La Auto Purple OG Punch purtroppo ha un po’ di problemi con il terreno forse perché avevo aggiunto troppi fondi di caffè verso le prime settimane e quindi ha reso il substrato poco drenante con il passare dei giorni e questo è un problema per le radici infatti si vede che non sta proprio bene e in salute come dovrebbe..ora cercherò di smuovere un po’ dove posso ma non voglio toccare troppo, magari annaffierò più raramente visto il tempo che ci mette per asciugare, dai forza 👏 ragazza mi aspetto grandi cose anche da te! Il problema siamo sempre noi e non di sicuro le piante 🌱 finché non sei sicuro di avere tutti i parametri sotto controllo ed essere certo che siano giusti per quella fase di crescita, solo allora puoi dire che una data genetica è più o meno stabile su vari aspetti, che sia resistenza alle muffe piuttosto che al freddo ecc…staremo a vedere come procede 🤞🧑‍🌾💥💚

Ready to be chopped down!! I’ve used this soil (Coast of maine growers mix) with synthetic nutrients and this run with their recommended organic plant food for auto flowers and their feeding schedule. **After a few grows with synthetic nutrients and this grow with organic matter, I’ve had much bigger/healthier plants going organic. :)

Chopped and I'll hang them in the he dry tent and keep it around 60rh/17c for as long as I can. 🤑 Update: got the tent at 15c/61rh and wow the buds have a different type of firmness than before. I can't wait... So far my best grow of the 3

Pheno #1 is getting fatter and fatter by the day although she is starting to fade out a bit. It’s a shame I had to tie her down because I swear her main cola would have been a foot long 😂She is also sensitive to light and has received slight amounts of burn and bleaching. She is the largest of the three but she has the least amount of resin and terpenes which is a bit unfortunate... She smells earthy, no banana scent or fruit terps like pheno #2. I still have about another 4+ weeks to go so that could easily change but we will see. I will try to be optimistic! Pheno #2 is a frost monster. She is completely covered in resin and trichromes. Her smell is out of this world, definitely has that banana fruity type smell. I don’t think I have smelt another strain quite like this so I’m very excited to see how she continues develop. Pheno #3 is a bit funky. She is stretching and getting bushier but she is extremely slow to flower. She has tons of shoots and bud sites. Almost every popcorn type branch at the very bottom raced to the top of the canopy. I feel like she hasn’t changed in the past couple weeks but maybe that’s just me being impatient. She is developing some interesting deficiencies but only on a couple leaves here and there. She is also somewhat lackluster compared to the other two. In my opinion she is a little dull looking... It’s odd to see how all three pheno’s are expressing different traits regardless of being grown in identical substrates with identical feeding schedules. It’s hard to say if it’s the genetics, substrate or the nutrients but I have a strong feeling it has more to do with the medium not being properly balanced. I normally would never grow with such a light substrate but DP grew theirs in a similar medium so I thought for the first time around I’d try to grow similar to their style. Next round I’m definitely going to switch it up and use the NFG or a custom soil blend I’ve been developing for auto flowers. It should be nice to see how a commercial soil compares to a homemade organic soil tailored for auto flowers. I’ll most likely run that experiment within a month or so once I get my new grow space setup. This week I’m going to lay off the nutrients and feed with some compost teas and microbes instead. In the video you can see my smaller brewing bucket. This is a mini-Microbulator along with an air stone. This allows for maximum dissolved oxygen saturation and also helps with preventing anaerobic spots in the brew. Set up a new space for future grows. 4/1: Fed today after topdressing with guano and rock phosphate. 4/3: Flipped to 12/12 today and started UVB stressing with 2 x 30-minute sessions a day. 4/4: Fed today and foliar fed with Axiom harpin proteins and boom boom spray. 4/7: Fed today..started adding a little Open Sesame and Signal to the mix along with sweet & sticky, One, silica, and calmag.

Esta semana fue divertida, tocó hacer el topping y el LST. Con respecto al primero, creo que podría haber esperado más tiempo ya que las ramas laterales del tercer nudo estaban muy chicas, pero estoy buscando estresar lo menos posible a la planta así que decidí hacerlo el día 40. Espere dos días a que la plante se recupere y las ramas comiencen a crecer e hice el LST. Hice un vídeo del topping + LST. Con respecto a los inputs, los primeros días de esta semana llovió mucho y las plantas se encuentran bajo un techo mínimo por lo que algo de agua las regó. El día del topping regué con FPJ y el día del LST regué con Compost tea + Melaza orgánica. Esto ha sido todo por ahora... Cualquier sugerencia es bienvenida! Buenos cultivos!😃

Day 29 29/07/24 Monday Nice feeding today with De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Gave her 300 ml and she had a small run off. Getting chunky in the stem now 💪💚 Day 31 31/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚 Day 32 01/08/24 Thursday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, there now taking 300ml every evening. Day 35 04/08/24 Sunday END OF WEEK 😁 De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron products. 300ml each. Had a issue with leaf invaders this week, I have treated and am checking every 48 hrs so far seems ok and not progressive. All plants look great, very healthy, one of the Overdose is way behind and due to space maybe culled at flower I'll see how she gets on.

Smooth few days after the defoliations. They seem to be happy. Malted Milk can be very temperamental but I have been catching on to her ways. Still wary with my feedings tho. Want to give all these different nutes and unknown what the results will be? Installed ac units in each room to ensure good temperatures and RH outside the tents. Hoping for another good week!

Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

The ladies bud growth is starting to take off! Got Some nute burn but honestly they’ve still been growing just fine. Candyland is undoubtedly the mother of all three! She is budding so beautifully! Stretching a lot at the moment, strong smell for only 2 weeks in flower. Pistils are now visible. As buds start to form. I moved the centre plant out as it was shorter than the others so looks a little more roomy now.

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)
