Today is day 16 since coming out of the ground. I have to say I am surprised by the tempo of the growth. In my previous grow of these strains it took much longer. I attribute this to the Bilberry Lamp. It is going on 50% of its power but you can see just how well they are growing. If they continue to go in this tempo I might shorten the veg period by a week or so. I have fed them for the first time this week. I gave them 1ml of BAC Organic Grow and minimal doses of Root Stimulator and CalMag. Normally I would not do this, I would just give them the root stimulator but I know these strains like to “eat” a lot when they develop so I prefer to give them something to avoid a deficit in the future. Pheno one is going great, looks perfect and just like the previous Gelato I did from Humboldt Sherbinskis line. Pheno two has show another small mutation. You can see that one blade on the second fan leaf is a little deformed. However the development rate of the plant is fantastic, it is slightly better than Pheno one but Pheno one shows no mutations. I STILL have NOT decided wich one of the two I will leave for flowering. As I wrote before I don't like leaving things up to chance and I always do at least a small selection. So this week I did a few upgrades in my garage. First off, I insulated the garage itself to minimize wasting energy keeping my garage warm. Secondly I put a little space heater to help keep my temps more consistent, especially when my lights go out for 8 hours it tends to drop into the mid 50’s, which personally is too low for veg for me anyway. My babies are starting to do some growing now, and with this weeks little bump up in nutrients, I think they will begin to take off. I went up with the calmag as I’m using 100% coco coir as my medium, and it really does eat up a lot of Calmag. I think my babies will get nice and green and have a nice life in my updated garage. Lemme know what y’all think, I’m happy to share and document not only successful grows, but failures also with everyone. We need to humble ourselves and learn to be better from one another everyday. This week is the last week before water flush. Today I start only with the water and in a few days, I'm going to harvest. I can't wait to test the quality of the crops.

Last two weeks were pretty harsh for the plants. This is week 10 and in Week 11 I will harvest due to moving to a new appartment. Summer hit with full force and a struggled to have a day without humidity or heat issues. Tried to nail the VPD which worked but I had to run high humidity in high temperatures. The Blueberry started to become purple and the Weddign Glue started to die. Maybe due to the heat, I did my best to keep her alive.

This was one of my first grows back when I was using cheap red & blue LEDs and it still turned out okay, I was'nt going to put this grow on Grow Diaries because of the purple photos but I decided to anyway just incase anyone was interested to see, I would like to grow this strain again under better conditions.

12/30/23 - Day 54 - Hello All! I started this week a day early. I wanted to update everyone on something I have been thinking about a lot. Curing. I feel if there was a hole in my growing skills it would be curing. Last grow there was more than I had anticipated. I was not set up for curing 1 lb. I threw in an audible at the last minute. It worked out but I know I can improve with some trial and error and hands-on experience. So after reading a ton, and going off of some of my prior builds for drying, I came up with this design. I have a controller that will turn the air on and will run when the contents inside the box hit whatever RH% I want to set it at. I think the first week I will set it for 78%RH, then every couple of days go down a % until I hit 62%. The thought is that if the bucket gets above the set RH% then the air will kick on and distribute air across the buds until the RH% is back down to where you want it. It will force the humidity out. I won't need to worry about burping. It will happen on its own.... in theory. Ill update tomorrow with some pictures after the water change. 12/31/23 - Day 55 - Everything is looking good. The water change completed this morning while I was in the shower. Its adding nutes now and will do so over the next hour or so. She is starting to get stinky. I had to add the extra carbon filter to the room. I've got some pics up top of that. Happy New Year! Next time I post it will be in 2024! Have a great night and be safe! I got a comment on the bushy-ness and I got self-conscious and gave her a trim. Lol I have been going bath and forth for a while and that gave me the push to give her a little trim. She looks great and is growing really quickly. Ill update with more pics as it goes along.

She's looking very very healthy and still trying to give her a perfect shape before I hit flower or before I changed the light cycle if you would. So let's see how this lady performs!
