Today October 25th is the First day of Week 6 In Flower. Received the Refractometer and got right to pressing. First I tried a mortar and pestle to extract the sap -- this worked ok but took a lot of time and force. Then I tried 2 spoons held together and squeezed with vice grips (didn't work for me). 2 Pieces of MDF board squeezed together with vice grips didn't work either. I guess I'm not strong enough. Tried a blender, a hand blender...neither of these worked! Then the vice, it was faster and took less force to extract the sap. Works great! Took leaves from top to bottom of each individual plant. (16 plants) Rolled a few leaves up, put in a numbered piece of parchment and pressed.....voila...sap😃 Refractometer was already calibrated and ready to go. Placed sap on meter, held up to light and there it is! My first BRIX reading😮 using $28 Refractometer. Going to change base nutrients to a "hard water" formula. So impressed with Harley Smith that I've ordered some NPK RAW products. Like the idea of micro dosing. I sent Harley an email and he replied the same day! Not a canned response either. So cool. Thanks Harley! AND he took a look at GrowDiaries and this grow✊😃 What a kind gentleman. 😇 Hope I didn't go overboard but I watered again today with amino acids and cal mend to try to fix this Calcium def. Will Brix leaves tomorrow and see if this makes a difference. The brix line yesterday was very clear and very easy to read indicating a calcium def. Maybe locked out from too much phosphorous or hard water? Watered Oct 29 & 30 Temp 20 PH 6.4 EC 1.9 Runoff EC 1.9 to 2.3 after at least 2-3 Gallons of water put thru each pot. Some pots Runoff were way off the charts😵EC 3.6! . Put water thru until EC hit 2.3 on 2 pots others were EC 1.9 to 2.1. Put 56 Gallons or 220L thru plants over a 2 day period until I reached a better EC.

SECOND UPDATE - 27th of February 2020 - DRY WEIGHT & LOVE (smoke report to follow) 16. Nov. 2019 - 15. Feb. 2020 - 90 Days grown from Seed - Topped at Day 22 37g total dry weight, after I gave them a very nice trim. They started curing in glass jars on 20/2/2020 and are currently between 61-63%RH inside. Burping every other hour for couple of minutes. She's a beauty, her colors, her stickiness, everything. Her fade 😍😍😍She took well to late topping & nutrients, didn't show any overfeeding etc.; Lots of crystals started showing at the beginning of week 9; Started fading in Week 10 (might have been enhanced by Flawless Finish). Pink & Yellow leaves, orange hair, soooooooo many crystals. I’m in love whooooaaaaaaa 😍 Trimming her took me 2 days, never have I trimmed a plant that sticky, it's not hard, since only my 2nd grow, still... WOW 😍She was almost crumbling of glitter, very different experience from trimming the other plants. I tried collecting all her kief, just moving her from tray to tray, she lost a lot. I must say, collecting kief sucks, I don't have the right tools, it seems. Please share your trimming & collecting technique and tools. Also she lost a lot of calyxes, I was surprised there was still something on it 😱I collected those too hehe, who knows, maybe I decorate a Cannagar with it, this will be my next project. More details: Chop on 15. Feb 2020 - 316g Put in vase with PH water for 2 days in Dry Tent Trimmed on stem then Dry tent on 17. Feb 2020 (50% humidity & 20°C/68F) - 205g Out of dry tent 20. Feb 2020 in jars on stems Trimmed on 24. Feb 2020 - in jars @63% Total wet - no trim - 316g Total wet - trimmed - 205g Total dry - no trim - 63g Total dry - trim - 37g ----------------------- FIRST UPDATE - She is still drying and not yet trimmed or ready to show herself 😍Also I have a lot of respect trimming her, never had such a sticky plant... Can I just leave everything on??? 😁 I will update as I go on with her. She's a beauty, her colors, her stickiness, everything. Her fade 😍😍😍 Can't wait to trim her 🙏We have snacked a lot of her while she was still growing, almost all smaller buds (she had a lot) 😌I'm blaming science and documenting, but seriously, she was already really strong, wow wow wow. Day 90 - 15. Feb of 2020 - she was chopped and put in a vase full of PH water in a dark place for 48 hours. Day 92 - 17. Feb - she moved into the drying tent. Her trichomes were nicely amber with some milky and some clear, good mix. Only 3 days later - 20. Feb - I panic harvested her out of the tent. My two other plants got really dry, so I panicked and cut her stems down and put them into jars. So she had a total dry time of 6 days, if you include the 2 days in darkness. I monitored the humidity, it spiked up to 70%, that's when I took them out, spread them and aired them out for several hours. Back in the jars they sit at a comfortable 65% now, being burped and pampered every day

Second week of rinsing. The trichomes have finished developing. And I like the appearance of the plant. I place the plant in the dark for around 5 days. Period during which there will be no watering to allow the soil to dry and be able to Cut. See you in a few days!

UPDATE - Saturday 13th It’s been ok. The reason I have stopped filling out the amount of water I’m giving them is because they don’t get watered daily. I water them once every three or four days depending on other things going on. With soil having a how much water per 24h is pointless because the whole point of soil is to dry out slowly and if you want a big plant you end up in a HUGE pot which takes like a week or more to dry out! The amount I water is the amount of water in the bottom of the reservoir + 1/3 more.

Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. But still yellow. --- Decided to do a reservoir change. --- 4.5gal of distilled water --- 8ml of Sensi Grow A --- 8ml of Sensi Grow B --- 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- 4ml of B-52 --- 4ml of CaliMagic --- 4ml of Hydroguard --- 4 drops of Superthrive --- PH'd down to 5.8 --- Solution strength: 302 PPM --- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm). --- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. Week 3 of flower can’t wait to see it at week 7-10

Showing some signs of preflower but probably another week for veg. Topped girl looks healthy at 34 cm tall while the small one is 15 cm. Next run I will def have 4 girls inside the tent as it feels like there is plenty of room.

Hey growmies, After a feed, I like to water with molasses and the plants love me for it. I raised the light a few inches because they are stretching fast. I also topped dressed with worm castings and added a bio enhancer. Officially 18th day of flower. Happy growing 😎

The plants are doing quite well so far, but one is much bigger than the other. At first, I thought it was due to genetics. However, I'm starting to suspect that it might be my fault—specifically the frozen water bottle I use to regulate the reservoir temperature. If I don't use the ice bottles, the temperature rises above 22°C, but I think the roots of the smaller plant might be getting a cold shock. I’ve already learned a lot from this project that I will do right from the start in my next DWC grow 🙂

Ladies and gentlemen, today's day 27 of veg and as you can tell, I mainlined her . In the video I explain how I plan on mainlining, both tops after the fifth node.. But what I failed to mention was that I will also be topping again as well at that point.. So from there on it will be LST and try to get as good of a yield, as we can out of this girl.. Been a good week, did a few upgrades to get tent as automated as possible and it's been going great now that I can make changes anywhere instead of rushing home or asking for help to turn off or adjust 😆 Is it possible to start getting foxtail mid flower? Ending 4th week now. Bubble gum ice cream showing signs. Lights are about 36" away from canopy and dimmed to 75% [photontek 600w pro] Very powerful, been tempting to lower to 50% as it gets pretty warm. I have 8" blowing out and a 6" blowing in the tent to keep positive pressure and constant air flow. Let me know what you guys think, any comment or feedback is appreciated and welcomed. First Signs of Bloom! 🌸🚀 We’re now entering Week 5 since sprout, and my Auto Moon Rock by Divine Seeds has officially started her bloom journey! You can clearly see the first pistils emerging alongside vivid, toxic-green new growth. She’s staying compact but clearly packing power—this one has serious promise. Earlier in the run, I applied some gentle LST following a topping—yes, despite Divine Seeds’ recommendation not to top autoflowers like this one. But I trusted my instinct and the plant’s vigor—and she hasn’t disappointed! 💪 She handled the stress like a champ and bounced back with balanced, bushy growth and strong branching. 🌿 This week’s routine included: 🔸 BioBizz Grow – 2 ml/L 🔸 BioBizz CalMag – 0.5 ml/L 🔸 BioBizz Bloom – 2 ml/L (new!) 🔸 BioBizz TopMax – 1 ml/L (new!) 🔸 Homebrewed Compost Tea for microbial support 🔸 Effective Microorganisms for root vitality 🔸 Dechlorinated tap water 🔸 pH: 6.4 🔸 EC: 1300 µS/cm I also introduced a DIY CO₂ system (sugar, water, dry yeast)—and it’s bubbling away perfectly! I’m expecting even better growth now, especially as bloom ramps up. Once my CO₂ monitor arrives, I’ll start reporting ppm levels directly. 🌬️📈 📽️ Also up this week: a fresh Growlapse video! Always satisfying to see how much change a few days can bring when you fast-forward. She’s reacting well to every bit of training, nutrients, and environment. I have to say—Divine Seeds has bred a real gem here. Even though I went against the grain with topping, this cultivar showed resilience, structure, and strength. So far, I can highly recommend her to any grower who enjoys working closely with their plants. Let’s see how she stretches in the coming days. I’m expecting great things! 🍃✨

Tag 147: Die CBD 20:1 Auto von FastBuds war eine Geduldsprobe. Mit mehr als 20 Wochen Wachstum war Sie nicht wirklich eine Autoflower. Die Blütenstände sind zwar groß, die einzelnen Blüten jedoch sind sehr luftig, was die weitere Trocknung sicher noch verstärkt. Ich hätte mir ein kurzes Statement von FastBuds in der Wachstumszeit gewünscht. Schließlich sieht die große nicht aus, wie im Katalog. Tag 154: Es sind 46 Gramm zitronig und süß riechende trockene luftige Buds geworden.
