This week has been all about shaping the plant. I’ve learned from last that the colas weren’t the same height, because I let the plant do it’s things with just a bit of training. Now I know what to look for so I’m trying my hardest. I top dressed this week with crab meal, Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4, insect frass, kelp meal, bone meal, azomite, and covered it with a healthy serving of worm castings (about an inch to 2 inches). All of which was sprinkled on all the chopped and dropped leaves/branches. I believe in adding biomass to soil, especially for an indoor growing who is money conscious. Doing that can help save me money going back to the store for more soil.

Today, I spent some time tying down branches under the net again. It’s still a tricky task as the branches are quite brittle and break easily. Fortunately, the plants recover quickly, and so far, I’ve mainly noticed new growth sprouting from where the branches broke. Watering Experiment: Too Much or Just Right? Two days ago, I decided to give each plant an additional 2 liters of water to test the effects of what felt like overwatering. The results were interesting: High Humidity: The relative humidity spiked to 74%, which I consider a minor downside. Lower Temperature: Dropped to 29°C. Explosive Growth: The plants responded with vigorous growth! Given the humidity increase, I’ve decided to water the plants heavily only once a week. This approach should give them time to rest and prevent the growth of more mushrooms in the soil—yes, I’ve spotted a few popping up from the pot’s surface. Monitoring pH and Nutrient Reservoir I’ve also noticed that the pH has crept up to 6.2, indicating that the nutrient water hardness is decreasing. This suggests it might be time for a full reservoir refresh. Tonight, I plan to inspect the reservoir and clean it out. Thankfully, my hydro pump makes draining it a quick and easy process. Observations & Next Steps Continue training and monitoring branch recovery. Stick to the adjusted watering schedule. Refresh the nutrient reservoir and recalibrate the pH if needed. The grow is progressing nicely, and the plants seem happy despite some of the challenges. The Blue Dream is a plant with a very short internodal distance, at least this type that we found is reacting by remaining small, but the brunches are moving forward and I also bend them. Remember that we are growing 1 Plant worked with the techniques and one left to grow without cutting techniques with a bit of LST. In this diary we find the plant that is growing with this mainlining: topping third internode, wait 3 internodes doing LST, Topping again, LST on brunches. My Rainbow Saltz plant is really taking off! I had to remove a lagging branch, but ever since then, it's just exploded with new growth. It's got these beautiful, vibrant leaves and the buds are starting to get nice and frosty. I'm getting a sweet, fruity aroma with a hint of spice – it's gonna be a good one!" This past week has been a whirlwind of work, leaving little time for anything else. My phone's camera roll is sadly neglected, with only a few snapshots to show for it. But finally, I'm finding a moment to catch up on my grow diaries. It's been exciting to see the progress, even if it's just through photos. I'm looking forward to documenting the next stage!

This week I saw rapid growth The plays seem to be taking the high ec very well. They don't really have any smell yet. Some of the branches grow horizontally into the other plants at the same time the plants that grow like this aren't stretching up. I guess those are bushier pheno. Looks like they're going to be heavy. So far so good 😊

8/22 - There has been some explosive growth among my 4 purple Microdots. They are growing by leaps and bounds each day, 8/23 - So far everything is going smoothly. Just watering each day w/ RO water and organic black strap molasses. 8/24 - Brewing up some compost tea. This will be there first! As they start to get a little bigger I've made a prediction for sex. I think A238 & A239 are male and A240 & A241 are female. We'll see! 8/25- Fed the ladies with the compost tea and used it as a foliar spray as well. They responded very well and continue to have crazy, rapid, growth. 8/27 - They have gotten so big and bushy. I'm going to start a little LST on them today! 8/30 - They are starting to show sex! Still can't tell whether it's male or female...but it should be any day now!

She grew 17cm this week. Over doubled her height. Lets see what she does in the next couple of weeks. I note she got a LOT bushier. Also her leaves are VERY broad and indica like for such a sativa strain! 😶

I really enjoyed watching the ladies grow.i just sprayed again against bugs.but did not see anymore damage by bugs..so ecocure seems to work.one was really infected at so cut some away.the focus is really on the other one.maked her a grid so I can tie the buds when they getting big and hopefully heavy.this is a strong strain. I'm impressed by the way she bounces back from root problems do to wrong container and heat.also bugs.Also broke main stem at top. Started bloom so I give grow and bloom nutritions.cannacure is hopefully preventing molds..

Day 3 of flower & these ladies are stretching great! We are having a bit of a calmag Deficiency right now but currently in the process of trying to fix it so hopefully they bounce back! The Gelato OG from seedsman is a monster to only be 42 days old not sure if I just got a good pheno or what happened but compared to the other gelato beside it from the same bag it looks like a completely different plant! Can’t wait to see how the buds turn out! Day 76 - I was on holiday all this week so not many daily photos, was able to gather the Energy the day after I come home to give them there proper defoliation at the end of week 3. No complaints or problems as of yet with the strain very easy to grow with little maintenance

Vegetation Phase - Week 4 The Donutz ladies are cruising through Week 4 in style, with no major changes to their routine. Simplicity is the key: just consistent care, reverse osmosis water, and keeping the vibes steady in the tent. Growth is strong and steady, with no signs of stress or issues. Updates & Maintenance: Watering: Still exclusively using RO water. No overwatering, just light and consistent hydration as needed. Lollipopping: The plants got a little cleanup this week. Lower growth was trimmed back again, keeping the stems neat and focusing energy on the upper canopy. This helps maintain that signature Sea of Green look and primes the plants for fat main colas later. Observations: The plants are uniform, healthy, and stacking nicely. Each one is starting to show its individual character, but they’re all working toward that tight SOG canopy. Marienkäfer buddy is still around, keeping the ecosystem in balance. No pest issues, no drama. Next Steps: It’s all about staying steady and letting the Donutz do their thing. The lollipopping ensures the plants are focused on upward growth, and the stable environment in the tent is creating the perfect conditions for success. Week 5 is around the corner, and everything’s looking set for these plants to keep stacking up!
