This week, the weather outdoors was very hot and dry. The outdoor plant is looking healthy and vigorous, but it has not yet started showing any signs of flowering. Indoors, the plant is now on Day 35 since the light cycle was switched to 12/12. It is already producing a very sweet, grape-muffin-like aroma. I really like this strain, as it performs exceptionally well both indoors and outdoors.

8/17 Week 5 Flipping Lights set to 11-13 for the first few days then 12-12 Nuets will transition accordingly Reducing feeds to once a day during the switch Intro Cocotek Bloom a/b at 5ml/gal each Reduce Grow to 10ml/g each Next feed half and half 8/19 Switching to 12-12 from 11-13 think its done its work changes are afoot 8/20 Colas forming quickly may have to flip the week to Flower, lets hope so 😉 They getting a dose of Kangaroots 5ml/g and Fish Shit 2ml/g at intervals during transition purely as plants seem to need. Week 1 (31-1 to 6-2) As for my waterings, i give RO water, with 0.50 grams of Calcium, and 0.2 ml of Atami Rootbastic a liter. Growdiaries wont let me put my nutrients in grams so i'm forced to choose mililiters. 31-1 Watering: 20 ml. 1-2 Watering: 20 ml. 2-2 Watering: 20 ml. 3-2 Watering: 20 ml. Heights: Chemdog#1: 6cm Chemdog#2: 5cm 4-2 Watering: 40 ml. 5-2 Watering: 20 ml. 6-2 Watering: 60 ml. Heights: Chemdog#1: 6.5cm Chemdog#2: 5.5cm

week 5 when the thrips first showed themselves. I noticed them cuz some silver stains started appearing on some leaves. you can see them better under LED light. So, I sprayed Neem Oil all over the plant. I could notice that if you don't do it well, spraying and rubbing the leaves with a piece of cloth, the oil will also create some stains. 2nd topping. killed some thrips this week, they're cute and didn't seem to harm the plant seriously. Neem oil worked fine to control them. No other pests that I could notice + Defoliation + LST Flowermind (4ml + 0.5g)

D78. The second LED strip light arrived today, and I installed it to cover the right side of the tent. No clue if these sidelights will contribute much, but it's at least noticeably brighter in the lower canopy now. ------------------------------ D80. It looks like my campaign against the pesky thrips is successful. A few days ago, I could find both adults and larvae within seconds when scouting, but today it took me over five mins to find one single larva. Good riddance! ------------------------------ D83. Almost at the end of week six of flower, the girls are rocking it in the tent, getting fatter and smellier daily. I still haven't been able to find any thrips, so it looks like the lacewings were effective. The predatory mites that I also added are probably not necessary, but I wanna be sure all those pesky thrips are dead. There isn't anything to do in the tent now, and everything is running on autopilot, which is excellent as I'm going out of town tomorrow. I gave each girl 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.3, with humic acid and FFJ. That'll hold them over until I'm home again in a couple of days. ------------------------------

Day 15 - The start of week 3 and the girls are really taking off, from 1-2 Inches of vertical growth daily. Consuming a good amount of water, almost leaving the bucket empty. lol. Lightly defoliating to keep the bud sites exposed to light, as they get bushy very fast and recovery is only taking a day for them to bounce back. Pretty happy with how things are going right now. Slightly increased the EC by .2 but not enough to burn them.. which is the goal. Grateful for my trolmaster unit as it has made keeping tracking of my parameters much easier and effortless. Day 16- Topping up the res with RO water every two days. Otherwise I'm sure it would be empty! Pistils are showing and the bud sites are very visible. Seeing one pheno with slightly more sativa dominant traits. Luckily I took clones so I can run the best pheno next time around, although all these plants are special. Still going through the flower stretch. Excited for what is to come. Stay tuned for the results. Day 18 - As you can see, the difference is night and day over a period of 2 days they have had an explosion of growth. They were heavily defoliated on day 17 and bounced back within a day. Another week has passed and this lady seems to have recovered from last week's sudden problems. I just kept feeding with clear water, I suspect low PH and my solution fixed it. I also raised the light a little more, this SP 3000 is a true beast of a light, and especially the Kush in the middle couldn't handle it that well. Thank you @MarsHydroLED I did some final defoliating, only bundled up leaves and leaves covering major bud sites. This Orange Hill Special is something else though, Im happy to grow this, she is pretty and sophisticated in all, almost majestic. The buds are speckled with orange hairs, the shape of each like a round ball of ice cream. She was pretty from seedling on and looking back, I would have loved some offspring of this pheno. She is a thrill and no signs of male parts on this one, although it can happen with this strain. So glad I have some more seeds and cant wait to put a tentful of this. Don't let its low score dissuade you, yes there is a chance she hermies but when she doesn't my my my... Check em out here @DutchPassion_Official She smells of orange and tangerine with a very strong hazy undertone. This combination promises a great smoke and frankly, I cant wait.
