stretch is going well! buds are starting to get fruity! Calyxes are already getting typical LA Confidential look

Hey now, this week went very well. I transplanted her on day 17 and she looked a little grumpy for about 24 hours but her leaves are now pointing upwards and she is responding very well to the larger airpot. I still have the Spectrum X in V1 at 30% which is doing an excellent job of keeping her low to the ground with nice tight nodes. She is only six inches tall and working her on her 6th node by day 21 so I am very happy with this light fixture so far. I transplanted her into a mixture of Coco Coir and Perlite and set up an auto watering system that is currently feeding her 4 times per day, Once at lights on, and then every 5 hours thereafter until the 4th feeding, then it repeats at lights on. I will top her just above the 6th node as soon as I have room between 6 and 7, which will be in the next several days. I know some people don't think it's beneficial to top autos, and I would certainly agree it is not the best way to go in all setups. However, when utilizing high frequency fertigation in coco coir it is absolutely necessary. The issue is vertical growing space if you are growing in an indoor tent. I use a combination of LST, topping, mainlining, manifolding, and super cropping to try to keep my plants from growing into the lights, but it can be difficult with certain strains. As soon as I top her just above the 6th node, I will begin LST and start bending the mains down and tying them off to the side of the airpot via rubber coated wire. I will gradually increase her feed and just continue with LST and occasional defoliation the rest of the way. I am also super happy with this new MedicGrow light and how tight she is keeping the nodes on ALL the plants in the tent currently including my tomatoe plants that have just exploded since going under this light last week. I will post a few pics of them as well. They will go outside in about a week and will get fed the runoff from the Cannabis plants which will be mixed with my basement dehumidifier water to lower the EC, then I PH it to between 6 and 7 and the tomatoes absolutely EXPLODE....I hope everyone is have a great week, be safe and Blaze On! Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Week 8 and there definitely starting to smell a lot more now .buds on the plant at the back are getting bigger and starting to feel quite dense and the one in front is starting to pack them buds on now getting frosty 😁

She seems to be a slow grower. I started a northern lights that's 12 days behind her, and it is growing about 2 weeks faster than this cheese. Wish I knew the breeder.

Well I chopped this lady today at week 11 day 5 she smells and looks fantastic Smoke review : The hit is very smooth due too the extra long flush I did , and although the smell isn't great yet because it's now right at the start of cure , It's a nice body glow with an intense head trip with a mellow bubble , And that is after a small bong , I really like it , I would recommend growing this and would grow again , thanks for reading and following if that was you , Stay medicated and be bless Jah Rastafari blessing and love And the buds are nice and dense , will update once dry and cured :)

There asking for more water now. I was feeding 250ml every 3rd day as seedlings now I will up it to 350ml every watering until they need more.

The ladies are starting to stretch and flower. We also did a defoliation and lollipop session at the end of week 2 flower. Canopy and bud sites look good and are a plenty. Looking forward to next couple of weeks.

The fun is starting! Lots of pistils popping on her and she’s stretching! At this phase when I see sites I foliar feed with liquid manganese, 1 ml per gallon, and do this one time, after week 3/4 when I really see trichomes I don’t foliar feed anymore I also am using a bunch of new nutrients for this run that I honestly did a lot of eye measuring once I got it down lol, so feel free to ask any questions and I’d be glad to fill you in! I used every ingredient from silica to microbes and enzymes, sulfur, molasses etc, I felt like a mad scientist this run lol

This week I just let them do their thing. They seem to be bouncing back after the transplant I did last week. My OCD is getting to me though with the uneven canopy. They seem to be happier tho so I’m happy.

These ladies have grown amazing this past week. I took of a few of the bigger fan leafs of but other then that just feed this week. The flower sites are starting to form. Definitely starting to smell stronger. All in all Happy Growing

Good strech from both but there is about a 6 inch difference in the two strawberry not huge plants but will have some very decent bud good bud development
