01/31 - HST SOG completed - rebounding accordingly - increased feeds to every other day between clean water and nute feeds - Lights have been picked up to make soon for SOG - looking to pluck clones in about 2/3 weeks 02/04 - Deep into week 13 veg running without any issues - Uptake in Silica and Nitro feeds - HST is coming along accordingly - Clones will be pulled in the next coming weeks - Water feeds have increased to about 1.75 galls every other day.

Day 58 from seed. They looking good. Thinking about 2 weeks more. Mostly cloudy trichomes with a few starting te yellow. Pistils are turning brown. They are drinking less or taking longer to drink the amount given. Its crazy to me how i gave these girls 4L each and never had any runoff. Reducing the nutes to 50%. Really noticing fast grow cycles to harvest when using the deepred 660nm light. The smells are very fresh and sweet. Its like the smell of a just peeled orange. Buds are super heavy and dense, alot of mass. They are like golfballs. Planning to harvest on day 73. Already planted 2 blueberry autos for my next grow in autopots.

Week 5 flower going well. Nothing much to report. Increased the drip as she is taking in more water. Turned up the fans to 100% for maximum flow, and due to that, the tent got a bit warmer and a bit dryer so the exhaust fan and humidifier are working a bit harder. 75-77 deg F, 50-60% RH. Not sure if the lights are to intense or if it’s purple coming through, but at the highest tops there seems to be a bit of discolouration on the newest growth, just at the tips of the new buds. But I’m looking really close and it may be purple, not brown. I’ll keep an eye on it and turn the lights down if symptoms worsen. This plant is growing strong and getting chunky. I gave the 8 Ball Kush and the Blue OG a full 9 weeks in flower , we started the trim yesterday and will finish up today , now it’s cleanup time and get the room reloaded with 8 Ball Kush and Zombie Kush, I will update next weekend on final weight.

Performed a final defoliation along with the usual LST. Tried watering with only 1L to bring the watering down to every 2 days, but they started drooping a bit, so decided to stick with 2L every 3 days. Seems to work best. Not much else to report, growing steadily and buds starting to form.

Day 7, they didnt all pop but most of them did I think 1 of these didnt break the surface. Theyll get another week or so in the cup while some space opens up then go into 3 gal bags for a quick veg

Unfortunately, the development of the buds does not look good. The buds are all tiny and growing very slowly. As we are already in flowering week 7, I do not believe that Lady Runtz will be nice yielder 😂.

Bud sites are producing black/purple spot in leaves. Bud growth is producing as the days go by. Really excited with this being my first grow Nitrogen boost really helped with the deficiencies. Plants are starting to look really heathy... Prunes lower colas that weren't stretching past the canopy and receiving energy so more energy can be used towards the top buds

She is plodding along nicely. A nice stocky plant. No smell just yet or any purple colours yet. On full feed with no issues. Hopefully even better than the last one.

Black opium has done really well. She stretched a lot since last week. One of the 2 tops has grown taller, even though I've tied it down, but they are reaching towards the light, and the buds are developing quite nicely. So let's see what she can do! No water this week. The soil is still drying out due to fungus gnats appearing. I am getting some sticky traps, just waiting for tgem to arrive. There are so many, and it's definitely come from the soil. Mar 28th - plants have been moved into 1 gal pots - gently watered-in the plants to get them through the transplant - DynoMyco was sprinkled into the 1 gallon pots ahead of the transfer, and the Solo Cups Root-Ball, was also sprinkled with Myco, making sure any exposed roots made good contact Mar 29th - a watering program begins tonight, Its posted above, next on 31st (day 3) - p.m. feeding saw 400 ml h20 per plant. (First Official feeding and there is no containment for any water leaving the pots… i held-back 100ml ea. just to see if the Pots leaked… all good for now x 30) Mar 31 - day 3 of the watering cycle; 350ml tonight (posted above) - petals are big enough on the true leaves; foliar spray @ lites-out - measured Soil pH, found it to be 7.1; Future waterings will be ~ 6.2-6.3 to help bring the soil pH a little lower towards mid 6’s Apr 4 - watering tonight ~ 250ml ea - topped-up the Soil in each Pot. *** RESULTS ARE IN *** Final results are in! Updated with pics of dry-trim and weigh-in :) Total yield was 228g of bud + 45g trim to be used for tincture. Total weight 273g / 9.75oz This was way beyond what I was expecting! Was hoping to get around 6oz from this grow, so the final result has absolutely blown my mind. But more importantly, it's a !!REALLY!! good smoke :) I've taken half oz off the top and put the rest into mason jars for curing, but even without a cure, the taste is good - sweet and creamy. The smell has come on LOTS through the drying process. When I chopped, the smell was fragrant, but not too strong. Now, you can smell it across the house and no mistake. It packs a punch too, very potent high - Can't wait to share with a few friends :) ********** Well, this has been an awesome experience for my first grow. Thankfully, these girls were super strong - they took a LOT of abuse in terms of high temps (up to 38C some days) and survived me being an idiot in the early days and not really knowing what I was doing. But here we are! Almost didn't want to chop them down..... but I got over that pretty quick. Total wet weight from both was 1339g (47.8 oz), of which about 150g is popcorn / larf. Super impressed with the yield :) My aim is to be self sufficient, in terms of yield being able to last long enough for another grow cycle to complete. With a rough estimate of 3 months per cycle, and based on my current usage of approx half oz a week, I would need this to result in about 6oz when dried, and I think this could be achievable. I will update the dry weight in due course. Can't speak to the quality yet. As tempting as it is to quick dry a test nug for a cheeky toke, I'll wait for it to dry properly, so I can really appreciate it. I've waited this long to harvest, another couple of weeks won't kill me. Also, I still have some of my current stash (hopefully the last weed I'll ever have to buy!). It's really difficult to be patient though, because DAMN it looks good. I'll give the buds a good manicure and dry trim when they're ready. It smells really good too! The smell is not overly powerful, it doesn't slap you in the face like some weed does, but it's delicious! Fresh, bursting oranges, with just an undertone of that unmistakable weed smell......It's like The Man from Del Monte is stood behind you in a queue, and he has an eighth of dank in his pocket that he doesn't think anyone else can smell. If I had to say I've learned anything along this journey, it's that it's better to be prepared. Research things that COULD happen and have necessary stuff on hand when you need it. Don't wait until that deficiency shows before ordering what you need and finding out it'll take 2 weeks to ship (fuck you, covid-19). And there we have it.... will report back once dried for the final weigh-in and smoke report. Stay safe, stay high :)
