Got the Spider Farmer wicking system set up with a reservoir. Up until now I’ve been using purchased pure water since it came with a better starting pH than my tap. After running the numbers, the cost of hauling jugs didn’t make sense long term. I ended up grabbing an RV water inline filter for the garden hose, which strips out most of the chlorine and other contaminants I was worried about. Goal was mostly a stable water source because the girls are getting thirsty; I still prefer hand-watering to wet and activate the top dress. Access is only from one side of the 5×5, so as they bulk up I’m learning the back two are a chore to reach. The wicking pads help keep things even between rounds, but I’m still going in by hand to finish the job. Did a defoliation pass; airflow and light paths improved, but I may need to push it a bit further because I don’t want a lot of larf. Crazy how much plant material I pulled off but they seem fine. Light feels like the current yield limiter. The SF4000 is solid but a touch undersized for full 5×5 penetration, the lower canopy isn’t getting what I want. I’m eyeing a higher-wattage bar style light for better edge uniformity and deeper PAR at canopy. I’ve been testing edge light saturation with the SpiderF PPFD sensor at canopy height. Center readings are strong but the corners and long edges are clearly lacking. Smaller tent or smaller plants another option maybe. Im at 100% on my light and will be for the rest of the grow just raising it to keep distance. Plants look happy overall. The Durban Cookies is standing out, taller and more vigorous than the 10th Planets especially for being a week younger than the rest. I am guessing it will be harvested first just by stretch speed alone. The 10th Planets R1s all have a pretty even canopy going but showing stretch. Wicking system + hand-water combo is keeping the media right where I want it, and the top dress from last week is kicking in. Reminding everyone this is my first grow. Hoping for a pound dry, but I won’t be greedy. Keeping my expectations realistic! Thanks for following along.

Let’s go Day 36 !!! This week went real great, girls built up a lot of structure, and stayed super healthy ! Today they got fed just water phd at 6.5 ! They been really loving that balance! I also removed a lot of under trim since we are going into preflower , so had to shave up those legs lol ! It’s really great for them , the love that airflow , but don’t take off too much or you could shock your plants so be careful ! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! This week brought some challenges—I discovered thrips on the leaves of my plant. Thankfully, the infestation isn’t too severe yet, and I acted quickly to address the issue: 1. Sprayed the plant with plain water to knock off any pests. 2. Removed the top layer of soil. 3. Applied BioBizz Leaf Coat as a protective measure. I really hope this will help. After reading up on these nasty pests, I learned that they can completely devastate the leaves if left unchecked. Unfortunately, I have only myself to blame for their appearance. Due to the cold weather, I’ve been using a heater in the room with my growbox, which has caused the humidity to drop significantly. It sometimes dips as low as 30%, and it rarely goes above 50%. Most of the time, the humidity hovers around 35-40%, which is an ideal breeding ground for thrips. To answer the obvious question—yes, I do have a humidifier. However, my growbox has a very powerful exhaust fan (315 m³/h for an 80x80 space), so the air is refreshed too quickly for the humidifier to make a lasting difference. Aside from fighting thrips, I also made some adjustments to my grow this week. On Day 20, I did a little LST. Honestly, I wasn’t planning on using any training techniques in this grow, but I decided to give it a try anyway. One thing I can say for sure—I want to skip LST in my next grow. It’s quite inconvenient to water the plant when the leaves are practically touching the soil. Additionally, I defoliated the first two sets of leaves. I felt this was necessary to improve airflow around the plant and reduce the risk of pests spreading further. Watering: Day 17: 400 ml Day 20: 500 ml I’m keeping a close eye on the plant and hope to overcome these challenges successfully.

I mean this genetics it's excellent ... if I would grow zombie kush again ... good job ripper seed ... she fought and was very strong against the plagues after a beginning outdoors ... she fought against the white fly. worms .. red spider and other insects ... and deserves your recognition ... it will not be the most beautiful plant with its leaves impeccable ... but she is a champion ... thank you ripper seed .. .

18/10 - comienza su quinta semana en etapa de floracion. Su evolución fue muy rapida, apenas entro en flora cambio totalmente la planta. Los cocos están perfectos, super resinosos con olor muy fuerte. El banco de semillas recomienda que este en flora de 8 a 9 semanas. Seguramente la deje hasta la semana 8. Esta bastante avanzada. No tuve problemas en ninguna etapa. Sin dudas es una genetica que volvera a cultivar. Cabe aclarar que esta planta genera mucha resina por que es ideal para extracciones. Sunday last day of week 11 expecting to cut it down fed banana, molasses, and honey for a final flush with ice, Friday final ice flush. In the dark for 12 hours then cut down for harvest

June 22: nice weather has finally arrived, and the plant is at the perfect growth stage to take advantage of warm 17 hours of sunlight days. She’s started into the “inch per day” vegetative growth stage which is always fun. She had compost tea yesterday morning and is looking really good right now. Cool spring has likely slowed growth but she’s ready to rock now with the arrival of nice weather. June 22: tied down with SCROG net attached to bag with large clips. Trying to keep the Eight growth tips at the same elevation and exposed to sun. June 24: tie down seems to have worked as there’s now 8 nice colas forming and lots of time to go for 16 before starting flowering in mid-July. June 25: looking good. Watered with some soluble seaweed extract and molasses. June 26: final round of topping to get 16 growth tips. Removed and replaced scrog net but still clipped to edge of bag. Seems fine for now and will readjust as the 16 colas form.

Alright so we on the start of a new week . A few things got adjusted last week height of the lamp , strength of my lamp , the nutrient regime has changed a little bit alternating between voodoo/b52 and Opti A&B/Cal mag . We also changed the lights to 12-12 so essentially this is a 12-12 from seed grow , I've always wanted to see the results so here we go :) I'd like to thank everyone that stops into the diary's both daily and weekly to check out the updates you guys are awesome keep on keeping on ! **5/2** So I've been absent from the log for about a week, I'm sorry to those that check up on my grows. It wont happen again promise lol. Well it looks like the NL and Chem are suffering from N toxicity and possibly a Cal/Mag deficiency, where the PL has signs of Cal/Mag deficiency as well. I will be adding just a bit more this week each feed. I usually do a nutes and Cal/Mag feed then a water and Cal/Mag feed. Chemdawg is stacking up the trichomes on each nug site and shes at day 51, smells kinda citrusy. The Northern Lights is at day 52 and in last place in terms of flower only a small amount of trichomes on 1 or 2 nugs. Where as the Purple Lemonade is at day 46 and these nugs are getting CHUNKY while also putting out trichomes, with a slight rub she gives off a strong fruity/berry aroma. **5/7** Looks like Northern Lights is a slow girl, I'm not mad just my impatient self wanting to see her in her glory. Ahh the Chemdawg is packing on some weight and looks very chunky, shes smelling sweet too. Well I didnt get the desirable purple pheno Purple Lemonade seems more towards the Lemonade side, but she has many great golf ball like nugs that are still growing.
