It was a last week of flowering. Next week will post a photos of a harvest. Some conclusions from the current grow- It is looks like there was too much light. Many top leaves were too dry. Next grow will use only one 240W lamp

Another boring week in flower. One of the indigo childs is fading to yellow. Checked the trichomes and I'm starting to see some ambers. Will probably wait till 7.5 week. The rest of the indigos will probably go 8-8.5 weeks. The medipak needs a lot more time. Not a resinous as I would have liked to see at this point. But I have a feeling that it might be my fault with not providing them proper environment for a sativa. I also suspect there might have been a fungal issue from the medipak tent as one suddenly died. Classic fusarium. We shall see with the others.

As you can see I had some trouble with pests. It is very hard to find this green worms that eat the leafs. A tip I could give you is to search for them early in the morning or when it gets dark, because they eat at those times. Como pueden ver tuve unos problemas con plagas. Planting went well and no sign for 3 days . On day 4 we have our first signs of green. Temp and humidity hold well in the tent and using clear cups as a humidity dome had an unexpected effect of keep Medium too wet as cups were too small.

Trying to be more hands-off. So far this week all is well. Gave each plant about a quart of plain distilled water this weekend. Looked good all week, but by mid-day Thursday, they were drooping quite a bit. So today (Thurs.) I gave them a thorough watering with nutrients. Great news, little Cheecha is officially 2 inches taller than Chonga!

...and here I am, at the end of this fantastic journey, with so much knowledge I have got in this process, including regarding myself! Fantastic!! Welcome to my FastBuds GSC grow-off diary! I plan on growing 2 seeds from the same package - one using a 950ml Gatorade bottle dwc system, and the other sharing a 64L reservior DWC. I'll grow them both while trying to be as simiar in techique as i can, but i'm more interested in how the 950ml does, so might not be super picky about doing things exactly the same, heh. I'm making this all up as I go! Enjoy the ride! Week 0 ====== Day 0.1 - 2 seeds in water for 24hrs Day 0.2- 2 Seeds in wet paper towel, in a plastic bag for 24-48hrs until taproot is out Day 0.3 - 24hrs later - one seed has sprouted a tail Day 0.4 - 2nd seed sprouted tail; put both seeds into rockwool Day 0.5 - 1st seed sprouted from rockwool Day 0.6 - 1st seed doing well, 2nd seed no change Day 0.7 - Checked 2nd seed and hasn't budged, so it's a dud. Started a new seed (had 3 GSC, so all good!) Day 0.8 - 1st seed into the 1L DWC bottle! Day 0.10 - 3rd seed germinated - into rockwool to sprout. DWC Prototype ----------------- - 950ml Gatorade Bottle - 2x small air stones - 1/2" overflow tube where i want the water level to be - Nutrient top-feed line The reservoir below is 19L (~15L of solution) with a small 80gph water pump on lowest setting, which will be on a timer for 15 mins every 3 hours (at first - we'll see how that goes). The water pumps nutrient solution up to the Gatorade bottle and the overflow goes back down into the reservoir.

Early morning day 1 we got a good rain. The girls loved it. This week has cooler night time Temps, storms, and low 90s upper 80s f day time Temps. Plants are getting into the super soil and out of the safe zone of plain organic soil. Next time I'll use a stronger mix of liquid feed for the safe zone. The plants didn't get enough nutes to grow fast. I'm still dialing in super soil/organic so there's a learning curb. I'm a little worried about topping these as I got a late start outdoors. I topped the biggest this week. The smallest got ravaged by an insect so I'll just let it grow out naturally.

I'm smoking this girl as I type this. I got 70g off the stem from the tops and some of the larger popcorn. The remainder of the popcorn and some tops were left to mature and boy did they. She has now been harvested in full and hung to dry alongside the banner. I'm hoping for another oz or so. I would love to yield over 100g from her. I'll post a harvest entry once the remainder is weighed up and jarred to cure. This girl is amazing. Thank you for your sacrifice 👏

Day 50. Had big plans, but postponed them to monday/tuesday. Will strip and heavy bend/lst girls, give them 5 days and i think they will be ready for flower. Increased light power output from 50% to 70%. Girls got water with 0.5 ml/l Fish Mix. Overtimes and all weekend at work stops me a bit, but work is work ... Day 54. Girls got heavy training, started it even too late, leaves were too droopy. All went good, while last one was done, first were somewhere "happy" ;))) Pure water. Think to send them to flower this weekend. Day 55. And like nothing happend ;))) All girls are happy and bushy, one or two days, darkness and FLOWER TIME ! ;) Happy Growing !

Tag 82: Hab mich nun doch entschieden , da die Trichome wirklich zu 90% Milchig sind , die Dame am Stamm abzuhacken . (Extra ein kleines Beil gekauft (scherz)) . Dann im Stück einfach Kopfüber . Abluft ist an , Ventilator unter der Spitze . Jetzt noch 4-5 Tage warten (je nach Temp und Feuchte) . Und dann schauen wir mal was es wird .Für mich wichtig , viel Feuchtigkeit im Raum , ich will das sie auch nach dem Trocknen noch kleben . Ergo hab ich den Stoftopf drinne stehen gelassen . Tag 82-88: Kopfübertrocknung + Temperatur : 21°C - 23°C) + Lüftfeuchtigkeit : 52%rH-60%rH + VPD kleiner gleich 1.2 + 4 bis 5 Tage Ich versuche maximal einen VPD von 1.2 zu halten für ca 4-5 Tage. Tag 85: Ein Video hinzugefühgt wo ihr das Trockenzelt sehen könnt. Die LED hab ich genau unter der Abluft angebracht damit kein einseitiger Luftzug entsteht, dafür mit mehr Power . Tag 86: Video von der Kopfüberhängenden hinzugefühgt. Tag 88: 5 Tage lang getrocknet , Blüten vom Stiel getrennt und in Schalen in den Weinkühlschrank mit Silikatgel für die Feuchteregelung.
