Beautiful genetic, she is 4 days younger than the rest of the plants in this run and she has the same height as the rest of the ladies, beautiful stretch, the flowers are coming very nice and strong and I cannot wait to see what type of flowrs awaits me as I have never grown this genetic before however I'm starting to feel some sweet smell I don't know how she's gonna smell yet but I'm so excited, let's see how this lady perfoms! Not a lot to update the seedlings have came up out the soil at this point they are still to small to tell any visible differences. I started all the seeds from all 10 packs and and I put 26 of them in soil I now have about 20 of them left I still have atleast one left if every strain. I just kept the 20 plants that all started off at the same time it’s so much easier when there is not some plants behind from the rip. In a few days I will pick out the best one from each of the 10 strains and toss the rest so sad there is a plant count here.

I did a few things differently than I usually do since I’ve been having problems with germination lately. I’ve grown strawpicanna before, so I know it’s not exactly an easy cultivar. Still, I experimented, and sometimes experiments fail. I’m not crying over it though - things happen in the garden you just gotta grow with the flow. 😝😝 I still have some things in the works. Just got a 10 pack of Blueberry Rose from Lovin In Her Eyes so I’ll be back with a fresher and hopefully far better diary in a few days.

Week 6 has brought about the slowing of vertical growth and the flowers starting to put on some bulk. Each time I have run this cut the top leaves will start to come in lighter than the fan leaves below. At week 6, so far they are maintaining a lime green color with some discoloration. This is not a cause for concern. Flower formation is on track and everything else looks healthy. I basically have to ride with whatever happens because I use the BeanStalk line of products for fertilization. They are a single application, controlled release formula that feed the plant over the course of approximately 90 days. This means that I never have to mix nutes. Water only and I set it and forget it. I mix in a known quantity of the product at transplant and that’s it. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is interested in simplifying their grow. The upfront cost is a little steep, but I purchased 3 pound bags of all 4 products in February 2021 and still have a ton of it left. Last time I grew this cut, I observed many of the ‘sugar leaves’ turning yellow and dying prior to harvest. That plant was grown in a 5 gallon pot, with a much longer veg time, much more vegetative mass, and was much closer to my lights. I am hoping to get different results in a smaller pot with shorter veg time and less leaf growth. When I harvested that plant, I noticed that on most flowers this was not a big issue, but over time I have found that when sugar leaves die on the plant, this is the most likely avenue for mold to develop in my room.

added trellis netting this week to start SCROG. two layers close to eachother so I don't have to wait for entire square of growth to tuck under higher growth to keep flat even canopy. also minimizes my need for zip tie and garden ties needinf adjustment. I'm happy with veg growth thus far, and once the screen fills up with more green in a week or two these two ladies will both be ready to flip to flower. waiting on lower nodes to develop a bit more and get best use I can from a big(ish) 315 w LEC light. the girls are getting foliar every 3 or 4 days. using heavy 16 foliar only at the moment but will follow their foliar mix as grow progresses. smell has gotten much heavier, especially in nemo, the more blueberry pheno of the two, looking at the fan leafs I think V is more haze pheno with super thin sativa leaf structure.

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. As we enter week five we notice some of the plants pre flowering. But not all so I decide to stick with veg nutrients until all are showing pre flowers. Half way through the week and the rest of the plants are showing pre flowers. Just in time as the plants that had pre flowered earlier on in the week are showing slight Newt burn on the tips suggesting It is time to change to bloom newts which holds less nitrogen. The magnified picture are of the pre flowers forming ( two little fuzzy hairs). Interesting fact: it takes thousands of those little fuzzy hairs to form just one bud.

Clones got transplanted into 1gal Rapid Stack pots, this will facilitate the next transplant into the live soil grow bed with no stress. Quick and easy transplanting with no root shock or damage to the plant. Hey folks. Missed week 10 update due to mid terms. During that week I tip dressed again with 60/40 ratio of 444 to 284 ar 2tbps per gal. Finnaly had time this weekend to do a heavy defolation and start shaping up the plant along with watering. I starting to find mites and start of some mold. So I caught them at a good time. I will eventually spray them down with neem oil. See ya on the next update

After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process.
