This week, the buds are getting fatter The purpling has gotten rather extreme on one cola. It's not happening on other ones which are at an equal distance from the lights. Oh well I noticed a lot of general yellowing of the plants so I gave them a good dose of nutrients. Let's hope they get fat 👽 Later I will post some pictures with the LED off

These girls are exploding like the bomb seeds they are! Always a treat to grow any Bomb seeds in my experiences. I have grown Both Atomic and Widow bomb before and great seeds/genetics and amazing top shelf buds on massive plants. They are really blowing up now there roots are in the water and all 4 have been topped in prep for LST and there screens. I also installed my DIY reservoir cooler and wrapped my buckets in reflective insulation stuff to keep heat out and keep water cool. Will post some results when I test it more...

So I am harvesting sweet Bourbon Kush Autoflower. It grew really fast. It smells like a wooddy sweet Bourbon. Hence the name. 🤷. She grew great for me in coco/perlite in a 1.5 gallon Potter. She has a great smell, great frost. Looks delicious. I am super eager to try the results. Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

Blütewoche 2 - 22.06. – 29.06.2026 Auch in der zweiten Blütewoche setzte die Blue Sunset Sherbert ihren starken Stretch fort. Innerhalb von nur sieben Tagen wuchs sie von 48 cm auf 80 cm und legte damit beeindruckende 32 cm an Höhe zu. In dieser Woche wurde die Pflanze zweimal mit jeweils vier Litern Wasser gegossen. Außerdem wurde sie großzügig entlaubt und einige untere, schwach belichtete Triebe entfernt, um die Lichtverteilung und Luftzirkulation zu verbessern. Die Pflanze präsentiert sich weiterhin in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Sie ist kräftig, vital, zeigt keinerlei Mangelerscheinungen und entwickelt zahlreiche schöne Blütenansätze. Mittlerweile füllt sie die gesamte Beetfläche aus. Bis zur LED sind nun nur noch etwa zehn Zentimeter Platz, sodass die Lampe bei weiterem Stretch eventuell nochmals höher gehängt werden muss.

9/12 Sprayed 1 tbsp K Bicarb with 1/4tsp dawn. Only had time to use a half gallon. I've used more but with all the defoliation this seemed to work and I was in a hurry. I can't ask those watching my plants to do actual labor when I'm not home. I wouldn't want anyone working on my plants but me anyway. I defoliated dead stuff. Still have this rusty looking leaves dieing on my ice cream cake. I need to finish a little defoliating. Broke out my 100x scope and checked a few buds. Things are exploding. Another nice sunny day today. Beastie bloom had no negative effects. I'll use it again and I'll probably use cha ching as well. Went back down to defoliate a little more. I'm getting excited. Still a lot of work left but it's nice to see the progression. Had to cut out a small nug last night that looked like it might start to rot. It was probably fine but I wasn't taking chances. It's so dank and crystally. One of my mystery seeds in the 5 gallon will be done soon. Milky trichs and hard as a rock. Im hoping they will beef up a bit. Little to no amber but things are progressing so fast. I mean nights are in the 40°'s. 9/13 No need to water as it had rained so much the bags need to dry out. Sunny day today. Plants are doing great. Buds increase in bulk on the daily. Took a few pictures and defoliated what needed it. A dog was added to the grow for security. It hasn't gotten used to me yet but it's extremely loud and annoying. Nothing will get past it though. I tried to last night. I shut down the motion sensors informed the other growers (except the person who's shift it was to watch) and I couldn't make it down there on foot let alone a vehicle. Hope the dog liked me but it's certainly useful. It APPEARS we will be having some good weather so I'm excited. I think my plants will be able to finish properly. At least I hope. Either way if I have to harvest early do to the weather so he it but I'll cross that bridge when it comes. Plan to do a preventative BT spray this week. 9/14 FED TODAY. LOWERED GROW BIG TO HALF TBSP. AND AGAIN used 1/4 TBSP Beastie Bloom. Buds are swelling with the sunshine that we've had. I defoliated what needed it and found more dead foliage. It's so weird this damage. I'm pretty sure it's earwigs but the only bother new shoots so that's a good thing. Things are getting close and looking good. I need to do another app of BT. I heard a storm may be coming I'll need to check the weather. 9/15 After a few good days of weather we are in for some rain. Supposably a big storm but it looks like I won't get the worst of it. No water obviously. Something (probably earwigs or jpn beetles) eating or lollipopping lower things. They seem to leave flowers alone. It's just low shoots. Everything is flowering incredibly. I checked trichs on one of my mystery seeds and it looks done. I'm considering taking it. It's in my garage for 24 hrs of darkness and to avoid rain until I make my decision. I also took the two lowest branches off on DJ Short blueberry to taste test and see where I'm at. I probably shouldn't but o do this every year. It will be good to try the mystery bud before I harvest it all. It's just a little guy but the buds are rock hard and with the weather and pm and stuff I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. UPDATE: APPARENTLY WE HAVE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WARNINGS WITH GOLF BALL SIZED HAIL. I can move the other little ones in the garage but everything else is firmly rooted and have taken a beating already. I pray things will be ok. 9/16 No damage from the ridiculous storm last night. I need to spray ASAP. I have a fungal infection with just a few weeks to go. Looks like PM but I know some is a different fungal issue. I'll probably use the k bicarb or citric acid. So far no bud damage or damage up top. The things the earwigs ate were low like the lollipoped lower limbs. It's getting so close. I've been checking trichs and they look great but the buds have some filling out to do. 9/17 DID K BICARBONATE TREATMENT THIS AM. I didn't even look to see if I needed to water. Fuck. buds were soaking wet though so it must've rained. I have to go back down anyway to add a couple strings and do a little more defoliating. Did a treatment with k bicarb this morning.. 1 tbsp with dawn in a half gallon sprayer. I also need to address this earwig problem. They are ravaging some secondary lower branches and Im sure they are spreading disease. I only have a few weeks left and I want the best quality I can possibly get. I plan to put gorilla tape on the outside of the grow bag (double width) and petroleum jelly on the stems. That way they can't climb the bag. If they are in the soil of the bag hopefully the jelly will stop them. I'll also try beer as I've heard that works. I really don't want to resort to borax. Oh and I may have had a visitor last night. I'll have to check the cams. Nothing on the ones I checked but I have some game cams at different angles I haven't checked yet. It was probably just a nocturnal animal. Great to know that the dog announces though. This was at like 12:30 and I was out quick. I only have a few more weeks. I hope the cannabis gods are with me. 9/18 Whatever is eating my plants (earwigs I assume) are progressing from lower secondary or tertiary branches and new shoots to small buds. Looking at trichs some plants look ready. One seedling and the blueberries. I'd like the blueberries to go longer but I'd risk losing them. Fungal and mold issues aren't the greatest either. I was hoping for a big swell but if the weather stays raining and foggy like this it might be better to harvest a little early. I got a second opinion this morning and I'm leaning on taking the seedling and at least the one blueberry with the worst damage that dropped most of its leaves. I'll see how the bottom branch smokes this afternoon and make my decision then. Didn't feed for fear of lockout or if decide to cut. UPDATE: After the second consult with a different local grower I decided to harvest the blueberry that was furthest along and dropping it's leaves. It was done. Luckily it had been flushed with all this sheet rain we've gotten. It rains hard as I speak. Last year I think I had two strings the length of the huge garage and that lasted me all year. This one plant took an entire string to itself. If the weather cooperates this will be a good day. I also flushed the mystery seed I was going to take hoping it might fill out but trichs are very Amber and the bud is DENSE. Not risking mold or insect damage or theft. This took hours to harvest this ONE Blueberry plant. I had to harvest limbs. This was when I could see damage best. I also am curing the buds from the lower branch I took earlier and the other bud that is done. I plan on testing it out tomorrow. I could smoke now but Im already burnt and tired and want to try this with a clear head. I can't believe how long this took. One Big and one little down 10 more to go. Phone died so I couldn't take any pictures.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! OMG... still so much time yeahh! Today my Fast Buds Sour Jealousy and Sweet Seeds Big Devil and Dark Devil Automatics arrived. I'm looking forward to it. This time Fast Buds next Time Sweet Seeds. Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. So I left for a week and had a trusted friend take over watering duties. A few things of note: I was concerned over overheating the grow so I turned the power down to 75% and ran the light up another 6 inches. This had the unfortunate effect of less airflow and cooler temps so I got powdery mildew that I would be fighting for the remainder of the grow. That aside, the plants looked way more mature when I returned home, with nice trichome development and density.

Apple Fritter is looking pretty neat. Plus the mutation cola dead center is a new one for me. I am not sure what that is called. Still neat! 28.08.2025 Leider habe ich den notdürftig befestigten Ast verloren und er war tatsächlich so groß wie eine reguläre Indoor-Pflanze 😅. Es tat mir in der Seele weh, mich von ihm verabschieden zu müssen. Zurzeit ist es sehr stürmisch und regnerisch und ich kann froh sein, wenn ich auch nur eine einzige Blüte ernten werden kann. Sie ist sooo riesig und sprengt den Balkonplatz. Unglaublich!

This week growth has been exceptional! They are all stretching nicely and setting flowers. I foliar sprayed Soluable Kelp, ChitoSal and Rubicon Marinis to help transition to flower. All 2 days apart. Added this months top up of Gaia at 1.5 cups of 4-4-4 and 1.5 cups of 2-8-4 as top dressing. They responded very well to this application. Might start adding a few tbsps of each every week from now on. Still adding compost tea once a week. This compost tea I added 2 tbsp of Gaia 2-8-4. Ran out of fish shit. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Roughly 30 gallons of soil inside cages wrapped in plastic about a foot and a half high amended with 3 cups Gaia 4-4-4 and 2 cups Gaia 2-8-4 and 2 cups Gaia Feather Meal 13-0-0. Topped up each month with a cup of each as well as worm casting/soluble kelp/molasses compost tea once a week. Also Fish Shit amendment added at recommended doses. Orange Kush Cake, Cherry Gar-See-Ya, Mac 'n Jack, Crescendo Rbx1 are all Ethos genetics at 25-35% THC Blue Afghan is from Jordan Of The Islands. Recieved clones in the mail in early May.
