Now entering veg week number 2, so far so good IĀ“d say. Some slight leaf discoloration from rapid growth. IĀ“ll ramp up the watering tomorrow morning to about 400ml per plant and keep the adding root juice and silica until the end of this week. Root juice IMO is the best bottle out of the entire BioBizz line. This stuff really works. Unlike the BioGrow, which I donĀ“t have good things to say about at all. I will be substituting it with FishMix for this grow. ItĀ“s too early to add N, thanks to the allmix bottom layer nutrient buffer. Instead of AC Infinity T5 humidifier and the 69 Pro controller, I decided to invest in a 14k BTU AC mobile unit from the wonderful German company Klarstein. Should arrive either at the end of the week or early next week. Hoping to stabilize daytime room temps to 26C and with that stabilize the fluctuating VPD as well. Not to mention the QOL improvement to myself. But you know, I am doing it mainly for the plants. 😊 Update follows in a few days. Update 10. 06. Time flies, itĀ“s already wednesday and the growth is steady. Watered with 400ml of water, since the soil was almost completely dry. New photos uploaded. IĀ“ve discovered "professional" photo mode on my phone, so I should be able to give you better - non AI processed - quality photos. Update 13. 06. Height of the plants doubled since wednesday. Their trunk is getting pretty thick considering itĀ“s only end of the 2nd veg week. IĀ“ll start with LST tonight, before they go to sleep. Watered with 800ml of water, but it still looks like they could have taken more than that. LetĀ“s be conservative for now though. Lights bumped up to 50 % of power and sit 55cm above the canopy. New photos uploaded. AC unit arrived yesterday and IĀ“ll set it up today. Starting tomorrow, plants should recieve stable 26°C climate for the rest of their lives. šŸ‘ Edit 14. 06. I went to turn off the lights last night and realized, that the light above the right plant has been accidentally running at 75 % of power. As a result, the pots dried up quickly. Woke up today to bone dry pots and had to water again. This time each got 1 liter of water. I also added a little bit of activera to help them recover from stress. Right plant took it nicely and grew 1cm more than the plant on the left. Prepared them for LST in the morning with stakes. Cut off 2 fan leaves from each plant that were touching the mois soil as a result. Switched the stakes for the adjustable bendies I got from Kaufland store (sort of functions like Amazon) in the afternoon. Trying them out for the first time and I like them more than ropes and wires with clips. Now I will let them recover for a few days from all the stress. AC wasnĀ“t needed today, because temps outside are like 15°C with rain. Got a nice 21°C temp today in the lung room and 25°C in the tent. New photos and a video uploaded. Link for the bendies: https://www.kaufland.cz/product/551922832/ This concludes veg week number 2. IĀ“ll see you next week.āœ‹

šŸ“… Week 10 | šŸ—“ļø Day 64–70 Day 70 – Papayton šŸ€ (2nd week flower) šŸ”øPapayton is growing vigorously in week 10 and is slightly ahead of Lemon Cherry Runtz in terms of size. The canopy is wider and the spearheads are slightly higher – exactly where the flower clusters are now really taking off. The pictures show densely packed calyxes with long, creamy white stigmas; the sugar leaves are already nicely pollinated and the buds are starting to stack up. So far, everything looks great. šŸ”øThe SANlight remains at 90% and ~30 cm distance (approx. 900 PPFD at the canopy). The leaves appear relaxed, without claws or lightening – so no indication of light stress. I keep the climate rather moderate, with good air circulation through the foliage so that the fresh resin heads remain dry. It's a bit cold at the moment, so I can't quite reach the VPD, but I'm not going to put a heater in, hehe. šŸ”øI watered as planned with BIO PK from BioTabs – carefully following the manufacturer's instructions. Otherwise, only water. The goal: to push flower formation without compromising leaf health.Depending on how it develops, next time I will either just water it or give it a top dressing with Slizium Flash. šŸ“ˆ Current Conditions šŸŒ”ļøšŸ”† = 24°C šŸŒ”ļøšŸŒœ = 17°C šŸ’Ø Humidity = 69% šŸ”¦ PPFD = 900 µmol (12/12) šŸ› ļø Setup (unchanged) šŸ’” 2 x SANlight Evo 4-120 @90% ⛺ 120 x120 x 180 Spiderfarmer šŸÆ Pots: 18 liter fabric pots 🌱 Soil: Bio-Bizz light mix šŸ’Š Nutrients: BIO Tabs 🌱 ā€œEasy, organic, only-water method. Skywalker OG — Legends of the 12/12 Galaxy Week 7 From Seed | Week 2 Flower Structural Defoliation + Clip Release + Stretch Acceleration āø» šŸŒ”ļø Environment Snapshot (Current Reality) • šŸŒ”ļø Day Temp: ~28°C • šŸ’§ RH: ~65% • ⚔ EC: ~2.9 • pH: ~6.5 • šŸ“ Height: 40–80 cm • šŸ’” LED (multi-layer canopy + under-canopy) On paper? Some growers panic at 28°C in flower. In practice? Understanding beats numbers. āø» šŸƒ LED, Leaf Temperature & VPD (Why 28°C Is Not ā€œToo Hotā€) Under LED: • No infrared radiation blast like HPS • Leaf surface temp typically 2–4°C cooler than room So: • Room ā‰ˆ 28°C • Leaf ā‰ˆ 24–26°C • RH ā‰ˆ 65% šŸ‘‰ Leaf VPD sits beautifully in early–mid flower range. And the plants confirm it: • Deep green tone • No tacoing • No stress curl • No clawing • Strong praying posture • Internode stacking consistent The leaves are not just ā€œnice.ā€ They are metabolically comfortable. āø» 🌿 Defoliation — What Actually Happened I didn’t trim for aesthetics. I reset the architecture. From the timeline photos: Before: • Dense interior • Lower growth competing • Air pockets blocked • Light penetration limited After: • Clear lower third (true lollipop) • Secondary branches prioritized • Top energy redirected upward • Under-canopy airflow massively improved And the removed leaf pile? That tells the story of biomass management, not plant stress. Very important: The structure after defoliation still looks balanced — not skeletal. That means you removed intelligently, not emotionally. āø» šŸ”© Clip Removal — The Branch Memory Effect Now let’s talk about something many growers don’t understand. When you use clips or branch spreaders: • You temporarily manipulate auxin distribution • You redirect apical dominance • You force lateral exposure Once removed? The plant reacts in 24–72 hours. From your timeline screenshots: • Branches begin to arc upward • Nodes reorient toward light • Vertical dominance partially reasserts • But structure remains widened This is perfect timing to remove clips: Week 2 flower stretch phase. Why? Because now: • The branch has lignified enough to hold structure • The stretch will ā€œlock inā€ the new angles • You avoid late-flower snapping risk You can already see: The tops are reclaiming verticality while keeping spacing. That is textbook. āø» 🌱 The Burned Leaves (Under-Canopy Lighting) I saw the small localized tip burns. Important observations: • Not systemic • Not progressing • Mostly lower / under-canopy exposure • Slight edge crisping from proximity to under-light This is photonic intensity + proximity — not nutrient burn. Your EC at 2.9 is high compared to your other girls, yes. But here’s the key: They are eating it. Signs of overfeeding would show as: • Uniform tip burn across canopy • Dark clawing • Slowed growth • Salt buildup symptoms You have none of that. Instead: • Vigorous stretch • Praying posture • Uniform leaf tone So the EC is higher because: This phenotype is demanding more during stretch. That’s not excess. That’s appetite. āø» šŸš€ The Stretch Now let’s talk genetics. Week 2 flower is just the beginning for these. Expect: • 1.5–2x final stretch potential • Continued vertical gain next 10–14 days • Later pistil stacking compared to indica-leaners And yes — i may need to raise the LEDs. At 60 cm now? They are not done. The fact they are praying constantly tells me: They want more light — not less. But we watch: If distance drops too much, you’ll see leaf flattening before tacoing. That’s your early warning. āø» Two Plants — Two Personalities You can clearly see: One Plant : • More structured • Tighter node stacking • Slightly thicker leaf The other Plant : • More vertical aggression • Strong apical reclaim after clip removal • Haze-like frame expansion This is why running multiple phenos is beautiful. We’re not just growing. We’re studying expression. āø» šŸ“ˆ What To Expect Next Week Expect: • Continued stretch (especially haze leaner) • First real pistil clustering • Stem thickening • Faster water uptake • Slight EC hunger spike Do Not Expect Yet: • Bud swelling • Calyx stacking • Resin explosion • Final leaf posture We are still in transition. This is architectural week — not production week. āø» ā¤ļø And The Leaves… You’re right. They are beautiful. Wide, defined serrations. Strong petiole angles. No mottling. No interveinal chlorosis. No stress striping. They look metabolically confident. That’s the best compliment a plant can receive. āø» šŸ™ Gratitude Section To everyone: • The OGs who’ve been here since seed • The new growers learning through mistakes and wins • The silent readers • The loud critics • The Grow Diaries community • The platform hosting the journey • The sponsors supporting education • And every single person watching this experiment unfold This is not just a grow. It’s documentation. It’s learning. It’s transparency. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Just a phenomenal plant from start to finish. For a first grow yielding 160g is just mind blowing. Very easy to grow long veg period so windows of LST are large enough to have room for error. Lots of Defoliation needed and at its peak was drinking 6 Litres of water a day.

They are growing very well, and I have bend them quite a lot. Made some mistakes and break some branches like 2/3 on each...I put some rubber tape on them hoping it will go on, but I got a good feeling for that. They got a nice shape and are just getting some signes of flowering. I have also cut like 2 or 3 Big leaves by plant, i Hope it'll be ok for them.

I absolutely love to watch them grow! Especially that moment they hit their first growth spurt. I started with RO water that is remineralized for drinking purposes. The ppm is only 18! My tap is 156! So considering they don’t need much water, I’ve been stealing some of our drinking water. The RO water starts at pH of 7. After I add the nutrients, ppm of 249 @ pH of 5.8 while soil is still sweet @ pH of 7 I think my days are off as a new week begins on the last day of the previous week. I am going to leave that for consistency. 04/21 - Noticing some possible nutrient issues with the Fruity Pebbles for several days now. Going to see what she needs. Up front I’m thinking maybe just a super small amount of Amino Acids with a little Epsom Salt. Maybe she is struggling to access the nitrates from the neem cake. IF it’s a issues with nitrogen. We will see. Maybe she would benefit from some extra calcium?… Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Day 22 and I am noticing how these girls have been burning up a lot of potassium lately, dealing with the wind and sun šŸ’Ø ā˜€ļø, getting pushed around all day. I plant to top dress with some Kelp Meal pretty soon. Day 24 -> 4/22/22- a quote from the weather on today’s red flag warning and dust storm warning. ā€œ HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Satellite imagery. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.ā€ I’m keeping the girls inside today. Day 26, I was planning to check the runoff on some of these girls, especially the fruity pebbles, however I messed that up as I also top dressed WAY too much of the seaweed bliss. So I flushed with plain RO water at pH of 7 until there was only slight coloration in the runoff. I didn’t check the runoff as a lot has changed with all that flushing. So next watering/feeding I will make sure I check the runoff on multiple plants. So the seaweed bliss with its 17 on potassium, seems to be the most likely culprit for why there is a bronze-ish color on the inside of the new growth. Hopefully a foliar feed of Epsom salts can correct the problem. Inside tent, lights on LOW. Noticing similar pattern in all of them to a degree, most noticeable in the fruity pebbles.

Saludos y buenos humos.
