This is my first official grow diary! I am starting off with ILGM’s Purple Mix Pack consisting of Purple Haze, Purple Kush & Grandaddy Purple. I began germination by soaking the seeds in reverse osmosis water for 24 hours, then soaked the seeds for another 24 hours using two paper towels each. All seeds sprouted small tails and were planted in a soil mix consisting of FF’s Coco Loko and a local soil called “Daddy Pete’s Farm & Sea.” The soil has composted cow manure, spagnum peat moss, aged pine bark fines, perlite, sandy loam, oyster shell, oceanic fish meal, crab meal, shrimp meal, worm castings, guano and kelp meal. I also added a small amount of biochar, grokashi and build-a-soil craft blend as a nutrient enhancer. Seeds sprouted after 2 days and all plants seem to be making steady growth. For lights I used a T5 fluorescent to start followed by the ViparSpectra XS2000

In week #2 I ended up losing the purple haze seedling due to some overwatering and soil compaction. I have since transplanted the GDP and Purple Kush to Coast of Maine Stonington and they have perked right up! Also planted 8 new autos.

Week 3 has gotten off to a great start. Ended up ditching the ILGM purple haze seedling as it never caught on. The GDP & purple Kush were transplanted into new soil (Coast of Main Stonington) and they have perked right up. I’m addition, I planted 16 new strains included auto’s and photo’s! Future updates to follow

Added BAS craft blend, buildaflower and buildabloom. Also used foliar spray with epsom salt, grow-cal and yucca to address magnesium deficiency. Growth has exploded.

The growth has continued to explode using all organic ingredients. Been using an aerated compost tea with worm castings every other watering. Used coast of main soil with buildasoil dry amendments plus some coast of Maine bloom.

The plants are flowering vigorously. Did some HST on one of my girls that is growing seriously tall and that helped normalize things. Added some COM fish bone meal and the girls loved it. Watering and then using aerated compost tea consistently. I cannot stress enough how much better and easier organic growing is!

Week 5 of flower and things are really coming together. Sticking to a tried and true method - water and then feed with aerated compost tea with an organic top feed every 2-3 weeks for perfect results.

The girls are really frosting out nicely. All of the seeds I used this time have turned out great, especially the Green Point Seeds! Harvest will be in 2 weeks or so. More to follow :).

Harvest day came and went for so many of my autos. And they are beautiful! I had one freak event happen where my hand accidentally hit the “stay on” tab of one of my timed outlets, which ended up shocking a few ladies with the appearance of seeds. That being said, they are definitely feminized and the frost level is still insane. Overall, I am pleased and learned a lot as usual. Still have a few weeks to go on my Green Point Seeds. See photos and ask any questions.

Harvest this week includes: Greenpoint Seeds Scout Snacks, PSB Critical Mass & Greenpoint Seeds Fortnite. The terpenes/essential oils are unlike anything I’ve ever experienced! Organic will be my go to method moving forward.
