Growing fast - have the start of 16 cola locations and starting to work some of them back towards the middle of the plant. Lots of training - noticing that the ground cover is a bit too aggressive and getting in the way of light distribution so having to trim that back quite a bit. Also its making it hard for the training ties to stay in the ground. Weekly nutes continue with same mix above.

Sorry for the late post had a very busy period. The buds are great, good feedback from patients. First time I've been able to taste a fully organic bud and I can say I won't be going back!

Flowering! Return of the gnat issue this week. I am adding more gnat traps and adding a fan to point at the soil to dry it out. Lower leaves occasionally turn yellow and die off. About 5 a day. Still feeding RAW BLOOM at about 1.5tsps per gallon.

Week 4 is flower-week! All of our ladies showed signs of pre-flower last week, now there are already visible buds growing. We had to adjust the height of #1 & #2 once again because #3 is just growing crazy. Can't go any higher than the current position without redesigning our whole setup so this will be the final adjustment (hopefully!). #2 is obviously very different from the other ones, she's a little behind in growth. Though, she does have outstanding red colored petioles in comparison to her mostly just green sisters. We increased the amount of nutrients for them since they'll need much more now. This is plant #3/3. She grows way too high for our liking but that's what we expected from the beginning anyways. We continuosly had to adjust the light and the height of the other plants until we can't go higher right now. So wherever #3 wants to grow to now, she's probably getting sunburned from our lamp.

I am dropping a Auto Banana Kush seed from Weed Seeds Express. I scuffed both ends lightly. I placed it in the water, and covered it up. I will plant in 24 to 48 hours once plant shows the tap root tail. I will be using Athena blended line nutrition in a 5 gallon dwc. She will be under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. The strawberry gorilla is a really pretty plant. The stems are super reddish purplish. All of the leaves are starting to get a red and rainbow color to them. The plant really smells like gorilla glue it’s really nice. The plant is stacking really nicely even without super extreme light durring the strech. It’s definitely prone to stacking large colas. This is a winner I might have to try this plant again in the fut

Today, I spent some time tying down branches under the net again. It’s still a tricky task as the branches are quite brittle and break easily. Fortunately, the plants recover quickly, and so far, I’ve mainly noticed new growth sprouting from where the branches broke. Watering Experiment: Too Much or Just Right? Two days ago, I decided to give each plant an additional 2 liters of water to test the effects of what felt like overwatering. The results were interesting: High Humidity: The relative humidity spiked to 74%, which I consider a minor downside. Lower Temperature: Dropped to 29°C. Explosive Growth: The plants responded with vigorous growth! Given the humidity increase, I’ve decided to water the plants heavily only once a week. This approach should give them time to rest and prevent the growth of more mushrooms in the soil—yes, I’ve spotted a few popping up from the pot’s surface. Monitoring pH and Nutrient Reservoir I’ve also noticed that the pH has crept up to 6.2, indicating that the nutrient water hardness is decreasing. This suggests it might be time for a full reservoir refresh. Tonight, I plan to inspect the reservoir and clean it out. Thankfully, my hydro pump makes draining it a quick and easy process. Observations & Next Steps Continue training and monitoring branch recovery. Stick to the adjusted watering schedule. Refresh the nutrient reservoir and recalibrate the pH if needed. The grow is progressing nicely, and the plants seem happy despite some of the challenges. Leaving them alone is not an option... If they keep growing like this, I'll take it! This weekend, I'll do some heavy pruning. For now, I’ve snapped a few stems and tied some others to see which method gives better results. I’ve done about half so far, but I need to head to bed because of work. Tomorrow evening, I’ll tackle the other half. Also, I’ll look for some more subtle zip ties.

NL topped will be a monster...did not defoliate yet...lost one of the 4 main colas (broken) but seems to get extremely bushy anyway...nutrients mainly from TA as shown above NL untopped (coco with aptus) seems to be extremely healthy and develops monster leaves...yesterday removed appr 10 leaves for more ventilation. For untopped didnt change the nutriens yet...still this Aptus all in one 1 ml/l Aptus regulartor 3 drops/l Aptus start booster 4 drops/l Aptus callmag booster 1 ml/l I have to water with the nutrients everyday, 2 litre...each plant...keeping the ec low at 1,2 - 1,3...means the basic water should not have more than 0,3 better 0,2...means I have to use destilled water partially Next week will be some in nutrients...blooming is coming especially the topped NL...untopped maybe later...

8/14/23 - Day 62 - The buds are getting bigger and starting to connect. There are so many buds so close together that for sure these are bound to be big buds. I'm noticing the smell is starting to get stronger as well. The roots are still looking great. We did another water change today, a couple of days late. I just forgot to do it. There are some pictures in here of my RO Water Setup. I have a water hose that I hook to the RO unit, and then it passes a 1:1 ration of water to wastewater. Right now, it's all done manually by me, but I have plans to make it automatic. I had to throw this update in as I was sitting at my computer. I opened the door to where the box is, and my wife said, "WHOA..... things are going well in there, huh?". I was in the room doing some peaking in the box. I then closed the door and went inside. My wife yelled that out from the other room, triggered by using her nose..... lol So now I need to air the room out before I open the door to leave after visiting the box. Lol, I need an airlock of sorts! I actually have a carbon filter and inline fan I could hook up and run when I walk into the room. I can have it turn off after X number of minutes......Looks like another project! 8/15/23 - Quick update. Today is day 63! 8/16/23 - Day 64 - Overnight, she looks much bigger. This week was cool I did do a compost tea like I planned to. Took them out of the greenhouse for a couple days and I’m guessing that’s how the pollen got stuck on them. P.S I be outside having whole photo shoots with them 😂

The Gorilla strawberry is now harvest and drying. Gorilla glue is just cover in buds from bottom to the top. Gorilla cookies will be getting fat in next 2 weeks.

Decided to harvest her she had some nice buds but unfortunately now she's a bit leafy & airy buds due to the light timer stuff up.

This week I'm going to be adding Rhino skin until I decide its no longer needed . I've also boosted Piranha to 1ml/l . Im not sure what the PPM is yet as I havent fed them . As soon as I do feed them the PPM on my diary will change . We are entering week 2 and they are going strong . Getting slightly confused on how quickly RC#1 has grown! I'm looking at other diaries and these look about 2 weeks ahead! RC#2 is a little behind but should be at this level in a week. I'll add more pics this week. No issues atall this week, I check in the morning, water in the evening. That's it... for a first grow this has been a breeze. 28.08 (day 52) RC#2 seems to of picked up some pace again. I'm wondering if some defoliation shocked her for a few days. I think RC#1 has about 2.5 weeks left 01.03 (day 54) Both have had alot of defoliation this weekend as I could see the humidity has started to creep up slightly. No issues atall. All of the girls (x7) are now on bloom nutrients. RC#1 has been tappered down on nutrients as it's quite possible she will be ready to chop in less than 2 weeks, still amazed how far she is ahead of RC#2 who is only just really starting to properly show formation of flowers, so I'm guessing she will go the full 10-12 weeks. Overall I'm impressed with the RQS seeds, grow has been easy based on I only graduated from my YouTube masters degree in growing in 3 weeks! Lol.
