Hey! Welcome to week 8! Karen is mid way through her flowering stretch. Please check back to last week as I update daily so the week is now complete. I count about 20 colas now. Day 51: Have reconfigured the tent, see video. Karen is now 36cm and still stretching. Karen has more light now. Smell is still there hits you when you open the tent. Fertigated 2l. Day 52: Height: 39cm. Karen's scent is heavenly. I have reconfigured again and installed some upgrades. Better reflector. Much bigger carbon filter. Increased airflow. Better config. More efficient pot layout. Karen is lovely. I am grateful to her and for her, so I wrote her a little poem, I hope she liked it. "Karen! Oh Karen! The phoenix of flowers, Three lowly weeks she struggled in vain, Shadowed and starved for five hundred hours, He slowly wept to witness her pain. Karen! Oh Karen! I P-H'd your showers, and in the fourth week you started to gain, Hallowed and hard you survived as you cowered, I thought you meek, I was wrong once again. Karen! Oh Karen! Forgave me my howlers. She set a pace, a pace she maintained, Now shes a girl at the peak of her powers, And so I'm a geek, with buds on the brain." Day 53: Approx 48h into a simulated dry spell. Alright I think it is time for Karen to get her first MAJOR defoliation. I will update shortly with photos and info. I will also be doing some gentle LST to separate the colas a bit. Day 53.5: Defoliation and LST. Finally got chance to photograph that bunda. Enjoy! Day 53.75: Bit of a fail. Messed up the timer and the lights ended up being off for about 3 or 4 hours. Because I was cooling the room (open window) to keep temperature in the tent down, without any light the temperatures absolutely plummeted as it is sub-zero outside. By the time I realised and turned the lights on, the temp in the main tent had dropped to 14 degrees celsius. Whoops! How is that for mistreating your girl? Defoliated about 80% of her leaves, 4 nodes, significant LST, then stuck her in the cold and dark for 1/6 of a day. Not to mention she is now almost 3 days into a "dry spell". There do not seem to be ill effects, and Karen has already begun to respond to the LST; all the colas that had been changed in angle are now upright again. The dry spell I keep mentioning, there is a method behind my madness, I have spotted one or two small flies and I think they may be fungus gnats. I am starting to suspect that the 2nd seedling in the Purple OG Punch Auto grow was actually beheaded by fungus gnat larvae. So I am drying out the mediums as much as I dare. I am closely monitoring the plants, so far the only one I have had to break the drought for is Enigma; all the girls in big pots haven't even noticed it's dry yet. How far am I going to push it? Well I will judge it on a plant by plant basis, but quite honestly I am hoping to see physical signs of thirst before I breakdrought. Of all the plants the two I think will respond most strongly to this will be Karen and Bertha, because of where they are. Karen here is actually probably 4 weeks into flowering rather than two, so about now is a good time to give her a little hydration stress. I do not think I will push it past 5 days, as RH is 34%. By now all the plants will be compensating for the lack of moisture and the high temperatures and low humidity. They will be taking more and more moisture out of the coco, and as the coco dries further and further down, those plants that have space will start desperately growing roots to find moisture. Mark my words, 24 hours after I end this drought, every plant in the tent will throw out crazy growth. Day 54: Ended drought and fertigated 6l, no run off, I will re-fertigate tomorrow. Karen is still stretching her height post LST is now 37cm. The two tallest colas seem to have stopped but the other colas are still stretching. Day 55: Alright so it has been 5 hours since lights on, and Karen is looking in good shape, all her drooping leaves have perked back up and she has added quite a bit of foliar growth. The colas are all still rising, except perhaps the two tallest. This girl is absolutely loaded with pistils, I'm starting to see trichomes on the sugar leaves, but trich production hasn't started in earnest yet. She has a least 20 colas, and 6 of them are thicker/taller than the primary cola at her tip. Every one of her nodes has reinforced itself with a bulbous growth and these cola branches are swelling rapidly. I am increasingly of the opinion that, all being well, this girl is going to surprise us all with her yield. My first grow, which was just mucking about really, I got 60-70g of the two main plants, and they were just bare sticks with 2 colas. Although her height is less than theirs was, 2/3 of their height was bare stick... whereas every mm of her is befoliaged and living. So in terms of the height of the actual cola I think they were about comparable in usable space on a per cola basis. The main difference being that Karen has 20+ colas whereas they had 2 primary and 2 lower. I know that it is probably unrealistic to expect more than 70g from a single auto grown indoors. Nevertheless my gut tells me this baby could achieve at least 100g, perhaps as much as 150g. The next few weeks will determine that, but given where we were in week 3 I will be grateful for any yield of quality bud. I have dropped the lights down to 18/6 from 'tonight' onwards. I really have no idea how long we have left for Karen. According the the "brochure" she flowers for 7-8 weeks, with a total crop time of 9 weeks. The problem is I don't know what a total crop time is? Does that mean from seed to finish? If so Karen is clearly not going to be anywhere near that timescale.I am going to go ahead an assume that, for my plant anyway, the first 4 weeks were veg weeks. I think it is fair to count week 5 and 6 as flowering because pistils were popping out very early in week 5 if not before. So that makes this week four of flowering. I am going to assume 8 weeks rather than 7, so I think we have another 4 full weeks give or take a week. On that basis I am expect harvest week to be around week 12 or so. I am not fixed on this though, I am determined not to harvest this girl early. Day 55: Photos taken 00:00 9/3/23 Strong 24h of veg growth as predicted. Day 56: Existing leaves continue to swell. Stretch appears to be slowing. I've taken so many media this week that I cannot scroll down far enough to select a recent thumbnail. Probably Karen's biggest week in terms of changes. She is looking like she is going to impress. Height 39cm.

2/9 for 40 9 AM. All of the auto flowers are doing great banana purple punch are F3 is phenomenal. The smell is unlike anything I’ve had before. It’s very very nice just perfect so far. 2/10, 5:45 AM. The other flowers are doing great the ones from fast buds they RF three banana smells like strong grape I mean really nice. I’ve never had this before. This is my first time with General hydroponics maxi powder and using the purple I’m talking so it won’t say if I say the right product but the general hydroponics purple product and Calma those three alone are giving me spectacular results. Pink Truffle #1 enters its first week of flowering showing a very rapid transition into the reproductive phase. A noticeable stretch can be observed across the main branches, accompanied by an excellent distribution of flower sites throughout the entire structure. The plant displays an open architecture that is highly favorable for the development of multiple productive colas. The training work performed during the vegetative stage has allowed for uniform light penetration, promoting flower site activation not only on the upper canopy but also throughout the middle and lower sections of the plant. It is responding vigorously to the photoperiod change, with internodes elongating evenly while maintaining a controlled apical dominance. The foliage remains healthy and vibrant green, with strong vegetative activity still present, which is typical during the first days of the flowering stretch. At this stage, Pink Truffle #1 stands out for its elegant structure, extensive branching, and strong production potential. It is shaping up to be a plant with excellent space utilization and a very promising flowering development over the coming weeks.

Hola a todos, día 67 de floración y ya estoy disminuyendo gradualmente los nutrientes, al parecer la grabadora que instalé para los timelapse produjo un desorden de sueño en las plantas, comencé a notar desde la semana ante pasada ramas en estado vegetativo y espigamiento general, espero que esto no cause tanta merma en la producción, tape los diodos de la grabadora con aluminio aunque aún deja salir un pequeño haz de luz, de todos modos la última semana esas ramas empezaron a desarrollar flores así que asumo que el problema esta resuelto. Aún falta bastante trabajo, saludos!

Such a beautiful week! They went straight into flowering and at the same time the growth stage is still visible. Good potential for large plants. I imagine they will finish in ca. 4-5 weeks. I'm still not sure what's the cause for the discoloration and burnings on one of the girls. I suspect lack of Nitrogen. I will be supplementing with Bio-Grow from BioBizz. It's exiting to see them explode! I feed/water them every ca. 2nd day. Thanks for stopping by! Any suggestions or questions are very welcomed! ; )

4/17: More of the same as usual.......l can only imagine what she would’ve been doing with the needed light instead of 12/12 4/18: For the remaining time until I harvest her in like a week or 2 I’m going to take her out the tent during light off period so she can receive much more needed light

This Gorilla, has went ape. All I need to do now, is nurse it to harvest, to get bigger buds,I want dense nuggets. But more than having nuggets, I need it’s potency to be on deadly level, I want smokers to crash after smoking. Or I would only get that if I was growing Gorilla Glue.

Another great week for these girls! They look great! Yes, thats what they look like. No filters, just frosty buds. They have a very unique "sweet/candy" smell to them. It's very hard to pinpoint. I'll be so curious what the final product becomes. This tent is doing wonderful compared to the disaster this week in the other tent. (A whole set of genetics hermed mid flower and another girl got aphids). So this is great to have such a wonderful tent here. The trichomes are really coming through now. The amber is starting to show on one plant. I'm happy cuz the breeder says 55-63 days but I might pull the one in the middle at 49 days. We

Hello!, Day 60 Flower I just done the my first harvest ever. Gelat og has cool looking buds, After seen the BUD ROT on one single bud in day 59 yesterday , Today in Day 60 i just cut the plant down for Dry. Going to WASH the buds with H202 (half of them) and going to dry for 10-14 Days and in to Jars for another 14-21 Days as I learned from fellow growmies. Wir sind kurz vor dem Ziel. Ich denke in einer Woche ist es soweit, dann wird die Pflanze aus dem Zelt gehen . Und ein schönes Video für den Contest gemacht . Solange wünsche ich viel Spaß mit den kleinen Video und den Bilder heute. Die Pflanze erfüllt zu 100prozent meinen Vorstellungen, da in Deutschland nur maximal 50g/Monat erlaubt sind . Arbeite ich mit einer 3er Rotation, so das monatlich eine Hinzukommt. Mein Ertrag sollte im Bereich von 30-40g liegen. Und hier scheint es genau darauf hinauslaufen. Der Blumat und die Biotabs performen genau wie erhofft, ruhiger , ordentlicher Grow, fast schon zu langweilig . Komplett Problemlos. Es wäre sicher möglich, mehr rausholen . Mit Erhöhung und Zugabe von sonstigen Dünger. Aber wie oben beschrieben, ist mir dieses Ergebnis am liebsten . Freue mich auf nächste Woche. I think it will be ready in a week, then the plant will come out of the tent and a nice video for the contest will be made. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the short video and the pictures today. The plant meets my expectations 100%, as in Germany only a maximum of 50g per month is allowed. I am working with a three-stage rotation so that one is added monthly. My yield should be in the range of 30-40g. And here it seems to be exactly that. The Blumat and the Biotabs are performing exactly as hoped, a quiet, orderly grow, almost boring. Completely trouble-free. It would certainly be possible to get more out of it by increasing and adding other fertilizers. But as described above, this result is my favorite. This week went by well, I will start checking the trichomes on the Runtz at the end of this week. It should be ready for harvest in the next 2 to 3 weeks The G13 is still smelling like magic, looking majestic. The GDP buds are starting to put on weight

Una settimana stupenda piena di tricomi piena di colori e di odori!!! Una pianta spettacolare adoro fast buds e le loro genetiche sono sempre così...come dire?!?! Perfette?!? Si perfette!!!! Darò solo le ultime due innaffiate con overdrive e dopo di che solo acqua per due settimane!!! Grazie a tutti per essere passati da qui alla prossima settimana!!!

4/1/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Veg (Day 59 overall) Water Change Day!!! Water was really low it was just above the hump in the Res cutting it close to not having enough water in the system to keep it going. They drank a lot making it close going the full 14 days. I am still going with the previous grows and adding 36 Gallons but even looking at the root I think the SILICA is working and the roots are further along at this point than in previous grows. This next two weeks will watch how much they drink and how low my Res starts getting, and will make a decision on changing the water weekly from here on out or still keep on the plan of every other week until Week 4 of Flower. I will be taking two clones from each to breed over the next few weeks depending on when I am going to flip them. 4/3/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Veg (Day 61 overall) A little FIMing, A little Topping, and a Little bit of defoliation. Might have to take my clones during the week this week, I am trying to wait until Saturday to hit week 8 but again they are getting all over the place and I need to trim some of the sides and lower areas. 4/4/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Veg (Day 62 overall) I decided to take my clones and clean up the lower half of the plants. I took 2 clones from each plant to go into the cloning machine. 4/5/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Veg (Day 63 overall) Water Temp is sitting at 73. Right in my ideal range for my setup. Ideal range 70-74 My Temp Tent is my ideal zone75.6 Ideal for this grow 70-78 The lights are still waiting the switch to flower to get maxed out... The Humidity is coming in right at 60% I love it.. I took so much off yesterday I figure it was a good day to let them rest. 4/6/2023 Week 7- Day 6 of Veg (Day 64 overall) I needed to Defoliate some and I topped a little. The plants might force me to flip them soon. Next Wed is the 10 week mark half way through the 20 weeks. The net is Bingo... Which means that If/when the plants hit the net I will have to flip them. The Net is set to the max height that I can let them get based on the Breeders Stretch report 75%. 4/7/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Veg (Day 65 overall) #3 is 22 inches Tall, #2 is 19 Inches Tall. Net is set at 24 inches. Net is also set as my Bingo point, if they hit the net then I have to flip no matter what to account for the Breeders recommended 75% Stretch allowance. I think I am going to have to flip right at the 10 week mark of the Competition which is Wed 12 Apr. I topped a little, I de-foliated a lot to start getting it ready for the anticipated Flip.

5/5/2024 Pistils pistils pistils 5/8 these plants are fucking exploding! Super exciting to see them like this. Pistils everywhere and they’re just STACKING! don’t even see budlets yet, just pistils. The structure of these plants is beautiful. They handle training fairly well. I topped one and super cropped it and did a bit of lst. I was feeling impatient so I decided to see what happened if I pushed the one a little harder and left the other to grow naturally.

The ladies have rebounded very nicely. They are filling in the scrog nicely. Did a lot of tucking and bending of tops and leaves this week. The stretch during flower for these ladies is real. Even with the bending and tucking, the girls have easily gained 4 inches this week as well as quite a bit of girth as they bushes out. Temps have been good and RH has been steady between 55-60%. I have good airflow all around and don’t worry too much about it he higher RH at this point in the grow. I’m e seen some incredible phenos of this strain, and can’t wait to see what I’ll get!
