Buds are fattening up pretty well and I've had to use more rubber garden wire and clips to keep the branches from bending over. Smell is increasing on the Northern Light but still a mild skunk on the Black Devil. Also gave the very last feeding on the plants this week so they will get nothing but water until the chop. I'm very happy with the microbe populations so I stopped feeding the sugars (molasses/agave) as the plants themselves don't get much out of them; that stuff is just for feeding the soil beasties. I had added some predatory mites several weeks ago to deal with some springtails, and the mites annihilated the population. I did find a developing larva though so there are still some around. Posted lots of microscope videos today.

In this first cycle published on the site, I did the ScrOG technique for the first time, and honestly I am quite happy with the final result😊 The plants performed very well both in vegetation and in the flowering phase.👌 The only "anomaly" was a beautiful flower affected by fasciation (called "Stewie" by me😄) I hope you enjoyed this diary and that it will be useful for you in the future!😎

They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! So the flowers are bigger, the smell is really in a sweet direction and the girls have now been defoliated, but unfortunately I think to see male flowers let's see what the time results 😕 dont like Problems 😡

Week 1 of flower for White Widow by Greenhouseseedco Fed her 2.7g of BioBloom per L of soil, watered that in and flipped it to flower 24hours ago. As more room opens up in the tent ill spread her out a little more. Also wont be defoliating unless necessary as I'm trying to bring up the humidity a little.

Auto Moon Rock is growing great. She had a slow start, but is making progress now. She sprouted her first pistils today ot yesterday. She got some lst and selective defoliation done. She is looking good. Hey all! i started doing the LST training a little bit to late but will still LST em and you have probably noticed that in the diary is only 2 plants and not 3 like on the pictures, that is because one did not really like the late LST haha so i cut her down and throw here away sadly but yea what else can ya do haha😅 happy growing all!😎✌️💚

My permanent marker plants are looking really interesting! The short and stocky one with the purple leaves is super vibrant. I love that pop of color against the green of the other plants. It's a little different from the taller plant, which has this really cool stacked-up look to it. I'm curious to see if those stacked-up leaves will change color too. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

8/19/23 - Day 67 - Things are still looking good. We just had a water change. A couple more weeks! 8/21/23 - OK, ok ok, we have a lot of work coming up. Right now is like the calm before the storm. The storm I'm talking about is harvest, trimming, drying, and curing. This is the kind of labor that you LOVE to HATE. Especially with how many buds ill be pulling from this LEAF box. Let's talk about progress real fast. She is getting bulkier every day. Overnight she drank about 300+ ppm of nutes. She likes the nutes a lot. I'm taking this as a reason for all the little snowy crystals and the enlargement of the buds. Flushing: For about a week before harvest I will empty the water+Nutes and refill only with Water. We want the plant to suck up and replace all the nutes in the buds with water. This is called flushing. Trimming plans and Tools: When it's time to trim the plant, I've got a plan in mind. I'm going to trim the buds while they're still wet, and I'll leave them attached to the stems. To simplify the drying process, I will split the LEAF into two parts – the top and the bottom. Since space is a bit tight in the LEAF with this grow, I will keep just the buds on the branches. This will help the air circulate the buds better. I've even found this cool trimming tray on Amazon that I'm planning to use. I've realized that having the right tools for trimming is essential. Just like I'd put on gloves to work on a car, I will use nitrile gloves to keep things clean while trimming. And I'll use proper trimming scissors instead of regular ones. These scissors are designed for this job and should make the process much smoother. Amazon - Trimming Tray - (somewherr brand pictured above) Amazon - Nitrile Gloves Amazon - Trimming Scissors Drying Plans and Tools: Once I'm done trimming, it's time to dry the buds. I'm thinking of using simple tension rods, like those small shower curtain rods, to hang the branches. This way, I can create two levels inside the drying box. The lower part can rest on a SCROG net to ensure good airflow and even drying for all the branches. The LEAF box will handle the drying parameters. The environment inside the LEAF box will focus only on keeping the humidity at 60% and moving the air around getting the buds to a non-mildew amount of humidity. Amazon - Tension rods 16-28” Curing Plans and Tools After the buds are dry (60% humidity), the next step is curing. This means I'll be storing the buds in sealed glass jars. I've got mason jars and hygrometers to monitor humidity levels. Once the jars are filled with buds, I'll seal them and put them in an cool, dark spot. I plan to open the jars briefly every day to let in some fresh air. (15min). I'll know the curing is done when the humidity inside the jars stays around 62% during these "burps." That's when my perfectly cured buds will be ready to enjoy! Amazon - Hygrometer 12 Pack Target - 32oz Ball Mason Jars 12 Pack I use a smell-proof duffle bag. It has double zippers, and smell prof lining. The brand is www.420stock.com, and the model I use is the X-Large Trap Pax Duffle Bag. 8/23/23 - 20% more nutrients were added. She went from about 900 at the beginning of the week to about 330. Now she's back up to 500ppms. We change the water in one more day. 8/24/23 - Day 72 - It's official: I have moved the smell slider up! Holy shit, does it smell potent. I put my arm in there through the Weed forest, and when my arms came out, I was attacked by the Skunk BOSS. I had to shower and change my outfit to eliminate the smell. I did small LST to get more light to the buds. Smells really nice, I look forward growing next plant.

Feed 1 Grow 1ml, bloom 3ml, topmax 3ml. Feed 2 Alg-a -mic 3ml. Feed 3 Grow 1ml, bloom 3ml, topmax 3ml. Three feeds of 1 litre.

Everything was fine. So I started to bath each pot by using a fermentation nutrient by using beneficial bacteria, mycobacteria, some Orgatrex, different mycorrhiza's as 36 hours fermented potions with 2 liters/pot. Oh I forget to tell You, as You can see in the Video the water drops 💦 on the surfaces of their leafs @ day 23 I used Boom Boom Spray too for preparing the next stage of powerful photosynthesis by raising up my SanLights @ 300 µmol/m² s. Second video was @ day 26. I raised up a little natural CO2 from 450 ppm to 550 ppm. So they were prepared for more powerful photosynthesis coming up the next days… Critical Orange Punch and Amnesia Zkittlez showed some typical nutritional sensitivities some phenotypes of Sativa dominated strains can show @ the way to powering up the system. Light tops on the head of the leaf area. But again: “Don’t panic, it’s organic.” Also @ day 26 I started with my preferred technique of LST by mainly just pull down a little, the biggest fan leafs, so the little Life-hungry drives were able to came through and got enough homogeneous ppfd for uniform growth rate too.

Week 12 pushed the Bruce Banner plants even closer to harvest 🌸❄️ The buds gained more density and weight, and all plants looked very mature at this point. Trichome development showed that #2 and #3 were clearly entering their harvest window. Most trichomes were milky, with some amber already visible, especially on the main colas. Because of this, I decided to give them a little more time to fully ripen. #1 was still slightly behind in maturity and will remain in the tent longer, while #2 and #3 are planned for harvest soon. Due to the heavy buds, the plants needed continued support to stay upright. Despite the weight, all flowers stayed compact and healthy with no signs of rot or stress. Watering this week was kept simple with RO water + CalMag only, no additional feeding. Environment: Temp ~24°C RH ~50–55% Overall a very controlled and smooth late-flower week. The plants are clearly finishing strong, and harvest is right around the corner ✂️❄️

She’s been battling some strange P and Cal deficiencies for the last few days while thickening up, planning on taking a soil sample and flushing. Otherwise, she has been happy and healthy. Not really seeing a significant stress response from her. Feed pH 6.3, EC 1.9.
