Busy week this week, both in the garden and in life, hence the later update than usual. Early week gave the girls a good leaf stripping on the inside of the plants. Also removed any scraggly growth that was not getting any sun. As usual really helped open them up to more airflow and light penetration. At start couldn't even see the sun through them! Next day both looked great with no visible signs of stress. Now I'll say it was a VERY hot week this week, daytime highs 32°C feeling like 42°C with 90% humidity and the girls were thirsty AF, dropping heavy every night, . Watering every evening, hose on full soaker setting for 3 minutes per plant, roughly 35 liters of water each! Even with all the water, the bigger plant was looking sad, and I had a sneaking suspicion that it just did not have enough root space. So I tuned into my inner MacGyver again, and came up with a solution. Using no nails or screws, I was able to fashion a 3x3 bed for her! All thanks to growing on plastic skids. Just slid 2x4 PT into the slots in a 3x3 square, and then slid 1/2" PT sheet (cut to size) on the inside of the wood. Afterwords cut the fabric pot, and lay it down to make the perfect base inside the new bed to prevent soil from coming out. Topped it up with three wheel barrow of garden soil that I had left from the spring load, watered and hoped my idea worked. The next day, she's looking happier than ever, and I haven't seen a droopy leaf on her since! Now she's really ready to bring on some serious bud weight. Mentioning that, I also added the second layer of horizontal trellis, as well as vertical trellis around the smaller plant. Temps look cooler for the next two weeks, and not much of any rain forecast, even though we desperately need it. At least with forecast being 25°C highs and 10°C lows the girls should slow down on water intake, trying to conserve where we can right now but got a keep them fed. Until next week!

week 6 officially started, leaves are starting to get a little yellow on the right plant which is a lil worrying, trichomes on the left plant look insane so far, smell is pungent at this point, other than the yellow leaves the grow is growing really easy

It’s a bit sad to realize that "Autumn" has officially arrived. The trichomes have gone cloudy, the leaves are fading, and I’m out here wiping away a tear. This girl, whom I’ve been spending every day with for almost half a year, is finally wrapping up her cycle. Well, it’s been a beautiful ride, and Think Fast proved to be an incredibly strong and resilient strain. I’ll break down my full thoughts and review of the genetics during harvest week. By the way, the next update will drop right after the dry, I know you guys are all waiting to see the final dry weight. But for now, it's time to flush. The lights are dialed down a bit, the reservoir is filled with pure RO water, and my heart is filled with pure, bittersweet blues. Don't lose track of me, we’ll meet again in about 15 days! Mid flower flush with molasses...buds are swelling....rainfall continues in what suppose to be dry season, maybe because full 🌕 is next week.

This week was marked by stable climate control and healthy plant response after the recent transplant. The SCROG net was maintained, and light defoliation was performed on the larger plant to open up the canopy. The smaller plant, though bushy, was left mostly intact to avoid over-stressing after transplant. Both plants showed daily leaf movement — reaching for the light during the day and relaxing at night — a sign of good turgor and rhythm. Environmental conditions stayed well within target, with VPD averaging around 1.14 kPa during the day and 0.92 kPa at night. On Sunday, a corrective action was taken to address minor color variations: the feed was adjusted to include the full bloom-phase nutrient mix at 75 % strength. Spoiler: within 24 hours, the color balance already started to improve. Reason for transplanting the smaller plant: The smaller Special Queen was transplanted from an 11 L fabric pot into an AutoPot system to ensure more consistent watering and nutrient delivery during the bloom stretch. The original pot was starting to dry out unevenly, which risked fluctuations in moisture and root zone health. By moving it into the AutoPot setup, we aimed to stabilize its environment, promote steady root expansion, and allow it to keep pace with the larger plant under the SCROG. The transplant was carried out carefully to minimize root disturbance, and the plant showed no signs of transplant shock in the following days.

The other 3 GDP went through a flush today. Zkittlez was flushed. The very first GDP flushed in the 24th got flushed a 2nd time alongside the other 3 GDP. I’m still eyeballing to see when Runtz will be “ ready “. Finally got my dry box slapped together, DIY TIL I DIE BABY. Still it came out well for a first try. Heat ran out of control & I learned the HARD way why we don’t let our girls hang out above 85 for extended periods of time. I kinda had some severe foxtailing going on. Just biding my time until harvest , fingers crossed I don’t mess this last leg of the race up I’d be distraught . UPDATE : Lastly I found an area of BUD ROT on Runtz not knowing that’s what I had found the dust got flung in the air twice sooooo there’s spores in my tent & possibly on all my plants now . Trouble is I’ve flushed 5/10 plants & watered 5 others in the tent so humidity is super high. I’ve added in an additional dehumidifier because it is riding at 70%-80% . Within 3 mins of adding additional dehumidifier & opening tent doors as we as pointing circulatory fans at plants instead of the grow lights overall humidity dropped from 73% to 53% & still declining . Hopefully this is enough to keep the other 9 plants healthy & im going to have to harvest Runtz without Flushing . All handled LST really well + SCROG net is up for next week. Flipping to 12/12 this week after a defol + taking clones of each plant for my Phenohunt (Looking for bud with the most bag appeal EX: purple/blues and golden colours that are not usually seen + a good strain to grow in a scrog)

Heute ist ein aufregender Tag im Zelt! Meine beiden Hybriden Brain Damage und High Mars scheinen sich unter den Mars Hydro FC 1500 Lampen pudelwohl zu fühlen. Die Blätter sind sattgrün und kräftig, ein Zeichen für die optimale Nährstoffversorgung durch das Hesi Hydro Zuchtschema. Der pH-Wert liegt bei perfekten 6,2 und der EC-Wert bei 1,7. Die Temperatur im Zelt ist mit 25 Grad etwas höher als ideal, aber die Klimaanlage läuft auf Hochtouren, um sie zu senken. Auch die Luftfeuchtigkeit von 65 % ist noch etwas zu hoch, aber der Luftentfeuchter ist bereits aktiv. Die beiden Ventilatoren sorgen für eine gute Luftzirkulation im Zelt. Heute Abend wird es dann noch mal spannend, wenn der Chiller für die Wassertemperatur eintrifft. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich die beiden Damen in den nächsten Tagen entwickeln werden!

Fed compost tea on Wednesday with added Bio Pk. She is still really bulking up and throwing out new pistils everywhere. She will be getting harvested shortly, first I will be chopping Stilton Special then Toof Decay then following that it’ll be Stilton.

Week 1 of the Purple Lemonade journey! She’s officially out in the wild and taking in those first few days of natural light. It’s always a nerve-wracking but exciting phase, but she’s looking healthy and vibrant so far. Keeping it simple this week—no training, no nutrients, just letting her natural hybrid vigor take the lead. Other than giving her shelter form the rain she is at the mercy of mother nature in Northern Ontario Zone 3. Big things ahead! Grown directly in Gaia Green living soil with some worm castings, all purpose 444 and power bloom.

Harvest day 67 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 16-18 degrees and 55-59% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste. .
