Well, this was a proyect I had time before and then I had the possibility to do it. The proyect consisted in the "recovery" of a plant, but for that I needed a sick plant. A friend of mine had this cutting from Orange Sorbet and this plant was the only one showing symptoms of something going wrong. I told him that I could try to recover the plant at home, and after its harvested I would give him a part of the collected. He accepted because he had too many cuttings and this actually was a pain in the ass. Here is where everything starts! :)
While searching information in internet, I realized the plant had an actual deficiency in calcium and magnesium, that was the reason of the first yellow leaves. With a little of Cal Max and Bio heaven everything got cool, very grean leaves and also cutted the almost dead yellow leaves so the light could penetrate better. If you zoom, you can see that I tried to open the arms of the plants also for the light to penetrate better. This was the last week I used Bio heaven😉
Here we can see after the stress it had while vegetation, anyways tha plant started flowering very well and promising. Next weeks probably ill be cutting the excess of leaves.😺
this week was a little bit colder than last week, so I decided not to cut the leaves. I will do it next week when the weather is warmer. I can see in some leaves that I have some deficiency of something, or maybe the pot size is not big enough. we will see whats happening.
the weather was really nice, so I decided to cut the leaves. In fact, I over cutted haha. This was an experiment I wanted to do. I do not recommend to cut every leaf on the plant because you will not have this pannels to do the photosynthesis process, it is a big stress for the plant so I always recommend to leave enough leaves.
it adapted well, even when the lack of leaves. it could have adapted better though. at this point I can see the potential of the plant itself. A good production may come. This will work as knowledge for next times.
the plant is getting fatter little by little. I think it could have been faster if the plant had more leaves, but there's no point in regretting. For a plant that was in a very bad situation when I took it, I has developed very well. things are going good.👽
I know theres a couple of weeks more until I have to cut. But at this point is inevitable to get excited when you see the plant. Patience is the key, lets wait😵
At this point I realized I was giving too much fertilizer to the plant, so I decided to reduce dosage and feed the plants with more water. I also realized the size of the pot was too small, but at this point I just left it there, because also I didn't have a bigger one. Maybe things would have been different if I would have changed it, but this worked as a knowledge, so I can detect the symptoms earlier.
I had some troubles with the nugs, and I dont understand why some of them were kind of mold inside. we had very warm weather and direct to the plant. the nugs were sticky as hell, I think maybe that was the reason they molded. If someone knows please let me know 😌 At this point I decided to clean the rests of fertilizers. I used 20 lt for a 11lt size pot.
after this week, we decided to cut the plant. we had some problems at the end but nothing that serious. I lost a couple of g's there due to the mold but I earned experience and also a very good quality weed. It's true, could have been a lot better, but thats what we have. With more time and knowledge, everyone can improve! 😼
It was a nice experience, It helped me with some things that I didn't know before. It was hard at the beginning because the plant was on a bad situation. But thanks to some fertilizers everything changed, also with love and patience. Good production but it could have been more. Next times will be better, now we have to be thankful and ready to continue😜
