This week is dedicated to finalizing the pot and nutrients for the rest of the lifecycle, looks like it took to the nutrients very well not much new upwards growth but new leaf sites appeared!

She is bursting with terpenes! I pressed a 6.6g puck and I got a 1.74g return at 220F (26%) my mold is made to hold about 15g so I suspect I lost some recovery to the filter bag. Just learning on the press but I’m getting wonderful results and returns around 25%.

We’ve rolled into Week 4, and it has been an absolute blast thanks to the gorgeous, non-stop sunshine we’ve been getting. I decided to take a bit of a bolder step with this girl and topped her at the beginning of the week. Some growers are hesitant to top autos, but she handled it like an absolute champ! She didn't even slow down for a second and just kept growing right through it. To support her shape, I’ve also been adjusting the LST alongside the topping. Just like her sister, I added a layer of pine bark on top of her soil to protect the upper layer from drying out under the sun. I'm still keeping the watering schedule down to just twice a week using straight tap water plus a bit CalMag. She has completely recovered, looks super healthy, and is charging forward. This week the Purple Lemonade is entering the crucial late bloom stage. The buds are already showing great color expression and are starting to put on noticeable weight. Trichomes are developing steadily, giving the flowers a frosty appearance, while the fruity, citrus aroma is becoming more pronounced. At this point I’m discontinuing Big Bud and switching to Overdrive for the next two weeks. Big Bud has already done its job during mid-flower by promoting volume and setting the bud structure. Overdrive is more suitable now, as it pushes the plant to increase resin, terpene concentration, and final density, ensuring the Purple Lemonade reaches its full potential before the flush.
