I'm kinda late on the update, week 11 finished on sunday 4, now is feb 9th. Last time i gave them nutrients was on sunday jan 28th, and i cut them down on feb 6th. almost a week and a half of flush. Each plant yielded 65g of wet buds (i forgot to take wet weight photography), i will update the harvest when they are done drying and before curing. Stay alert 😉

Raspberry Cough and Candyland are sprinting out in front of the holy punch. They both seem stronger and denser. I’ll do a second run of the holy punch next grow to see if I can get a better outcome!

DAY 49: seeing harvests from other grows of these strains, I wonder why am still going strong on the bud building ?. They are more than happy to carry on further at this point it seems with only a small covering of browning pistils on the FFT#1 showing out. She isn't the fattest buddies yet but hopefully this week will finish her off nicely. FFT#5 is very nice looking now and has so.e.beautiful sized colas across her wide span. She is very hemmed in by the others around her but has easily managed to push some serious buds to the canopy top to create so e rock solid, sweet smelling buds. She is feeding g a hell of a pot on the water now with approx 10L per 2 days. Hungry girl. FFT#7 Is still the biggest sister here and now with very nice packed out colas at every point I look. I will be very surprised if she isn't the highest yield of the whole run. It is a great strain to work with and watch grow. The smell off her as with the others is a fruity hit and rushes out of the tent when i open up. I think another week at least to find her sweet spot for harvest.

Tough going first few weeks going to look close on the postmortem for the roots and see if I can tell what was causing the issues with Phos, Ca, Mg lockouts. Foliar saved the day Was very disappointed in the germination rate which caused delays in grow cycle and threw off my whole grow system. It forced me into 7 gallon pots to try and save the yield and THAT may be where the issues arose with the pots, I had to use another bin of soil for the extra soil. Still I should have known better and just stuck with the 5 gallon pots but was trying to get yield. Worked too on Layla and Maggie, nothing was going to help the stunting on Brandy which I dropped from the grow. So 60% germination is not acceptable unless its tomatoes... Dont get me wrong though, this strain has a LOT of good qualities, it not only survived my foul up but produced one excellent plant and one monster out of the three that germed. May try it again next year, think it would be stellar in coco. Beyond that a quality product, just had issues. I just want to bite off one of the buds and eat!)) buds develop very well .. you can see how many there are .. they are everywhere .. especially under the leaves .. and so I think ... Or maybe you can do 1 more defoliation? the last one? what do you think, or not to bother her more?

Since joining growdiaries I’ve seen that 420 Fastbuds are one of the (if not) the most notorious genetics on here.. so I’ve got my hands on some Fastberry seeds (which with the promotion I got one free!!) I’ve been very bored with the kind of weed I have been smoking recently the taste of the buds aren’t too great so I’m very excited to give this strain a try with the promise of berry flavoured weed!!! Happy growing! Mon 8th March - after a few days of being in a damp paper towel stored in a dark warm place she’s popped a little tap root. I will leave until tomorrow then I’ll plant her directly into her final 3 gallon pot. 🍁 Tue 9th March - Placed into her final pot gave her a little water and placed dome over her until she pops.
