Trying to dial their veg in. Nutes may be too old or too high. Changed with 4ml CaMg per gallon of RO water. The rest is MaxiGrow. Ever since adding rockwool to the grow, I have struggled. I don't have the dry back timed right yet. I moved my fan to dry the top of the pot surface instead of in the root zone or at the canopy height. After about 10 days I dumped out the rockwool and have replaced with hydroton. My initial though on using rockwool was to give the roots more space during late life stages. My experience has been with hydroton and I notice that the roots eventually get bound because the hydroton is a durable material and will not crush or compact. Rockwool on the other hand will compress when squeezed so I was hoping that in the late life stages the roots would compress the rockwool and make more room in the pots. The issue was dryback. If I used chunks instead of croutons, this may help but the other reason I used them was because I had them here already. If anyone is trying to slow their dryback down, they should consider adding 10% volume of croutons to hold moisture in the medium a bit longer. Notice anything different? They are starting to adapt to their new media. Hopefully by next week I can get them to perk up. One plant has looked better than the other three. I have no idea what these plants need to “perk up”. Possibly a different grower. If a grape terpine wasn’t in the end results I would have culled these long ago. Hopefully they perk up when we get to flower. 3 look ,,,, meh, the fourth is descent. Trimmed all four back down to 12” tall. Flower next week.

Blooming along well now. Only vertical height has been bud mass. Happy and healthy and been very easy going so far. She got treated with Dr zhymes as a preventative. That will basically wrap up her treatments ...possibly once more with lost coast. Upped the pk intake as she is blooming strong now. Gotta keep her engine well fuelled. Response was stellar. Seeing as this is my first grow, I’m still learning to read the plant and know what’s going on. Think I’ve developed some fairly advanced leaf septoria. Might not be bad enough to affect the end result, but I’m pretty clueless, so I put up a question about it. Hoping to hear back from more experienced growers about what I’m looking at. Going on week 7 of flower, week 6 if we’re going off of the first pistils, when the breeder recommends 8-9. So I know I’m coming up to the end of things. Cutting back on nutes due to some burnt tips. Not any substantial amount, but put EC on the lower side of the range that GH recommends for its stage in life. Buds smell amazing and seem to be developing great IMO. Had to tie a few down to bring the canopy all to one level again. Didn’t think that sticking my arm down the leaves for 2 seconds worth of tie wrapping would make my arm hair all super sticky for hours. Lol. Every experience is a good learning experience for my first grow.

There’s microscopic bugs crawling on my buds! Going to post a grow question about them. No more nutrients, she’s definitely getting close, so let’s use plain water and hope for the best in the next week or two.

Welcome growfessors to week 4F in the 4x8. LSD, Green Crack and Divine storm are showing the most discoloration, however the bud sites continue to bulk up and frost is showing. Both Mandarin dreams strains, 4 of pheno 1 and 2 of pheno 2 all look good, with a bit of discoloration starting to show. A bit of defoliation and removal of any dead leaves. Not much else to say, they look happy and a bulking up nicely. Tune in next week growfessors for another episode 👽🌳💚

I'm kinda late on the update, week 11 finished on sunday 4, now is feb 9th. Last time i gave them nutrients was on sunday jan 28th, and i cut them down on feb 6th. almost a week and a half of flush. Each plant yielded 65g of wet buds (i forgot to take wet weight photography), i will update the harvest when they are done drying and before curing. Stay alert 😉

The plant is looking absolutely gorgeous, healthy and strong, no issues so far, she was Transplanted into her definitive 15L pot for this season amended with the complete line of biotabs, I've added to this 15L pot 3 slow release tablets (one for every 5L of soil) and also mixed 2 table spoons of startrex for every 10L of soil and right before transplanting this lady I've sprinkled a couple of grams of mycotrex on the transplant hole, after the transplant was done I watered with 1g per liter of water of bactrex and 1ml oer liter of water of orgatrex
