Hi Senhor, to me it looks like a mushroom because it's so white and it looks a bit fluffy in the picture, but the good news is that it's probably just a nothing. The bad news is that i'm seeing some discoloration starting on the serrated edges of the leaf. That's a magnesium deficiency i guess, what happened is you're growing soiless actually. Peat moss is soiless, perlite is soiless , rice husk and calcium carbonat , all of them are soiless so together they are also soiless. That's why you're missing magnesium. So just dont forget to add cal mag and the problem will stop spreading and the plant will recover quickly. Hope this helps ! πŸš€

To be brutally honest with you based on what I see- both seedlings look like genetics gone wrong. Every now and then, you come across a seedling that grows super small with the leaves curled under like yours. You can wait a little longer and try to save them but my guess is that they will continue to grow abnormally. If you are using true potting soil there should be more than enough nutrients to get a seedling started and as long as the clay pot has drainage in the bottom, it should be fine too. Don’t over water, use PH’d (6-6.5) dechlorinated water if possible and keep your temp around 75-80 degrees with some air flow moving over/around the plants at all times. I hope that these little ladies pull through and I’m completely wrong on the genetics gone wrong but based on what I’ve seen in my own garden- they just don’t look right to me. Good luck my friend! πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

Hi Senhor, I looked over your diary and made a couple of observations that I hoped to share, I myself am a new grower too and always learning, when all things are in unison oxygen within the root zone is the limiting factor of growth, not only that if there is no evaporation within soil then the only thing in those clay/plastic pots that are using up the moisture is the roots of the tiny teeny little plant barely past the seedling stage, all the days of your diary are wet wet wet, you should barely need to water for the first week and the consequence of overwatering in a closed plastic/ceramic pot is always worse if stagnation takes hold within the root zone. The little heavy green leaves are heavy with water, they have sucked up as much as they can, but photosynthesis is slow, as the soil becomes gets wetter and wetter, less and less oxygen reaches the roots until the roots start to suffocate and dye, eventually leading to root rot or just severely stunted growth depending on how long it's left with a high RH% within the soil. Some tips to help get back on track. Set ambient temp intent to 82, lower your light until the top of the canopy reaches 86, and the leaf surface temperature for optimal photosynthesis occurs at 86 farenheight. We want it warm, you must also keep RH below 50% at soil level, so long as it stays above 50RH% moisture, in general, won't evaporate, we want to try and keep it in a constant state of drying, cycle, absolutely never fear about underwatering, the plants are hardwired to "hibernate" to reserve moisture content, when you see leafs drooping just throw in some water and the plant will spring back to life, a little drought stress is also beneficial to keeping a healthy cycle, once you have a better understanding of bacteria you soon realize that so long as you keep a constant state of change bacteria/stagnation can never take hold. I highly suggest getting them into airports, this will almost eradicate overwatering as an issue, you will really be able to hone watering skills along with being able to read the plant and let it tell you when it wants water. PH is also low add some dolomitic lime What the others said about PH is also corrrrrect. Good luck. stop fertilizing/feeding seedlings with 6 leafs, Molasses>? no point unless its near flowering, use powdered molasses, anything syrup based will be a breeding ground for bacteria too if soil is not kept aerated.

You really need to get that ph up. Soil is between ph 6.0 and 6.8. Coco 5.5 and 6.5

@SenhorCamarao, that sounds great to me growmie. it's always nice + necessary to have the cal mag on hand. you have a good plan, but the important part is that it should work, and having some liquid cal mag available is a good way to assure it will work well πŸš€

@CRiSPrGrow, Thanks man, really nice considerations... so, about the calmag, you are absolutely right and it does make sense look to buy a liquid cal mag considering the benefits, im pretty sure that is easy to find here where i live. I think that this calmag i'll probably will only use it in my seedling stages to support it against that discoloration on the serrated edges that you have mentioned , something that only takes about 15 days in each cicle. My final soil is already ready, i had inoculate it with indigenous microorganism and its resting for 3 months, i have feed them with humic and fulvic acids and i also have here some microbes that i'll introduce on it soon like trichoderma and mycorrhizae.

@SenhorCamarao, the more processed stuff (like liquid calmag) is more predictable and stable. the stuff you have that's more to augment your medium with than to spray. who knows what kinda microbes will grow out of the sea shells and ocean powder you get me πŸ˜… , there's an issue you can encounter regarding pH for that reason , fluctuations that sort of thing, just be on the look out because growing natural doesnt mean growing blind so monitor your conditions as regularly as possible. Another issue is that it's hard for such things to be broken down that quickly by soil microbes, and since you're in a soiless set up, you'll probably want to augment the microbiology of your root zone by innoculating with beneficial bacteria like bacilus sublitis and other microbes like trichodema harzianum ... growing natural is a whole thing, it's a way of thinking, just ask away if you have any questions. (and while you're out shopping , can i recommend picking up some humic acid ? )

Just want to duck in here and give you another possibility for the white dot - I didn't see your question until you had "solved" it... it MAY be the beginning of powdery mildew - if it is, you will see it spreading quickly and will need to take action before it kills your grow. Your grow looks quite wet but you may have just watered it before taking the photo... I'd also be very careful not to get water ON the leaves when you water/feed as this can lead to light burn but your diary doesn't give any information on how much you water or how high your lights are from the plant. Good luck!

@GrowingGrannie, Hello my friend, thanks for sharing knowledge. Sorry about the lack of information in my diarie, i dont really have learned how to use this plataform correctly and i've been having some troubles trying to add some infos like my grow RH, temperature, etc. So, inside my grow the average RH is around 55% and the temperatura is around 25ΒΊC (77ΒΊF). Im generally watering with 10% of the pot volume (50ML) everytime i fell that the soil is almost dry. and it was a mistake mark it as solved lol as i said im still need to learn more about GrowDiaries tools
