It started out with the usual feed and defoliation and training. With my upcoming vacation, I am going to be hardening off these ladies to relocate to their outside location. I checked the expected weather forecast for the week. Looks good to start hardening off. Partly cloudy with temps in the low to mid 80s just like in their tent. So that’s good. Night temperatures were in the 50-60s. This is much cooler than what they are used to as our house is at 73. They need to get used to what mother nature will provide. Our summers are hot and humid. I had planned to bring the plants back in the sunroom but since conditions were similar, I let them stay outside every night. And every night but 2 it rained. I did not water or feed nutrients this week. I am attempting the scrog technique on all plants. I am using a peony cage as the support structure. The cages are about 2 feet high. This may not be enough side or top support as she grows and may have to resort to tomato cages. Took pics May 6,9, & 11 Opium is a vigorous lady. She will be my glamor girl. She is taller and has the typical sativa structure and has space between the nodes. There is not much leaf growth, so I don’t defoliation much. Her nodes are close but starting to spread out a bit. The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. These ladies have grown amazing this past week. I took of a few of the bigger fan leafs of but other then that just feed this week. The flower sites are starting to form. Definitely starting to smell stronger. All in all Happy Growing.

It was a heavy week! Topped and FIMmed my O.G’s, I have no clue if I even did it right since I just topped of the newest node. Gorilla’s seem to be taking a little longer, they are super nice and dense little bushes! Nice dark green tho! 👨‍🌾🏻 Dropped the light on them a few times and burned off a few leaves had to cut off pretty much 25% off a monkey but doesn’t seem to affect it at all.. 1 OG has clear ladyparts sticking out all over, it’s also by far the best grower out of the 8, hope the rest of the plants show some signs soon 😏 I’m impatient. * End of the week update Did lst and it looks like I stepped on my plants.. they are doing fine no worries it just looks terrible 🐘 The gorilla’s are looking beautiful! Dark green and lush! What do you guys think about the OG that’s already getting so many pistons did it start flowering already??

This week have been amazing. The buds are swelling up and the smell is overwhelming. I broke the stem on one plant and that have damaged it and the result was smaller buds than the rest of the plants. I got 2 orange sherberts that are 1-2 weeks behind in flower and reason unknown. My 2 Haze strains are finishing up rather quickly leaving the Sherberts as the slowest finisher out of the 5 strains from Barney's. Cookies and pink kush are the fastest to finish. All strains are bulking up very nicely. Pink kush: Slow in early veg with beautiful leaves true to the kush strains. I fed them half strenght and they were really loving it early on. Later in veg they went from being the smallest plants to being the biggest plants and for sure a heavy yielder. No issues thru out the grow. Just have no words for the bud structure and colors it is out of this reality to me. More than i could wish for. Just amazing colars thru out the 9 pink kush plants i have. Orange sherbert: This one was for sure the most promising early on with beautiful leaves as well as bouncing back from topping and defoliation. Never really had a problem with the strain other than some cal mag issue. Amazing bud structure taking form in week 6 just mind blowing really. Cookies kush: As vigorous as the Sherbert early on and just finishing out on top. One of the better plants i have is a Cookie but just beautiful flowers forming early on to bulk up and be like knuckles. The other cookie i got formed some abnormal buds almost like its a monstrosity. Just fat colars with Very thick and short pistils. Very sticky and agressive looking and just super pungent. G13 Haze: Did not really pay attention to this strain. I will comment on it after harvest. Utopia Haze: The Utopia Haze early on was very long and had huge leaves. Taller and bigger leaves than the rest but with very long spacing between the nodes. It was forming beautiful flowers that looked ready to harvest before any other strain in the tent. The buds look like the the ice cream on a ice cream cone. Just simply Amazing and beautiful. Cannot wait to keep it to myself and dear ones. It smells so sweet and with a twist of creamy caramel im just blown away.

As of day 21, the Blackberry Kush is growing sizable despite the very deformed growth. After really double checking every parameter last week, I feel comfortable saying it is a genetic issue. Thank you to those who commented and responded to the grow question over the past weeks, it really helps! I want to see how this plant grows and what it yields despite the issue, it should be interesting to see what kind of buds it can end up making. I will perform some LST soon as the plant is growing taller even after topping. I with the twisted leaves and wonky growth, it's actually letting plenty of light penetrate to the lower/center portions of the plant which may have it's own positive outcomes (what can I say, I'm an optimist!) Day 24: even though the twisted leaf growth is keeping the foliage from getting very dense, I am happy that this plant is still a good size and is definitely not stunted! If anything it is acting like a defoliated plant, letting plenty of light penetrate to the lower growth tips and center of the plant. Day 25: earliest signs of flowering. Day 26: 5x per day watering, 15 second duration.

When i arrived i saw that lady twos cage had fell right over her... So some lower branches broke in half.. i tryed to fix it but whatever.. and i took away all the yellow leaves. Also added some organic biobizz nutrience. They r looking good flowering! Weak smell but smells wonderfull. Any tips or advices feel free to comment! Cheers homies!!
