15 seeds germinated. 100% success rate. Seeds have been planted in a mix that has volcano ash and bat guano. The mix gets the seeds off to a great start without the worry of adding nutrients. Over the next few days they'll receive water twice a day. We water about 100ml at a time 3x a day. We water in circular motion to encourage the roots to grow out.

Lots of growth this week and working to solve the humidity issues - Jack had a trim! I think it's probably because of the size of my pots but these girls just won't stop growing! I bit the bullet and did some light defoliation on Jack this week - it didn't seem to phase her at all so I'm a bit more confident about going further. I decided to giver her a bit of a trim, mostly the lower fan leaves. It was because she was so dense and tucking the leaves wasn't really working out, she bounced back fine so now I'm thinking of giving her a bigger trim - not sure I've got the guts though! I've kept feeding her a little bloom every couple of days, not sure if it's helping with her size and density but I don't really want to stop. Flowers are developing but not as quickly as those on the Chocolate Orange, Jack doesn't smell quite as much as her any more either. To fix the humidity issues I diverted the extraction duct to another room which seems to have made a big difference, RH is now consistently under 57% and usually around 55% - still not ideal but I don't think I'll get it much lower. I've moved the fan so that there's plenty of air moving over the canopy - hopefully enough to keep away the mould as the grow progresses.

Day 67. Finally I have decided to harvest a part of the plant first and let the other one mature a few more days. Because i left the other part of the plant maturing I cant use the cabinet to dry her. So I had to make room in my closet. Humidity is 45-55% and I have added a small PC fan to move the air a little ... the last time I dried there it took at least 10 days. I'm happy with the result to be my first minigrow. The development of the plant has gone well despite my screw-ups and has given a lot of buds, I hoped they would have been a little more dense, but it was my fault to subject the plant to an excess of nitrogen. Let's see how the second cut is going, I hope they get more fat :D 1st cut weight wet: 110 gr. Minigrow 2.0 will be much better!

New update for week 12, concluding week 8 of flowering: Hi(gh) Folks! Thanks everyone for your input on my second grow question. I’m going for HighTV’s answer, the SOG with 9x4 main buds. Very nice to get everyone’s input on this, appreciate it! So another week done! They got their last nutrients Tuesday and on Thursday the 5 early ladies from Hempire got their first round of plain acidulated water. I flushed them a bit on Friday and Saturday to. Now they can dry out for a couple of days. I will flush them for the upcoming week and let them dry out before harvest next weekend. Im counting on them to swell up even further during this week. As for the rest of the 4 plants from Hempire, 4 from Royal Queen Seeds and 3 from Hy-Seeds, I will treat them as if this is another week 8, and they will get another dose of Flowering nutrients and PK. Then next week I will start to flush them also. I will have 2 full weeks to flush and let them dry out until my planned harvest on Saturday 5 January. I’m not even sure that will be early enough for the 4 RQS’s since they look like they have even more bud-growing to do, before they can start swelling! I will keep an eye on that. The 5 tall ladies, 2 from Hempire and 3 from Hy-Seeds show the nice thick Kushy buds i’m craving for, can’t wait to see the becoming nice and heavy! On the photos you see the slight diverence between the pheno’s, the left 2 plants grew the popcorn-buds on a stem, and the right ones have nice thick popcornbuds against the stem’s. The other to remaining Hempire plants also show these, apart from the early ladies offcourse. The early birds show a little stretching buds and nice purple colours. Esta noche se ven creciendo con gran vigorosidad estas cepas Chilenas Pure Inferno y Bloodnana, actualmente estas mitad de la semana 4, desde sus 2 hojas reales. las nenas se alimentas bien y se ven felices actualmente se da alimenta con fertilizante Advance nutrients. Veremos como se ven las ultimas semana antes de tirarlas a floración. en riego, se da una vez por semana advance nutriens y 2 solo agua sola. las mas grandes tienen 4 semanas. la mediana tiene 3 semana. la mas pequeña tiene 2 semana. se tiran a flora en un total de 6 semanas a 7. PH:6.3 EC:750

Buds filling out rapidly. Had a near miss with accidental over-feeding this week. Burnt some leaves. Recovered quickly with a quick flush of the system, but may impact yield. Half a dozen leaves frazzled.

One more week of veg and we will be flipping the lights to 12/12. The blueberry pie is starting to put out a nice smell. I've topped this plant along with a bunch of defoliation. The structure for this plant is perfect. I was thinking about putting up a trellis but I decided not to in the end. It would make it very difficult for me to get to the 2 back plants. I need more room in my basement! Haha we will flip next week and start increasing nutrient solution for flower. Can't wait to see the bud structure on these nts.

It's getting there! Maybe a week or two for the Quick One, and 2-3 weeks for the Apple Fritter. They are starting to show some deficiencies, but I won't bother adding any more fertilizer. But I will look into the whole fertilizing process for my next grow, so far I'm really, really happy how they are doing so far :) Smell is getting strong, had to buy a carbon filter, so I won't bother my neighbors 😅

👉The plant really faded fast during this week. I harvested the plant from the top down and staggered the process out over the week, fininshing today, 7 days later. The Queen Cola branch was giant. The calyxes had purple tinge too them. The queen took 7 days to loose 75% of its moisture and is now in its jar and stable at 62%Rh. I pruned and weighed each branch after trimming. I then hung each branch on a rack. After two days I put into a paper bag. The aroma at harvest was diesely. Very strong and you can smell it outside. The buds are dense and frosty. The trim wasn't to punishing because the plant didn't have many sugar leaves and those that were were covered in frost. I hung all the main branches in individually, and the secondary branches i put on a hanging net. There was minimal popcorn or larf and was not included in any of the weight. The plant was well beyond average size. For the pictures I used my cell phone. THe backdrop is a darker green. But like most cell hones the colors can be slightly skewed in the process. I did some adjustments on my computer to adjust for the color drift.

The trichomes are starting to make themselves known On this one, also the smell is becoming a citrus like aroma which is one of my favorites, also No signs of deficiencies or anything yet so I hope it stays that way.

They took a long time to grow and mature 10 months in all. They produced amazing flowers with a genuine high. Left a lot to be desired in flavour profile however not awful to smoke. Would grow again for sure as they were a high yielding, ‘set and forget’ type of strain easy and resilient enough to grow and highly impressive to see grown outdoor.

02.08.20 - Starts week 7 according to Seedsman this is a 75-day seed to maturity grow right at 11 weeks, I think we are on track but feel it will push 12 weeks, the stems are loaded with flowers and I am confident they will fell in to produce some very large nugs - exciting to say the least! So tomorrow I pick up my items needed to start brewing compost tea - will shoot a quick video of the process / then will feed with compost tea on Monday / this should carry the plants through harvest. 02.09.20 - Started up my Compost Tea today - Recipe: 2 Cups Worm Castings (Used a Paint Strainer Bag), 1 Tablespoon Kelp Extract, 1 Tablespoon Fish Extract, 2 Table Spoons Molasses, brew for 24/36 hours. 02.10.20 - Today just watered the plants with my first compost tea, it looked amazing, had a beautiful white protein foam on the top - I will have a look at the plant's first thing in the morning and see if they are dancing! 02.11.20 - Just a quick update - plants continue to grow big great genetics! 02.12.20 - Keeping it simple, light watering - temps are good - buds are getting larger - all in all thinngs are looking great!
