Hey Cannafam Happy Monday,
My Apricot gal has had a fairly good week overall, however the leaf miners had started to spread so i defoliated lower fan leaves earlier in the week, she has now got some trails on the upper fan leaves, but she needs leafage for progression so ive started trying to squash the larvae between thumb and forefinger. Hopefully this should work, ive had leaf miners on plants before but generally leave them, but theyve been worse than normal on this grow.
Training has been piecemeal each day, but as shes quite low down i have torn a couple of leaves slightly by accident where i couldnt get to the base of shoots, trying to hold them in their dedired positions whilst pinning them down. Although il continue to make continuous adjustments, shes about to start flowering so i may not seperate any more auxilery shoots into main branches, but we'll see dependant on if theres much sretch going into flower. Feed wise shes just had the one dose this week of Plagron, Trace and Great White.
Weather wise its been allot drier/consistant overall but with fog, mist and drizzle starting each day Tuesday - Saturday with the Sun coming through for a bit in the afternoons. Humidity has remained very high but with constant temps of around 19c daytime 14c nightime. Sunday the misty/cloudy days had gone and it was a lovely hot 25c day/18c night and today its been a scorching 27c!
Daylight hours are at 16hrs 26mins and will now start reducing as we had the Summer Soltice yesterday ☹️
Overall my gal seems to be happy with good growth, this strain seems well suited to the UK weather but the real test will be in flower, as the past few years we have had a wet summer with ensuing budrot. At the moment this strain really dosen't seem phased by our changeable weather conditions and seems quite hardy 😊

WEEK 11 - 29-8-2020 - 04-9-2020

Nutrient mixed with 20 gallon filtered water. Each tank filled with 10 gallons:
Silicon - 1.5ml/gal ~ 30ml
Cal mag - 2.5ml/gal - 50ml
Micro - 5ml/gal - 100ml
Gro - 3ml/gal - 60ml
Bloom - 7ml/gal - 140ml
Hydroguard - 2ml/gal - 40ml
Nitrozyme - 5ml/10L - 40ml
Ph 6.00, Ppm 820, Temp 21
04/9/2020 - Did minor defoliation for plant 1. Heavy defoliation for plant 2. Plant 2 is really bushy. Hope after this defoliation it will stretch and get to same level as plant 1. I prefer not to supercrop plant 1. Carbon filter prefilter changed to a new one. So far the girls are looking great!

Was such a pleasant harvest from start to finish, no issues at all. A tip for next time would be to have the SCRoG lower as I couldn’t really tuck any node sights this time round, smells absofuckinglutely amazing from 3RD week bloom onwards!

Day 22- She stopped putting on height due to one night of a dramatic temperature drop. It's a cooler fall this year plus a freeze came through the night before. That night, I was up doing some studying when I noticed the reading on the remote display. N o telling how long it had been in the very low 60's. The problem was fixed simply by adding a heater to the room. Now, the temp is only in the 68 degree range for the final 2 1/2 hrs. before the lights are cut back on.
Day 26- Her bud branches hav grown at least 2 -5 innches in length and have at least 2-4 bud sites already. Instead of Defoliation, I decided to actual two different types of LST. The first is simply bending to fan leaf branches under to expose the bud branches to more light. The main benefit is that you still keep the ability to absorb more of the light energy with them. I look at the fan leaves as your plant's " Personal Sun Panels". Since they store energy in the day and use that reserve to grow at night, why would you take something away for her that is meant to help her? Also, the second method I used is something I like to call" wind thickening". The technique is using wind resistance to train your plant's stem and branches to become more rigid by growing thicker to stablize itself. So, instead of a gentle breeze, I use a three speed box fan at varies distance. I started doing this on Day 22 and the results are definitely showing. The main stem went from 1/16 in. to a nice 3/8 in.

Week 3 of Bloom
🌸 She has finished her stretch and remained relatively small compared to the other plants in the tent, but is big enough to not require any assistance. She has now switched her focus over to developing her flower, which absolutely stinks; a beautiful fruity scent that fills the tent and the room! I've attached the carbon filter to reduce the smell, but something tells me that'll only work for so long... Other than that, she looks strong and healthy 💪🏻
✂️ I've lollipopped her again, removing all leaves stems and budsites below the top 6 nodes from the canopy - these lower branches won't develop into anything and will more than likely cause problems later down the line. I've also removed a couple of the larger fan leaves from her center, to improve airflow and light penetration 💪🏻
💧 Watered every three days with 4L of RO water, with nutrients mixed individually, in order and then finally, I pH'd the solution to 6.3. I've increased some of her nutrients and added the AlgaMix as a precaution to any temperature fluctuating that might occur this time of year.

Unfortunately, one of my plants was affected by mildew, luckily only a few lower leaves, but I will probably have to do an (Maybe) emergency harvest this week. The lady isn't that long away from the optimal time anyway, so it shouldn't be such a big problem.

Another week closer....
So glad we are almost to the end, the heat out lately has been a killer, added another fan to the room it helped a little ....
The girls are drinking alot ..they are at the point were the ppms dont drop but raise as the water goes down.. do to not taking up nutrients as they were when growing earlier, so in turn the last few weeks I start to drop in ppms ...I never have noticed a difference by keeping them high all the way to the end I like to drop the last few weeks ....if they are not using it why feed them it......
everything else is going great

All 3 plants are growing differently bit very healthy. Not sure why one wants to stretch like crazy while the other 2 are reminding short bushy like plants. Hopefully they start reaching for the light and branch out before I flip to 12/12. I'm not sure how long I'm gonna veg these for but I'd like to have a good canopy before I do. We'll see what happens. For now everyone is getting 4ml per gallon on nutes so I don't over do it. A little goes a long way with advanced nutrients.

Flowering day 11

The first days of this week it looked really terrible for me because it was much too cold because of the unusual temperature.
The heating mat has now also arrived for the big tent and lo and behold the plants have been developing really well since that day ☺️👍.
The temperature doesn't keep quite as well as in the small box, but at least I don't get below 18 degrees in the pots at night anymore, even though it's only 16 at the top 😅👍.
Since I switched to flowering, it was time to rinse off a bit with Clean Fruits :-) .
Did them a lot of good.
You have already received the first watering with Grow Liquid and the next in a mix with Bloom Liquid 😀👍.
Otherwise everything was cleaned and checked.

Final Week! Amazing grow! In the process of flushing. I have runoff ppm around 200. Still need to flush more and get runoff ppm under 100 then will chop. Probably 4 more days.

Harvested on Day67, this was a small and fast lady! Her stems were skinnier than most plants Ive grown, although her buds were massive. For how quick and small she is, I was surprised to get 75g dry.
I would recommend this strain to anyone. The phenos are a bit random, as well as the size of the plant, but the yields are great and honestly all the phenos are fire.

growth is continuing well. I should have packed the substrate a little more. a slight deficiency in mag appeared on 2 subjects that I corrected by spraying neem oil with calmag as well as spraying 0.5ml with liter calmag.
I received the new uv and infrared auxiliary lighting from marshydro that I installed on the rake. I think it's still cheap in terms of wiring and driver.
Finally, I plan to implement an lst this weekend.

Les plantes sont totalement givré,une forte odeur se dégage de la tente je ne serais dire ce que c'est. Une tige c'est brisé sous l'effet de la chaleur par conséquent changement d'ambiance pour ces dames.
- cette semaine j'ai enlevé les petites têtes qui n'allait pas gonflée pour permettre à la plante de rédiger l'énergie vers les colas principaux. Pour finir une des gorilla sherbet a des teintes rougeâtre violet a voir.

After a slow start, the lady has developed great.
Gelonede from Zamnesia grows small and bushy, can be trained and tied down very well.
After 42 days of rearing, it bloomed for 58 days. The sticky, dark green flowers smell of lemon ice tea.

Feb 13th: Seeds germinating in Paper towel
Feb 14th: Seeds started opening
Feb 15th: Seeds sprouting 👌
They all seem to be sprouting well, except the Royal Kush
Feb 16th: UPDATE! All seeds worked out well except for Royal kush, which still not sprouted, I think it´s a bad seed. I´ll give it more time anyways.
Just transplanted all other seeds to pots!
Feb 17th: I threw royal kush away and contacted the Seed Bank got some seeds on the way, all good I´ll start it a week later it´s not a problem.
Concerning the babies, (Green Gelato, Royal Gorilla, Northern Light, and Bulkberry) all of them grew out from the soil, I see some odd things but I´m hoping everything is going well
Feb 18th: All of them came out, some stronger and some slower but nature seems to be doing its thing 👽

Week 9 update for these two temperamental girls. They absolutely did not like the feeding I gave them a few feds back. Over all besides the yellow and crispy leafs they appear to be growing good. I'm only going to give them maybe two more weeks before they get the chop.
