🌱 Harvest & Cure Begins Harvest is complete, and today marks the beginning of the curing process. This run taught me a lot about Fruity Durban. From the very beginning, it showed exceptional vigor and recovered incredibly well from topping and training. Its strong sativa-like growth and rapid flowering make it a very interesting cultivar. Looking back, I think I initially evaluated this cultivar from the perspective of a home grower running a single large Living Soil plant. After discussing it with Simon, I realized that Fruity Durban’s greatest strengths probably lie elsewhere. Its speed, vigor and growth habit make it particularly well suited for commercial SOG cultivation, where fast turnover and plant uniformity are major advantages. Seen from that perspective, I understand much better why this cultivar deserves its place in the Serious Seeds catalogue. The drying phase has now been completed, and the flowers have entered curing. My first impressions are already very promising: 🌸 Pink pepper 🍊 Fresh citrus 🌿 Herbal notes reminiscent of sage The effect is already clear, uplifting and energizing, making it a great daytime smoke. I’m very curious to see how the aroma and flavor will evolve over the coming weeks, as curing often reveals the true character of a cultivar. LSD × Zamnesia — Week 6 From Seed (Week 2 of Flower / Early Pre-Flower) Quick recap for anyone just joining We’re at Week 6 from seed, which we’re counting as Week 2 of flower. Plants were grown 12/12 from seed, with only leaf tucking and very light bending, no topping, no hard training, no defoliation so far. The goal with this run is maximum natural expression of the genetics, not shape enforcement. This week marks the transition into pre-flower: stretch is active, structure is being decided, and the plants are still very much setting their architecture. ⸻ Room & Environmental Conditions (Stabilized This Week) After some fluctuations earlier, conditions are now much more stable, and the plants are clearly responding well. • Temperature: ~27.5 °C • Humidity: ~65% • CO₂: ~900 ppm • PPFD: ~600–850 • Smaller plants: ~600–700 • Taller plants: up to ~800–850 • Plants are managing light by growing into the photons naturally • Nutrients: • Switched from Plagron Terra Grow → Terra Bloom • Following the Plagron feeding schedule • This was the only change made • Watering: • pH: 6.5 • EC: 2.4 • Root / Reservoir Temperature: • ~17 °C (a bit on the cold side, acknowledged) • Plants are adapting well and showing no negative response so far ⸻ Plant Observations — LSD × Zamnesia Honestly… these girls look outstanding. Even though LSD is often described as a more indica-leaning hybrid, these plants are expressing a strong sativa-style structure: • Tall, upright growth • Dominant central main stem • Side branches present, but clearly secondary • Very uniform behavior across all plants → strong genetic consistency Each plant is showing roughly 12–14 nodes, with: • Lower branches well developed • Side branches about half the size of the main stem • No signs that side branches want to overtake the main cola This is important: 👉 this is not a training issue and not a phenotype split All seeds are behaving the same way, which tells us this is genetic expression, not grower influence. ⸻ Training & Defoliation — Why We’re Doing Nothing There has been: • ❌ No topping • ❌ No hard training • ❌ No defoliation Only: • ✔️ Leaf tucking • ✔️ Very light bending when needed Why? Because at this stage, we want to: • Let the plants decide their final structure • Observe whether this genetic wants: • One dominant main cola • With several secondary colas supported by under-canopy lighting This run is about listening, not forcing. And with under-canopy lights active, even those secondary branches are getting meaningful light, which should pay off later. ⸻ Where We Are Right Now • Plants are still in pre-flower • Stretch is ongoing • Bud sites are forming, but structure is not finished • Each plant is moving at its own rhythm, which is exactly what we want to see This week is about stability, not intervention. ⸻ What to Expect Next Week (Week 3 Flower) Here’s what’s likely coming: • Stretch will continue, possibly peak • Clearer confirmation of: • Dominant main cola behavior • Final spacing between nodes • Pre-flowers will become more defined • Still no rush to defoliate unless airflow becomes an issue • Feeding stays consistent—no chasing, no stacking products Next week is about watching, not reacting. ⸻ Final Thoughts This marks a clean, confident Week 6 / Week 2 Flower checkpoint. This week has been one of great gains in both size and vegetation we have seen a vertical leap in two plants that is astronomical almost 4 inches in a week! Had to do some pruning to expose new bud and a little bit of low stress training on to plants to see if we can expose light to the underside and perhaps get a little more love out of our lower buds The stalk size on almost all of these plants is almost as big as your thumb but on one it is actually relatively skinny that is the one we’re doing the low stress training on we just started the low stress training and it is taking very well to it One of these plants is extremely dark in color on the vegetation and has typically about 11 fingers per leaf! Not sure what that means yet

Slow progress on the flowers, pistils are still developing.

This was a lovely strain to grow out, never have I seen a more purple strain. She did not like the full strength N but once I pulled back to 75% she was happy again. Everything else was smooth sailing and she competed well for light and space with the others crammed in the tent. Harvested on day 77.

Lilly x White Widow is finishing up her bulking. I did a solution change a few days ago. She has about 2 weeks left. My biggest issue will be I have 5 plants all closet done that will be all finishing at once. So I gotta spave them out to get them all in the cannatrol. Everything is going well. 10 days into flower and she's in stretch mode. Took out 12 fan leaves today before pics, I'm sure there will be more in a couple days at the rate this thing is growing. I think I got a strong foundation in place (she's thick as hell at the trunk and mains) and a decent, but not perfect, spacing. Debating on trimming the bottom nodes and just letting it pump up the top colas, but the bottom set has 3 nodes of its own and will probably turn into solid colas in their own right. See how it gotten in the next 7 days, but she's looking good and soon should be smelling good too!

Day 56 getting some yellowing. starting to get good definaition on the buds. Recharge twice a week!

Started the girls with some LST to see how they all coped and they bounced back well.

LST again & again. My Gagarin Auto gives powerfull branches on both sides. Seems like it wants to start flowering. That's pretty early)
