry looks really impressive. Tall and stocky :). 😎 The flowers apparently bloom and begin to cover entire branches. The smell is not as intense as that of his roommate Fat Banana, but on my small farm there is a real fruit fantasy. 😋 In the Growbox to his left is his brother, another Haze Berry who is a little late but by all accounts will not catch up with his big brother. Watering is approximately every three days when I prepare 7 liters of water and with that amount evenly water all three plants. I preventively add CalMg and add BioBizz every other time. Here’s what he looked like all week. 02/11/2020 - Day 39. Watering. I added BioBizz and prevention CalMg. p.H. I adjusted to 6.5 with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 26.7 degrees and 42% humidity. 05/11/2020 - Day 42. Photographing and watering. This time I just regulated p.H. at 6.4 and I didn’t add anything else. The plants look really beautiful so I took photos on a black background at the beginning of flowering. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.6 degrees and 41% humidity. Things are trucking along nice and fast. Buds visibly bigger by the day. Nice trichome development going on. Not much smell unless you agitate them and they go crazy.

LST a las ramas inferiores. Día 30 (17/06) La planta crece muy bien. Los brotes del nudo 4 ya superan ampliamente donde se ha hecho el topping. Inspirado en @deFharo, hago mulching con corteza de pino para evitar la evaporación por las altas temperaturas que tengo en la terraza.
