Just at the end of week # 2 in bloom , LST training is going well and the canopy is pretty full , cooler outside temps allow me to use my co2 burner and they are all looking great with lots of bud sites and liking the nutrient balance, made new nuits today and it went from 1400 to 1150 in two feedings , one more week of stretch and then I will finish the under canopy cleanup and plan on a light defoliation at week 4 of bloom. The 8 Ball Kush is really showing great growth and it’s early on , should be some huge buds this crop , the Blue OG Kush is healthy , it’s my first time with it so I’m not sure what it grows like . So in the last couple of weeks I tried to make the night time temperature go down enough for them to turn color and they did - the sugar leaves turned a deep bluish green, really nice coloring! I harvested over a 2-day period. Day 1 I hand-plucked the sugar leaves off plants # 1, 2, & 3. Day 2 I hand-plucked plants 4 & 5, trimmed all of them and cut them down whole. I hung them to dry in my closet/former grow room with a boot tray of water with a towel for evaporation. My last grow was a disappointment in the end due to me not realizing how dry it is in the house (here in the living room it's 19% RH due to it being January in Canada and the hot water heating radiators are going full time). When they were dry enough, I did the final trimming, removing all the waste and dividing the buds into 2 classes: Top tier which are the nice tops of the big colas, and 2nd tier, which are the rest. I think I'll learn to make hash with the 223 grams of wet sugar leaves. I'll be adding more to this final entry in the coming days - this has been really tiring! Final numbers for 5 ShishkaBerry plants: Top tier buds (dried not cured) 372g 2nd tier buds (dried not cured) 150g Hand plucked sugar leaves (wet) 223g Waste (Sticks, stems, burnt leaf tips) 128g I'm basing my comments on the taste by the glove-hash I smoked - wow it's really good! I'm looking forward to next month when these buds will be ready to enjoy 😁 I'd like to thank all my new friends here and the other growers that have helped me along the way 😚 Finally, I left you with an outtake video from one of the defoliation sessions 😺 Stay tuned for updates... UPDATE 1: Today I might have made some tincture or something, not sure. I slow-roasted the dried but not cured previously hand plucked sugar leaves and crumbled them up and put them in a mason jar (51 grams 100% dry weight) and added a little bottle of Absolut Vodka (375 ml). I shook the mixture vigorously for a couple of minutes then placed it in a cool area of the house to sit for a few weeks before a first test - not totally sure what I'm doing here). UPDATE 2: Possibly made Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) out of the Alsolut vodka - ShishkaBerry mixture: I strained it so that there was no plant material, reduced it in a double boiler style, not sure what to do with the gooey stuff that's left as a result.

8/23 shes smelling so much like blueberries💚 im super concerned with the amount of leaves my plants are cannibalizing/ losing. They've been turning yellow and then eventually golden brownish crisp and fall off. The leaves that are falling off, only seem to be fan leaves and all the leaves around the pistils/main parts of branches/plant, all seem to be intact and very healthy still. I hope she's able to stay healthy till the finish of the grow. First outdoor grow. Learning experience 💚🤘I should have added some fish meal in the middle of July so she had some nitrogen for the beginning of flowering. I'm concerned the leaves lost is due to nitrogen deficiency. But I'm 3 weeks into flower and dont want to confuse her with more nitrogen than I have been giving 8/24 fed some more open sesame. 8/28 thinking my plants have been having a ph lock out causing magnesium deficiency

12/18 4am CANNAKAN!!!! Giving my FAST Flowers a try. A late spring early summer grow. CannaKan is my new best friend, I had a 100 per cent success rate last time!!! Ok I got it all done at 5:30 am, I set the Temp to 88 MPH or the Time Machine wont work, EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT! Marty will meet me in the parking lot at the mall, I have a great feeling about this. 11am Room temperature is 73. Heating Pad set to 88. Water temp 77.7 PERFECT!! 2:30pm blue dream is already starting to open. I think Tropicana cookies looks like she’s opening a little bit. They should all be open by tomorrow. It’s only been about nine hours.👍👍. 11:30pm They all opened. I drained the water put in new distilled water, made sure water level was right. Looks great!!!! 12/19 4am The temp looks good, all are opening nicely. I have to get the pots ready now, put on new stickers, they help identify the plants from different angles, especially in photos. Im doing a low power fast turn around grow in easy to move 1 gallon pots. They will all be topped above the 3rd node, then the bottom or 2nd to the bottom branches will be cut off to achieve a 4 cola grow. Very simple, easy to manage. 11am. 2:30pm, 5:30pm..so tired, finish in the morning. 12/20 12 am 1:30am Just finished TC & GS I had a little trouble seating GS, TC no problems, takes a while to learn. BD is still sprouting, not a long enough tail to bury yet. 9am I think im getting another CannaKan. 10am 👍👍👍 12/21 Put BD in the pot, not sure if she will go or not, I'm firing up the CannaKan and doing another, since its a photo I will keep it in Veg until my next grow cycle. I may do a full 3 gallon grow with this one and take clones, this is fun!!!! gardening, who knew? The new filter paper I got is a little thicker than what came with it takes longer to sink, more dramatic, I got medium in that blue box from amazon. 7am Tropicana Cookies is the Winner of fastest to sprout, she looks great! GS has the shell and skin, it could still fall naturally so I'll wait. BD is unchanged. Micro-surgery on TC got the skin off and she popped right open!! 12:30pm SUCCESS!!! 4 hours later, she's PERFECT, worked GREAT!!! I NEVER thought I would be able to do seed surgery. That was my 3rd time doing that, success every single time! 4pm looks good. 12/22 9am. all look great, GS is taking off VERY strong overnight, TC has taken root her main stalk is already thick!! BD #2 is almost ready. I kept BD#1 underwater too long...then I accidentally ripped her head off this morning......so really not my fault......shhhhh..... 1 pm BD looks perfect 🤩 almost ready. 330pm Did the transplant...I really need to work on that....so nervous when I do it. Im not paid for this but CannaKan is one of the best products Ive ever used. I need lots of practice planting the radicles ...""In botany, the radicle is the first part of a seedling (a growing plant embryo) to emerge from the seed during the process of germination. The radicle is the embryonic root of the plant, and grows downward in the soil (the shoot emerges from the plumule)""..... I had to look radicle up... It makes a complete difference, I dont lose seeds now It just a million times easier using CannaKan.

So this week the tent really started filling up, lots of new growth probably going to flip next week just giving the mac 1 time to root in a new 7 gallon bag as she was far too big for her 3 gal one and is definitely female 😀 I’m planning on just keeping all six at this point harvesting as plants/branches are ready. heavy defoliation is in order soon

After a weeks growth in four litre pots I defoliated them ready to go into flower. Started feeding them full strength with coir feed even though they are in soil. Looking happy so far, I'm tight on space so will keep them in check if I can as they flower.

One more week up we go :) i'.m doing 14h light 5h out 1h light 4 out since they are enjoying it so much i'm going to keep it up until i change to 12/12. the one hour ligth in the midle is just to prevent them from switching to flower. I'm Trying too keep it arround 500 umol/s/m2 for a total of 15h a day ligth for now this guives me a 27.00Mol/M2Day, i know i could go up to 34.00Mol/M2Day but sometimes less is more and i dont want to take my girls to a point were they are so tired that they cant process more light I'm learning and testing all this since it's my first time growing with this tecnologie , but i belive we have to keep moving fowerd and i belive this is the road to walk 😅 Girls: 1-BlueBerry 2-Alaskan Purple 3-Poyote Gorilla 4-Hindu Kush 5-Whitw Mango 6-Super Glue 7-Badazz Cookies 8-S.A.D. tent -8x8 / 2.4x2.4 but i'm only using 1/2 so 4x4 / 1.2x1.2 Led - Lumatek 465w Compact Pro at 75% All i Grow is medicine for myself, Stay safe, stay tuned and B Happy Peace out

I started germination of 3 Sweet Zkittlez beans on 29/12/2020 (now sweet zenzation). I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my experience with Sweet Zkittlez. I've only grown this one out once. Did her up in a 1 gallon SOG grow. It had a very impressive main cola. With quality bud structre and trichome production. The plant had a very luring sexy odor. I was very satisfied with the results. The variety got extra hungry for both p and k mid flower. A little bit needier but definitely worth the extra attention. Very excited to see the results in a full size plant. Giving thus a variety a chance to show me full swing.

Day 65. Fungus gnats back. Letting soil dry completely. It works to get get rid of them. Buds are fattening up nice. Was going to do flush this week but think I’m going to feed couple more times. They are responding well. Tricombs are milky. Two more weeks I’m thinking. OG kush looking good and green. Getting frosty. Day 67. Feed all plants. Starting flush in a Day. OG got bloom nutes. Day 68. Flushed both purple Lemonade. OG kush has a while to go. Day 69. Feed OG kush.

Apologies for not updating last week. She is the last girl left in the tent so I decided to get some canes and spread her out to the extents of the tent. She is progressing, the hairs are turning but have not gone very dark yet. Still some 'new' white hairs around. I have not even looked at the trichomes yet, the flowers look quite airy at this stage. As there are no other diaries of this strain I'm flying by the seat of my pants here 😂 I'm thinking at least another 3 weeks left..

01/20- Girls are growin. Some are a lil upset about the fan hitting them, better than mold. I have gone through 48 gallons of water over the last week!

This week I made a couple of changes. 1st, I moved the time lapse camera to the other side of the tent and set it to take a pic every 10 mins instead of 5. Then on Monday, I started with the nutes and since now I had to mix them up, I decided to test an auto watering system using a fountain pump and a plant watering kit with hoses and tips that I got at a dollar store no less. Still a growing curve to get the right amounts, as you will see in the time lapse I had a little spill over in one pot. I will play with them more this week to fine tune the amount, then set it on timer and just keep filling the bucket and testing the ph. So far the girls are getting bigger and I ordered a net from Amazon to try the ScrOG method as they get bigger still to keep the height down and spread them out some more and eventually get a better yield at harvest time. I am also going to do a little topping this coming week. I also added an air bubble stone to the bucket to keep the nutes mixed up.

The black diamond from zamnesia was grown outside while the rest where inside the tent look how beautiful my black diamond turned out left all alone no feed or water for 5 months I returned to find this im in scotland so you know its very hard to grow out here
