This is the sister diary of the Runtz showdown, in which we pit two great performing strains created by two highly acclaimed and respected breeders, in a duel to the death. This diary features the RUNTZ XL AUTO strain by SweetSeeds. In the meantime, all seeds have germinated and seemed to have a level start. Also here we loaded the grow with our magical intentions as we sowed on Imbolc, the celebration day of the Goddess of spring: Bridget. We cant wait to see where this will lead us. Both strains will have the exact same conditions, lighting, care and nutrition. The Lights Also here we use our trusty Mars Hydro SP-3000, where we are trying to get over 600 grams (2x gram per watt) we succeeded almost on the previous grow, where we got to 1.5 grams per watt. Firstly, the video of the popcorn bud from the mother plant, is showing what’s known as xylem sap from a process known as guttation. I never new that until this. Additionally, I am sorry to have missed out on so much documentation. I can talk forever about my plants so this will be short and to the point. Fast vigorous growth. Very resilient and hardy strain able to shrug of cold damp conditions, and freezing nights down to 32 Fahrenheit. The immune system seemed to be very strong. Never did I find any pathogens or even pests! A few but those little ghost spiders really helped out. During harvest, a thorough inspection resulting in surprisingly clean product! Finishing with large “airy” buds with fat bracts covered in trichomes. A rich musky cheese smell that surprisingly tastes of berries! I suppose I’m getting ahead of myself. But I was able to finish cure and smoke test the mom before harvesting the clone. Finally: this fast 50-60 day pheno will continue popping new bracts up to 90 days!!!! Or at least the mother in the tent did. Also, the dry weight is an approximation as I’m not finished with trim.

Now it's all over and I can sit back look at her, cry a tear of joy, and enjoy that my hard work has paid off. Although it is not over just yet. I still need to dry out the bud and get them in jars to cure.I will say one thing about my opinion on tastes and smell. Its just that, an opinion. I chose creamy just because I felt it describes the taste, although I cant say it tastes like a cream-sickle. It definitely has some citrus to the taste though, that I am sure of. The high I feel really brings me up. Took me too long to wake up this morning but this helped out. I'm feeling ready for the day, and all around quite good inside the chest and head.All in all it tastes and feels great. It will be a great WAKE and bake sativa, or a great party toke. I am going to give some away to some close friends and get their opinions on it as well. I do recommend this plant to other people. Try it out for yourselves. It was an easy plant to grow and train. My buds did not come out looking like a cannabis cup winner but they probably could in the right growers hands.

Altura no mucha pero será x algún fallo mio como novatoy tanbm alguna hoja estropeada, pero bueno, de a poco se va mejorando, ya voy teniendo en cuenta varios puntos de riego y demás cositas... Bueno x el momento va la primer semana y vamos a ver q tal van las demás... Buen finde para tod@s y buenos humos... 🏻‍♂️👍🏻🇦🇷🤝🏻🇪🇦

The time is coming. It's very healthy, I ended up exaggerating a little bit with the fert, but don't panic, it's organic, it caused just a little burnt on the edge of the leaves. The weather is stabilizing, it stopped raining here and the humidity is normal now. The pistils are starting to fester and are resining too much. She is very fat, the smell is strong every day and I am totally in love with her.

Hard to believe it's been another week. These beautiful girls are growing great. They're definitely swelling amazing especially at the top colas. Starting to see some faded leaves so I think I'll back down my nutes from 1050 to around 800. All in all Happy Growing

I was not going to make a diary on this plant because it’s my first time outdoor growing and didn’t want to embarrass myself if I went wrong lol but this girl needs to be seen! She’s an absolute beast and there’s still another 3/4 weeks till it started stretching during pre flower, I’ve only ever worked auto flowers indoors and usually they end up a quarter the size of this plant and I average around 60/100g per plant, I am so excited to see what this bad girl will produce :D I’ll update each week peace people happy growing :)

9/22/2024 Added 80W LED lights below the canopy. Tilted the other 200W fixture to point into the canopy. Relocated circulation fans to keep air moving through the bush! Great flower development is continuing. The stretch is almost complete, but it is still stretching. Super cropping may be right around the corner. With one bucket removed from the system, the new system volume is right around 7-8 gallons. 9/23/2024 Forced to do a water change after a massive spike in PPM up to 2400. Cycled the system with about 5 gallons of pH water and pumped off about 4 gallons. Replaced 3 gallons containing appropriate nutrient concentration to get PPM back to 800 -900 range. Increased lights to 85%. Super cropped some of the lanky main stems that were growing right at the lights. Light directly over the plant is pretty much maxed out on height at this point. Looking to increase intensity by the end of this week to 90% and then to 100% by the end of week 5. Continuing to defoliate larger fan leaves a few per day. 9/24/2024 Plant is looking incredibly healthy even after the water issues. Some trichomes starting to develop on sugar leaves and flowers. There are tons of flower sights, I am excited to see how they continue to develop!!! 9/25/2024 Moved the light up to its last hanging position. There are only a few more inches of adjustment left. Trying to avoid late supercropping if I can. 9/26/2024 Pruning large fan leaves and fan leaf overgrowth. Looking to leave a lot of the smaller leaves for sugar trim collection if possible. Humidity is not an issue yet, but working to maintain 50-60% is getting close to maxing out my setup. Continuing with light defoliation will hopefully help in managing humidity. 9/27/2024 Have been adding pH-adjusted water as well as reduced nutrient concentration to keep PPM 800-900. Prioritizing bloom nutrients and keeping small amounts of micro and grow in the mix, diamond nectar at around 4mL/gallon.

hey growmies, not much of note this week, the buds are fattening up, she's supposed to be a 10 week finisher, so, halfway there, deffo not a fast Auto, lets see if the yield is worth it I think in the middle of the week I locked her out of phosphorous, pH climbed to 6.5 and some lower growth got cannibalized. check back next week!

RS11 is still not fully recovered and still looks a bit stressed, but I decided to take the risk and move forward anyway. She was transplanted into her final 8.5L pot and moved into the 70x70 flowering tent. The substrate was prepared the same way as before using the BioTabs “just add water” approach. Once everything is set up properly, the idea is to let the soil life take over and keep things simple with just water. Per liter of soil (recycled BioBizz Light Mix with ~50% perlite): 7 g dolomite lime 5 g Startrex 5 g Silicium Flash Into the planting hole: 5 g Mycotrex 1 BioTab Watered in with: 1 g Bactrex dissolved in water

Had sumn butrient burn n ph problems but its resolved n back into a healthy growth phase

10/21: Harvest Day! I did a wet trim today and chopped her down. She will now dry in the same tent at about 60-62% RH. I was originally disappointed that i ended up with a runt. But she grew into a unique and cute plant. I dont think i could grow another plant that is almost entirely flower and just 3 large colas without having to work pretty hard in the training and flower timing. And so i am kind of glad that it worked out the way it did. I mean just look at her, she is photogenic as hell. The highest point in height was about 9 inches. The whole plant after trimming and being cut down weighed in at 6.02oz. Id guess that there is nearly an oz of dried bud here. I feel fortunate to not have dealt with any bud rot considering how this grew. I am not out of the weeds yet as that could still occur during the dry. Overall i am happy with this grow. It was fast as hell and resulted in a really cute little plant. 10/29: dried after 8 days. 1.16oz. I put it in a jar with a humidity pack and will cure. Might try a smoke from it in a couple weeks. It smells super fruity with hints of earth and skunk.
