Looks like a promising sturdy but surprisingly tall plant. I thought BK was supposed to stay on the shorter side. Regardless I'll enjoy watching her grow & hopefully she'll reward me with beautiful flower. The BK flower I previously had was my go-to night time if I had a migraine strain - worked every single time. I hope this one is the same.

I had a pretty good overall grow with Drunken Bitch Slap from Aeque Genetics. She grew well under the Hortibloom Solux 350. It looks like she will provide several ounces of good bud when dry. She got very big and has long saggy branches with nice frost buds on it. She smells like a black licorice, and gas smell. I am very curious to how she smokes. first flowering week

End of the first week in the NFT tank. Temperature was higher than normal because of the addition of a 315cdm in the middle if the two 600w dual spec HPS. I put three exhale co2 bags in the room to compensate for the higher temps.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 2020-08-24 Chop chop chop. I DID NOT FLUSH! I read a lot of guides and some scientific data and I wanted to see if I could detect an issue with non-flushed cannabis. We'll find out! After seeing that the trichomes were not going to turn amber (all milky for many days) I did a bit of research and found that some people say WW doesn't produce amber trichomes until week 13-14. I have been monitoring to decide when to cut the plant. I noticed that there was some foxtails developing. The grow was messed up because the plant stretched so much. This created different lighting strength areas so some parts developed faster than others. Everything right under the light was definitely ready for harvest. I have done a bit of a wet trim and hung everything up at 74F and 55% relative humidity. Took a pic of the 8 main colas that I setup from the beginning with my mainlining technique from Nebula. Definitely way messier than I intended (need to lollipop way higher in the future) but those buds are pretty giganticccccccccccccccc 2020-08-26 It is now smelling fairly grassy as the chlorophyll breaks down. Everything going as expected. I was kind of worried by the smell because it was very earthy, now very grassy. The air coming out of the tent smells like fresh cut grass but if you actually touch/squeeze the buds with your hands, it EXPLODES with citrus smells, far more so than when it was still alive. No signs of mould or mildew. I bleached the tent right before hanging so hopefully no infections. I will post the harvest report later on!

I have to dry the buds in the dark at 20 degrees with 50% humidity

Buds are really setting up nicely. French Macaron smells right on brand... and the Chem Brulee... my god! It smells like a Tropical Rocket Fuel. Amazong. The Pineapple Meatball has a really unique odor, but it is still fairly faint. Hoping that the neem/nute burn didn't somehow affect its resin/terp/bud production. It certainly hasn't seemed to affect the French Macaron and the Chem Brulee! This week, I sprayed 3 times with Dr Zymes, and it completely knocked out the small number of fungus gnats I was dealing with. Also released 4,500 ladybugs, and it's been fun watching them spread and work. Will probably stick with the once-per-week Zymes treatment for the next few weeks.

Normalmente riego cada 24 horas y más o menos cada planta está tragando 1 litro de agua en cada riego. Vamos viendo cómo progresan estas últimas semanas. On June 9 I decided finally to transplant her to the last pot of 30l. She deserved it a few days ago, but i wanted to extend the time on the other pot because i can put it on the roof to catch more sun hours. On June 11 I made a hard defoliation and i will let her recover for maybe a month to see if she get the shape that i want.

A little bit of defoliation in order for the side branches to reach better light. I usually don't go in to a heavy deforestation I just occasionally remove some of the big fan leaves in order to have better light penetration. So far the roots are going great not even a slight sign of bacteria or problems in the root zone. We have nice white roots and so far is all going great. Ill probably move them in a separate buckets in week 4. I'm not sure that I'll even have 4 weeks of vegetation becose some of them are starting to show the gender signs, so probably it will be like 3 weeks veg at maximum. I have defoliated a little bit of big fan leaves and I hope in the end of the next week I'll have time to move the RDWC buckets becose I'm a little bit busy does days. I have lower the PPFD becose it seems that this is a bit to much for the flowers.
