It's the third week for the ladies and they're thriving! They're all showing signs of small pistils and smelling nicely. I've started training them lightly and they all seem to respond great. Nothing to complain about for now, we're now in the middle of the heat wave and somehow I'm managing. I need to get the air filter and a vent as soon as possible, they will need a proper air movement soon and I have to keep the smell under control :)

In Tamara her 13 week I prepare her for the Harvest in the next week. Only water no nutrients and lower light. Her night is 2 hours longer. And she … she start with purple her flowers… what a present. I hope the Trichome Check next week will Call Harvest 😉

1/28/24 - Day 83 - Here we are on day 83 and the trichomes are looking good. I bet one week, if not two weeks before I start to flush with water. There are some photos of the Trichomes a couple of weeks ago and then again today. 1/31/24 - Day 86 - The buds are starting to get FAT and grow outward. Tons of new buds coming from the buds. Sounds werid but the buds are growing buds now. The smell is out of this planet strong. Im looking forward to the next couple of weeks!

Hey all! 👋 This week is when most of my plants deficiencies started to show, specially on Matcha 😢so to try to fix this problem I decided to use Revive from Advanced Nutrients on both plants (there were some slight indications that Pistachio might be suffering from some of these issues as well) and since last time it worked amazingly well I just decided to do it... and it seems it did its magic! The changes started to become more obvious near the end of the week when finally Matcha started to grow, so I'm happy! Also, since Pistachio is growing well I decided to do some LST on her as well and she took it without problems 😍 I also believe this issue is a mix of nitrogen deficiency and magnesium (mostly this) and I suppose that's because of the heat that's inside the tent and because I'm feeding my plants with bottled water (different brand) that's probably low on that mineral. In my previous grow I used to add tap water to the mix but the water where I used to live was better so I fear that I might end doing more harm than good if I use this water to feed the plants 😵if the issues continues tho I'll get a bottle of Cal Mag and see if things improve. Also, this week's timelapse is long! I barely moved the plants and thanks to that I managed to make a long video. I hope you'll all enjoy it 😁 Thanks for reading! ;)

11/3 - Today was the first day of week 5 and also the first day I could see a visibly measurable decrease in her water level between check-ins (~12 hours apart). As a result of her drinking so much water in such a short time, the ppms shot up to almost 800. I used straight tap (7.5 pH, 170ppm) to adjust since her pH was also measuring 5.3. I adjusted her with this method until she registered 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would prefer for her pH to be a bit higher (5.8, ideally), but I will settle with this for now since the water is back to just touching the basket. Over the last couple days I've been adjusting her LST to help her bush up as much as possible. I can already see the heavy Sativa influence in her compared to her sister in the tent. I can't wait to see what she will throw at me. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 650ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. week 2: I filled up the pots because the plants were a little long but now they are more stable, the light is now from 25% to 50%. All in all I’m pretty happy with the plants 🌱 (:

Today the girls are 17 days old and are looking great and growing fast. I performed LST last week for the first time, i decided to get rid of the bend and let them grow upwards. Im currently bending the branches to encourage them to grow outwards. I also use the ponytailing technique. By tying the uppergrowth in a ponytail 5 hours a day you maximize the light penetration. I repeat this process 3 to 4 days in a row The girls had their first feeding of Canna Terra Vega at 0.5ml p/L and are loving it so far.

I chopped the Glookies on day 70F, on day 74F I decided to chop the remaining GMO and Acapulco Gold. I didn't feed or water the last week as the soil was still pretty moist and I wanted to harvest soon-ish anyways, they faded quickly in the last few days.
