Hi Growmies,
welcome back to week 5 of my Fast Buds Auto Grow!
Weather and Conditions
The past days have been warm but not extreme. No rain at all during this period, which is starting to become noticeable now — especially as my rain barrels are slowly running low.
Temperatures have been stable in a comfortable summer range, without any real extremes. The greenhouse still builds up a good amount of heat during the day, but overall conditions are fairly balanced.
Water management is slowly becoming more important again, as everything now depends fully on irrigation without any natural rainfall support.
Growth
The ladies have officially entered the pre-flower stage and the stretch is fully underway. Every day they are noticeably taller and are quickly filling out the available space.
Papaya Cookies is currently leading the pack. She is already showing slightly coloured pistils, and the first proper bud sites are clearly forming. Apricot and Tangie are just a bit behind but are also stretching heavily and starting to stack nicely.
At this point, I’ve stopped all LST. From here on out I don’t want to stress the plants during this sensitive transition phase anymore. The risk of hermies is not worth it, so I’ll let them grow naturally from now on.
Feeding
Last week I started feeding with T.A. TriPart nutrients together with T.A. CalMag, as I assumed the Plagron Bat Mix was starting to run low on nutrients.
Apricot reacted with slight nutrient burn on a few leaf tips, while the other two handled the feeding without issues. Some older leaves have started yellowing, which suggests the soil is indeed slowly running out of available nutrients.
For now I’ll slightly reduce the feed strength for Apricot and keep observing how all three respond over the next days.
Pests
First signs of leaf miner activity showed up on a few leaves. I removed the affected leaves immediately and will keep monitoring the situation closely, but for now everything remains under control.
Apart from that, still no aphids, thrips or snail damage — so overall I’m happy on that front.
Final Thoughts
Despite a few small issues, I’m really happy with the overall progress. The stretch is in full swing, flowering has clearly started, and the girls are developing nicely.
Now the real flowering show is about to begin.

the temperatures dropped a bit and I did what I could...❄️❄️
Earlier this week I had to flush this little one because I thought she had nitrogen toxicity. Maybe not...
But From the water that ran out I realized that the soil was full of nuts and after the flush I didn't give it any more water. as I use a 12 liter vase, you can imagine how much water was retained in the root system. for that reason and because the water is good quality and has an amount of micronutrients, I didn't have to worry about giving water this week. let's see next week, wish me luck 🤞☺️🌞

There’s a few things I’d personally change if I was to grow fat Banana again. But this time round she was very resistant to high temperatures and humidity during Flower. She holds on to nitrogen so I’d definitely feed her less on the nutrients as she is a light feeder.

Hey guys ! 40th day of veg 👽 The mothers are getting big
They're enjoying the 2.4 EC for real 😤
I also put the Migro Aray 4 to 100% intensity so that was quite a good boost together 😊
I fimmed & made some LST on almost every plants, which is nice to enhance growth !

Week 8: Steady Bloom & Vacation Prep
Update: 10.07.2025 | Day 58
Weather stabilized around 25°C with occasional rain - ideal conditions. Gave another mild dose of dissolved Biotabs + Bokashi juice (1:100). Rain refilled water tanks just in time: Vacation coming up! Midweek my grow buddy takes over (fingers crossed).
Here are the main characters:
Forbidden Runtz
Pure bloom focus now - minimal height gain. Sugar leaves turning frosty daily. Aroma intensifies: Sweet candy meets earthy skunkiness (yes, we're making that a word!). Buds point skyward, thickening noticeably. Pistils showing beautiful color variations - not just white anymore.
Green Crack
Surprise performer! Bud structure defied expectations: Fewer sites but chunky indica-style nugs instead of wispy sativa candles. Already sticky to the touch with impressive frosting. That glorious mango scent is creeping in - imagine it at peak swell! Easily 3+ weeks left.
Bruce Banner
She's still stretching like your yoga teacher!
Not full bloom yet – new shoots exploding everywhere. Bud sites multiplying like rabbits. Light frost/mild smell now… but genetics don’t lie. FastBuds Tangie flashbacks intensify. This will be explosive soon.
Wrap-up:
This grow's the anti-stress champ compared to last year's coco/nutrient math marathon. Just observing, responding, and trusting the plants.
Low-budget (Bokashi juice and only 1 smashed biotab), high-satisfaction. Learned from 2024 but 2025? Pure joy.
I hasn't always to be complicated!

So the tall royal gorilla( second from the left in the back. that, to me , looks like it has horrible genetics or it just couldn't handle the stress of topping and the burn. It's still gunna produce well just. Scrawny.
My critical thunder from msnl is shorttttttt love it for an Afghan cross. And the most green. And full.
Lots of calyxes are forming finally.
I removed the, now clear , male from the tent and I did something...... Well white trash ( no pun intended) . In my eyes. But in a ingenuity kind of way.
I got a cheap ass rolling trashcan meant for outdoors. Like 20$. I already had an extra. So I put the male in it and it fit perfectly. Cut off everything from the plant except the top of the two main stalks. It fits perfectly. I put a old light I used to use for seedlings in the top. And threw a light blanket over it. . I have it on the other side of the house. . Check the video. It's actually kinda cool 😂
Also feeding their flowering nutes next week. In SMALL amounts. I did add bud honey. Which does the same as just good molasses but better. This soil has a lot of micros and macros that'll love it.
But the rest of the girls are going fine and I'll be starting a new diary for be on the look out 😎

Heating Mat to keep temp in 80’s
Day15)( Week 3 Day1) No water,good Added Mushie Man
Day 16) idk if I’m right but growth seems a lil slow hopefully nothings wrong
Day 18) Added c02 yesterday night , gonna put the lights at 50 watts
Day19) Feeding stronger, keep bringing light up more as the plant grows so it’s 30 inches above the plant
Day20) GROWTH IS AMAZING , idk if it’s the co2 or it’s just getting older, prolly both either way it’s great news, moving light up more, I’ll start LST on Sunday which is day 22, cleaning fan cause of humidifier ( tap water), keep humidity in high 50s and temp above 80 , for humidity reasons I only turn on in-line fan for a couple hours some afternoons
Day 21) Fed Calmag, grow and micro to tap water(PH 6.2), added more coco to the top,will LST tmrw

She is doing very well pollination was a success the new stain she create should be off the chain patiently waiting.....wonder whats the name gonna be 🤔 do a lil more defoliation nxt week n that should be it till the end.....#happy growing til nxt week....
Ps.. pot is a 25gal but only used 1/3 of it

Day 21 of flower (day 72 since germination). The plants have continued to grow at, but the vertical growth slowed down mid week, and I think it is done not. One stem on the middle plant grew past the lights, again, so that stem got supercropped a second time. I found a couple more pollen sacs on the right plant on Tuesday, but I think they were just missed on the first round of plucking, so I removed them. I haven't seen anymore since and I've been checking the full length of every stem. I received a roots organics dry amendment sample pack from Aurora so I top dressed each pot with 1TBSP of Phos Rock and 1TBSP of Super Phos Rock (I only used both because I didn't have enough to feed a full dose of just one). Each plant was also fed 700mL compost tea, today, that was brewed for 24 hours.

Start of week 3 blueberry is flowering and the stretch is almost over. The seedlings are growing nicely.the box got up to 100f this week during mini heat wave had to put ice blocks in rez to lower temp down from 80f. I look forward to the 3 other new strains I’m running. My GSC seedling is looking a little pale I should have waited longer to change rez over to bloom nutes. I have top dressed some organic fertilizer near drip line of nutes 4-6-4 one month release. I applied to all seedlings except blueberry. I reduced blumat on gsc, ww, and ch until surface dried a little bit as my gsc was showing signs of overwatering. Gsc is starting to green back up. My bb had to nanners i plucked them I hope these are all. It could be from the high temps or the one night I had a light leak. BB larger plant receving 1000 ppfd.i turn light back down a notch Gsc leaves started cupping now she’s getting just 550 along with other seedlings.will continue to monitor for improvement and ramp lights up a little later if needed as plants should grow into light.

RQS Diesel Automatic is about one week above ground now and looking strong. Just getting water so far. Will start some LST on her once she starts showing a few nodes. She's front-center in the group pics.
