Really loved this. Nothing more to say for now lol, it's been my first grow and grew her with 2 wild dwarfs and loved both, would grow them again. Really excited to try it out.

Week 10 Day 7 of flowering. 09/28: Well we are fully into flowering. Bethany is currently on her stretch. It seems to be slowing down. The gray spots ended up being some kind of deficiency. The spots ended up rusting, but as of late no new leaves have any damage caused by a deficiency. A few of the lower leaves where little light reaches have turned yellow. I gave her first feeding with Kool Bloom. Looking at mid-November for harvest. I can’t wait! 09/30: A little yellowing on the new leaves. EC levels in runoff were way too high. I waited a little too long before the last watering, so I’m sure we had some salt build up. Now that she’s bigger I’m going to water her more frequently. I also noticed some lower growth that was definitely not going to make it due to lack of light, so I decided to try out some cloning. I took two cuttings and placed them in plain bottled water to try and form some roots. Since she’s an autoflower and is currently in bloom, I’m not expecting much. But we’ll see.

Last day of week 13. Continuing to remove fan leaves that have had all the life sucked out of them via senescence. Gelato and Apple Strudel probably have 90-95% milky/cloudy trichomes, and little or no amber on the actual buds (plenty on the sugar leaves) so they're probably ready to chop. I've just been too damn busy with other life stuff the past couple days. Hopefully will get a chance to chop them tomorrow! Uploaded another video for your viewing pleasure.

Week 14 Update – Flower Week 3 🌸 The stretch is finally starting to slow down, and the canopy is settling into its final shape. The SCROG net has done its job, creating a much more even canopy with plenty of tops receiving direct light. Bud sites are stacking nicely across the tent, and white pistils are appearing everywhere as the plants shift their focus from vertical growth to flower production. The plants are drinking heavily and showing strong vigor despite the warm conditions. Airflow remains a priority as the canopy thickens, helping keep humidity under control and reducing the risk of mold later in flower. Growing strong cut 13clones today and transplanted the two biguns loving how they are turning out

This phenotype #4 was removed from the grow tent after 2 weeks of veg due to a deficiency I'd never seen before. From what I've researched, it could be sulfur; it didn't seem to be a disease, but it produced excessive resin.

Week 6 today of flower. Still got couple weeks, gaining ok was hoping for alittle more growth but still time. Loads of thc popin. Updates to follow

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Heute ist Tag 28 und den Pflanzen geht es prima. Die MAC#1 hat zur Mimosa etwas aufgeholt und die Tropicana Cookies geht voll aus dem Rohr. Sie scheint schon deutlich weiter in der Entwicklung zu sein und ich bin gespannt, ob sie groß oder schnell fertig wird. Vielleicht ja sogar beides 😅 -------------- An Tag 32 musste ich entlauben, da ich die Triebe nicht einmal mehr von Hand an den Blättern vorbei bekommen habe, ohne etwas zu beschädigen. Dieses mal habe ich mich dazu entschieden, einmal recht radikal zu entlauben, anstatt wie bisher jeden Tag ein bisschen. Ich möchte mir dadurch Zeit und Arbeit sparen und hoffe, dass sie das gut verkraften. Bei der Mimosa bin ich mir da nicht so sicher, da die unter ihrem Blätterpanzer ziemlich klein geblieben ist. Die Äste sind aber sehr dick, also wird sie vermutlich jetzt 2 Tage schmollen und dann nochmal loslegen, hoffe ich jedenfalls 😅

This week things are swelling quick great ! The purple is showing up more but still only trace amounts. The black has no signs of changing colour however I already know my pheno ain’t the one ☝️ . But the purple shows promise!! Slow at cloning and a higher mortality rate then the black amnesia haze. This one almost every single clone I made all root amazingly ! Highly recommend for its yields and ease in the grow room. You can really feed it high . Still unknown why the purp has curling leaves but from others grows I see it’s fairly common . I’m guessing it prefers a slightly more alkaline PH . I’ve been using citric acid to ph correct and every time I sway a little low like 6.4-6.2-5.9 the plants leaves curl slightly more. Most mixes are in the 6.8-6.5 range however.
