As for what I've been doing for maintenance, I've been watching and waiting and just adding water when needed into the reservoir, should be less then 2 or 3 days by now

Fully into flower. Filling in well, smell coming along nicely (some are like lemon candy, some are a little more skunky). I had a Mars Hydro TSW2000 sitting around so I added that in between the two lights/beds which really helped to even out the PAR. Dead nuts in the middle of the beds is about 1000, the edges are about 700. Super cropped a few that were just reaching too much. Put up some trellis, I think I'm going to need the supports, and helped to spread out some of the stacks that were going to be a little too close. Did a little more defoliation. It's really just maintenance at this point (and standing there admiring and smelling over and over) Been mixing up a little organic nutrient cocktail to supplement with, using BuildASoil BuildABloom (soy protein hydrolysate, rock phosphate, gypsum, magnesium sulfate, potassium sulfate), Fermented Plant Extracts: Liquid Pumpkin Extract (Probiotically Grown Pumpkins, Clean Mountain Water, EM-1, Home Made LABS (Lactobacillus Serum), Super Cera Powder, and Molasses), BuildASoil Aloe and the Quillaja extract. I'll do a foliar spray first thing in the morning and replace the first fertigation of the day with this same mix (at the normal EC and PH level). They seem to love it and respond really well. I really want to switch over completely to organic living soil, I'm probably going to after this run, so it's fun to experiment with some of the ingredients.

Experienced explosive growth this week. I continue to LST for a low canopy.

Beginning of week.. She is doing amazing! Runoff is right where it needs to be.. leaves are looking nice and green with not so much leaf burning on the tips anymore.. new sets of leaves daily! Gonna need to lollipop a bit more. She should produce a decent harvest! So excited to see what she does in flower! So far, I've noticed that she is making some purple striped stiples at the very crown of each (future) cola! So so excited! Need to raise light up a bit.. I think she's getting over 1000 micromols at the center sine she has stretched a bit... Next day.. Whoops.. not sure how the hell she managed to stretch up to 1400+ micromols so quick.. had to raise the light quite a bit and also dim her down just a tad.. now the center is getting exactly 950 micromols in the center and around 650 - 700 micromols around the edges of the tent (footprint). Perfect! I noticed some purpling on a couple of the higher leaves.. these were the leaves getting over 1400 micromols and temps have been another lower than anticipated. So if she starts turning purple this early on, then WOW!.. She should make some pretty colorful colas! Mid week.. She really needs a haircut. She has grown a few nodes on each branch just in the last 7 days or even less. So beautiful! Humidity is being a bitch right now. Up to 70% and my dehumidifier can't even get it to drop a little.. ugh. Cold front blowing through as I type this, so hopefully it'll blow this moisture out by the end of the day. Pistols should be making a crown pretty soon! Still stretching like crazy. She still has plenty of head room for it.. but damn, I really need to get some of these leaves and lower branches out of the way. That should help bring the RH down quite a bit too.. I know she isn't THAT big, but it's still gonna take me awhile to trim her up.. kinda wondering if I could wait till next week and get it all done at once.. cuz I feel like she may need one more with the speed she's been stretching at. Next day... Went ahead and removed ALOT of foliage.. humidity should go down quite a bit.. these leaves give off a very strong skunky scent.. can't wait to see the terp action of this strain! "OoOo.. 7/5- All getting 1-1 1/4 gallon of straight well water ph'd to 6.5. Day temps are in the mid to upper 70's F, nighttime temp's 60-62 F. CO2 dropped to 600ppm for final week of flower. Supplemental UV continues from 11a-3p daily and it really shows in the trichome production and terp profiles as they're all absolute FIRE! BD is just about ready, showing 5-10% amber. 7/7- Daily regiment continues including checking trichomes, BD is ready and going to put her in the dark tonight for 48hrs. 7/9- All three remaining ladies are looking fine as hell! All getting frosty and really stacking especially, to my surprise, the Grapefruit Sour Dream Ol' Lady. She has gone crazy, stacking multiple cola's, pouring on the tricomes and has a terpene profile that is gonna be a winner! Chopped and hung BD...she's smelly very 'hashy' probably the Afghani coming out. 7/11- trichomes on the 3 remaining ladies are 90% milky/5% clear/5% amber...gonna send them into 48 dark in the tent in two more days, then chop & hang them on 7/15. 7/15- PP & GSD finished their 48hrs in the dark. Chopped and hung! Black Domina is drying well and is probably gonna be ready to trim & jar in the next 3 days for sure. Drying room is on point- Air temp: 68degF RH: 60%

I harvested on day 55 flower. She smells great and the yield looks pretty decent. super dense buds! I decided to harvest earlier- 8 weeks vs 9 weeks to get a more energetic high out of the blueberry :)

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain.
