The seeds were planted in 0.5l. cups, filled with coco based substrate with following ratio: 25% Plagron Mega Worm, 75% Canna Coco Proffesional+, 1tsp. Epsom salts. Seeds were planted on the 22.September.2019 and each of them popped as followed: Gorilla Glue - 26.09.2019 (4days), Larry Bird Kush and Gelato - 27.09.2019 (5days) and Bruce Banner 3 - 30.09.2019 (8days). We use full spectrum of Plagron products for coco. Vita Race we use as foliar spray. EC is 1.45 and ph is 5.5. Also we keep the humidity high and temperatures medium-high (27-30day, 20-22night). Also we use the following equipment as setup: Grow tent - Homebox Ambient Q120+, Lights and reflector - Sunmaster Dual Spectrum HPS 600W and Adjust a Wing Avenger, extraction fan - Can Max Fan Pro 250.

The plants were transplanted into 20L Air-Pots, filled with 25% Plagron Mega Worm / 75% Plagron Cocos. We keep the RH between 50-60% all the time. The RM is in 25-27C range during daytime and 20-24C at night. EC is about 2.0. We are very happy with our HID so are the plants. We're going to top them just above the 5th node, wait for about 10 days to recuperate and then switch to 12/12 to induce flowering. The high percentage of organic matter lowers the risk of salt stress and helps us maintain appropriate pH levels. Substrate pH is 7.0.

Report on week 3 of veg: I lower the RH to 50-55% while the RM stays relatively on the higher range: 27-29C daytime and 18-22 at night. I had nice visual on the 6th node of BB3, Larry Bird and Gelato plants and few cm. to avoid any eventual stem splitting, so i topped them. I guess the Gorilla will be ready for topping by tomorrow. Unfortunately i have to work with hard water so i have to keep constant eye on the water's EC. For this reason and from personal experience i wont increase the nutrients dosage any time before flowering. The high percentage of worm castings is doing wonders and help me a lot with the substrate's maintance. I did some runoff water measurements and end up with the following values: Gorilla had 2.75EC and 6.5pH, Gelato got 2.70/6.6, Larry 2.85/6.7 and BB 2.20/6.9. Substrate pH is 7.0. Once again, I have to say that Sunmaster's Dual Spectrum HPS are indeed super powerful lamps. I added another clip-fan to ensure a nice breeze around the plants. I will follow the general rule of thumb and give the plants 10-14 days to recover from the HST. Once i week i spray the plants with foliar iron-based nutrient solution👊 (Plagron Vita Race). It boosts the photosynthesis, plus it washes and cleans the leaves. P.s. only the Larry Bird is topped on the pictures. I topped other two today, but i didnt want to switch-off the lights in order to take pictures. Peace!

Another good week i would say. I do simple lst but just to shape up the plants. Next week will be the last veg week. I decided to switch to 12/12 by the end of the next week. I am considering a nice pre-flower flush with pure ph-ed water mixed with some organic molasses. I won't defoliate the plants but i will do lollipop some time at week 3 of flowering.

Report on flowering week 1: I used the daytime savings change as opportunity to switch the lights to 12/12. On the second day after the "switch" i flushed the plants with ph-ed to 5.5 water, mixed with rooting solution, enzymes and pure organic molasses. Plants phyllotaxy begin to change as they stretch because of the change of photoperiod. I use this as oppurtinity to LST the plants in order to expose them more to the light. I had a little accident with my HPS and i broke it while i was cleaning it. Now i have Philips MASTER GreenPower CG T 600W. I also installed green light in order to observe the plants all the time. I've set the ventilation system to 50%, so now i've achieved daytime RM which is in 20-22C range, and 18-20C at night. The RH is in 45-50% range daytime and 55-60% at night. I am going easy on nutrients and i plan to start using boosters later on the run, around week 6.

Summary on flo week 2 --------------------------------------------- As plants are stretching i use this as opportunity to bend the stems and expose more of them to light. I was dubious whether to use scrog or not, but the Larry Bird plant got a lot taller than the other and three, so i had to super scrop her tallest branches, even if i know it's a bit late for any HST. I plan to extra nurture the HST-ed Larry the best i can. Now, all plants have even canopy and they're at the same hight. Luckily the plants have this and the following week while they still be in transition stage so i hope everybody would have enough time to recuperate the trainings. The lamp distance is exactly 40 cm. (15inches) above canopy and thanks to the trainings the light is evenly distributed over the plants. Even the far-sided branches receive very sufficient amount of the emitted light. I have to admit that all of the strains are reacting very well on trainings. I'm going very easy on nutrients and i dont give more than 75% of the recommended label dosages. Nutrient solution pH is always 5.5, while the EC is 2.2. I buffer the ph with phosphorus acid. Next week i'll administer foliar spray with iron-based additive, combined with molasses and amino-acids (Plagron Vita Rase and Sugar Royal) solution. Few days later, i'll lollipop the bottom 1/3 of the plants and that's going to be the last training applied on this grow. I have a lot of circulating air, freshly induced directly from the outside air and strong extractor which is great for the plants.

Report on week 3: I've lollipped 1/3 (mostly) of the plants and i do LST to match the overall plant's height, so i can i have an even canopy. I also defoliate the plants when it's needed, which is every other day. I lowered the RM and RH to 22-24C (daytime) and 18-20C (at night), while the RH is about 50% during the day and 65% at night. I have strong airflow within the tent and freshly induced air. I lowered the nutrients level because of the defoliation and i presented Plagron's Green Sensastion (4-in-1 flowering additive product) to the nutrient solution in order to boost the P/K uptake. So far so good. Peace!

Report on flowering week 4: --------------------------- Transition and stretching is almost at halt. Pistils are visible almost everywhere on all four plants. I've increased the p/k profile of the nutrient solution in order to meet the increasing flowering requirments of the plants and i also added amino-acids. Maybe you would notice that i am reporting week 4 of flowering and instead of having buds fattening already, the plants are just halting the stretch and actually start making real buds. That is because I made a mistake by adding too strong (100W) green light bulb within the tent for full 12 hours and this somehow triggered the photosynthtetic response in the plants during the night hours, which actually slowed down the flowering. If the memory serves me correctly the plants are reflecting 95% of the green light, so I guess it didn't activate too much of photosynthetic activity. By my calculations and by the look of the plants and how they started making buds, the flowering is approximately a week behind schedule because of this 'accident'. Of course i removed the bulb as soon as it occurred to me and everything went back to normal very fast. Honestly, this 'occurrence' surprised me a little and I did learn my lesson here. Man is learning all his life, right? 😎

Report on flowering week 5 --------------------------- Only the Larry Bird plant is still stretching a bit, while the other three are spending all their energy in making buds. My biggest issue is the hard water i have to deal with every watering. If the normal tap water EC is considered to be 0.5, mine is always 0.9-1.00. Next grow i plan to add RO system to my setup because i'm freakin' tired of this dreadful tap water quality. In order to higher the nutrients and not creating too much of EC i had to switch to organic PH adjuster (citric acid). Trichomes are popping all over the plants, releasing nice and pleasant scent.

Report on flowering week 6: --------------------------- Buds become bigger and fatter with each day. With more and larger buds growing, more and more trichmes are produced so the scent is much more noticeable. Each pant is releasing its very own distinct scent. Lovely really! I'm drooling when just looking at these beauties.

Flowering week 8 report: ------------------------ Since the plants are in the late flowering stage i make extra efforts to keep low temperatures (18C-20C during the day and 16-18C at night), while keeping low RH (35-40% during day and 45-50% at night). I feed the plants exactly 2 times a week with 20% water run-off. The smell is unbelievable! Each plant is releasing very specific and distinctive scent. I took a look on the trichomes and judging by they color so far, i give 2 more weeeks tops and i will harvest. I am pushing the nutrients to 100% of the recommended dosages but only for a week, then i will flush nicely.

Flowering week 9 report: -------------------------------- Okay guys i am on the final stretch! I have carefully examined pistils and noticed that all of the plants have more than 70% darkened and curled pistils. Also, i did some microscope check on the trichomes are they are all milk and cloudy. This week i will administer nutrients for the last time, then i will do 5-7 days flush with plain ph-ed water. That being said, i guess i will be harvesting these beauties in no more than 10 days from now on. During the day the HPS and the strong ventilation are drying the air good enough, and during the night i turn on dehumidifier, so the RH stays low 24/7.

FInal week! I start flushing the substrate with enzymes and ph-ed water. I allow a lot of water to pass through the substrate in order to get rid of any excess nutrients left in it. Next week i'll be choping those beauties!
