Week 5

Beginning of week 13 was harvest time! Checking the trichomes on their main buds led to the decision to harvest them. Almost all of them had already milky looking heads and some of them even turned amber. Their incredibly sour smell was barely tolerable as well. Made the decision to harvest them all at once, so the grow room can be turned into a drying room for them. Since this is considered an experiment after all, we wanted to try out wet trimming as well to compare it to the dry trim we're used to. So considering #3 had the least amount of effort due to the low amount of head buds overall, we choose that one to be wet trimmed. It surely was a very sticky and still time-consuming activity, but we're pretty happy with the result. Can't wait to see and taste them when they're finally ready, dried properly and cured a bit! This is plant #1. In comparison to the others she had the least amount of amber trichomes, with most of them being milky though. She could've enjoyed another week of flower for sure, but for the sake of the others being ready, harvesting them all at once was the only reasonable decision. Plant #1 is one of the dry trim ones. Just made sure to remove the biggest leaves that could prevent a good airflow between the buds when they're hung up.

📝 Summary of previous week: This week, the girls continued progressing well into the flowering stage. They’ve clearly stretching as expected during this phase. i watering them with 1.5L per plant, with one session including 1ml of Canna Terra Vega, 1ml of Plagron Alga Bloom, and 0.5ml of Mycochum from Plant Success. Two follow-up waterings were done with plain water only. There were some signs of yellowing and deficiencies in the leaves, likely due to an imbalance in the soil — possibly linked to the original hot soil mix. In response, light dimming was slightly reduced to 95%, and a plan was put in place to alternate between nutrient and plain water feedings. pH adjustments are also being considered. Since I had taken the plants out of the tent, I also took the opportunity to do a bit of cleaning — removing the energy suckers from the lower parts that weren’t receiving enough light and from now on, I’ll only be removing the most damaged leaves as we move further . --------------------------------------------------------------- 20/04 - 24/04/2005 I’ve been watering each plant with just water, about 1.5L each every two days. This Blue Dream grow was my best looking one. Can't wait until it's dry to sample it. The P1 clone turned a peach color, and the P2 clone turned purple.

8th week of flowering is behind us and I stopped giving more nutrients at this point. Harvest will be done in about 2 weeks so from now on i stick to plain water. Again zammy no2 is the one requiring daily adjustment to the supports. Flimsy branches are all bending downward.

The BruceBanner3 was nice to grow and we can absolutely her. she produced a lot of buds and brought us a yield of 65g dried. It tastes very delicious, much fruitier than the runtz. Despite a temporary lack of calmag and the wrong ph value, she rewards us with juicy buds You can really taste the terps, we had never smoked anything like it before!

This #40 and #42 plants from Ganja Farmer Seeds where the best out of them all, this is a bias review though as they where not all grown in the same bucket system as these two and thus could not grow to their true potential. The bugs where solid rock hard and crystaly They are true keepers if your wanted a good performing auto for shits and giggle outdoors. The major downside is how easily they got pests and how the pests preferred them over the other weed plants. this is a bit concerning to me and makes me wonder why. The plants are growing very well, still no signs of deficiency. I started cooling the box at night 2 days ago and the colors are already appearing! I upgraded my LED panel to 600w F33, I was sure I was correct with 400 but I noticed that the flowers were not developing correctly The smells are really incredible, more and more marked! I have a little crush on the code red #1, a smell of strawberry candy, cream and syrup. the white runtz x Hollywood is very very special too! a very runtz smell, with a very marked smell of marinated ginger and lemongrass! very special, it's also the one that makes the biggest heads, incredible I did a big defoliation (schwazzing) a few days ago and they recovered very well. I moved the plants again, I'll put the locations below. Die Pflanze hat einen Wachstumsschub in die Höhe bekommen. Der PH-Wert ist jetzt konstant bei 5,5. Habe nochmal Dünger zugegeben. Der EC-Wert ist mit 2,3 glaube ich etwas zu hoch, aber dagegen mache ich nichts. Die anderen Pflanzen im Turm gedeihen prächtig. --------------------------- The plant has had a growth spurt in height. The pH value is now constant at 5.5 and I have added more fertilizer. I think the EC value is a little too high at 2.3, but I'm not doing anything about that. The other plants in the tower are thriving.

She's starting to get bushy. She responds extremely well to stress so Im going to give her some heavy LST this week and give her rest next week. She also got some very healthy roots thanks to the hydroguard. I can easily go two weeks with no rez change and algae and fungus are nonexistent.

2/6 - Reservoir EC 1061, PH 6.1 at 5:30pm. 2/7 - Reservoir EC 1061, PH 6.2 at 11:00am. - Today I did an inspection of the girls and Sweet Baby James is a confirmed hermie and the damage has been done! She has opened pollen sac's in a few different spots and released her pollen, some directly onto my fans 😐 Looks like I'm in for a seedy harvest, oh well. Long Shanks is still stretching like crazy! She is now 64" tall (5' 6"). She has at least tripled in size since the flip. She is also now starting to form some nice flowers too. 2/8 - Reservoir EC 1061, PH 6.2 at 9:00am 2/9 - Reservoir EC 1057, PH 6.1 at 10:30am 2/10 - Reservoir EC 1125, PH 6.1 at 11:00am. - Surprisingly no sign of pistils fading/shrivelling. All pistils are still white and sticking straight up. I'm praying that Sweet Baby James is shooting blanks 😉 haha. Will keep a close eye out for signs of pollination. Sweet Baby James is still growing like crazy! She's nearly at 6 feet. Over twice the size of her "sister". 2/11 - Reservoir EC 1085, PH 6.0 at 6:00am 2/12- Reservoir EC 1087, PH 6.1 at 10:30am - Pistils are still showing no signs of pollination. Now I am starting to get my hopes up that Sweet Baby James is an infertile hermie. I really hope I'm right. Long Shanks is still stretching!! She is turning into a tree and quickly running out of space in her new, much larger home. Hopefully she's about done with her insane growth spurt.
