Week 25 overall, corresponding to week 3 of flowering for the Pineapple Upside Down. Flowering has now clearly declared itself. Bud sites are visible everywhere, with consistent pom-pom formation across the canopy. Despite being at a relatively early stage of bloom, terpene expression is already strong. Upon opening the tent, a distinct pineapple aroma is noticeable, which is very encouraging for such an early phase. Vegetatively, the plant will not recover its original leaf coloration. This is accepted at this point. However, flower development appears to be on track, and the plant is allocating energy toward reproductive growth rather than foliage recovery. A light defoliation was performed, along with the removal of lower, non-productive flower sites. This cleanup aims to avoid wasting energy on underdeveloped buds and to focus resources on the upper canopy. A fresh flowering nutrient solution was prepared. PK has been introduced lightly, in accordance with the Athena feeding schedule for week 3 of flowering. Electrical conductivity is set around 2.1 EC, with a target pH close to 6.0 to ensure stable nutrient uptake. Light intensity will be increased progressively, with PPFD moving toward approximately 600 to support proper bud development and flower density. Although the foliage remains visually poor, flower formation, structure, and aroma remain the key indicators at this stage. Given the short flowering time of this cultivar (around 45 days), timing is critical, and the next weeks will be decisive. The focus going forward will be on stability, controlled feeding, and optimized light management to extract the best possible outcome from this cycle.

There isn’t a ton to report this week other than the two behind my garage are on their stretch, and the one in the garden is bulking up. It has been raining a lot here, I gave all two big dosages of cal/mag and tiger bloom. I figured most of the nutrients were washing through the soil. I haven’t noticed any nute burns, so I’ll likely keep feeding them once a week. I did some bud backbuilding on my garden plant about a week ago, because the other two didn’t look as developed, i snipped the tip of the buds on the other two about two days ago. I think overall I should have a pretty good yield this summer, I wish I had a bit more purple buds, but hey🤷‍♂️ Purple kush none the less. I’m signing out for the week, thanks for tuning in. Cheers.

9-3 Little light burn, bumped up. Good and steady. One of her cotyledon came out black and a little smaller than the other. Seems to be ok. More worried about the light. 😂 9-6 Good growth. Slight discoloration in leaves. Humidifier blowing on her. Added a fan low, for flow!😱️🤘 500ml yesterday with HP connect.

06/02/2020 Gonna feed them today 1tbls of blood meal. I snapped a branch on #2 (see video) her stems, I don't like break to easy so I will give some micro nutrients to help stems from breaking. Unless she is the HOLY GRAIL. I will cull her clone. All others handed super cropping well. 🙏 #4 in hydro is in it's own diary called Small Batch Seed making some F1 #1 showed her sex today, clones well took cut on 05/20/2020 is rooting well outside in coco coir, in humidity dome just cut and scrape the stem,once rooted I cut off yellowing leaves i hope her smoke is as good as she looks. 5 days into week 10 and #2, and #4 are male so indoors they go for pollen collection. Will dust one bud of each female with each male and hunt for what I want. Also see what each passes on in the cross.

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 THE MOST PHOTOGENIC Thinking about changing the title of the diary to that.. 😂😂 I swear the camera loves this one.. And it's not the placement because I've tried moving them to that same spot and the pictures just don't come out the same. I guess the others just need to mature a bit more and they'll be more appealing in pictures because in person they really are.. 😍 Green sensation is really bringing it to the table. Buds are getting fat, stinky and sticky! I'll have to add a bit of support for sure because some are starting to bend a bit. Smell is just grrreat! She's definetly not ready yet so those 40-45 days of flower aren't that correct.. No problem with me though, i'm glad they've got more time to rippen up. Not much difference in nutrients.. I do use 2ml/L of enzymes every 10 days or so in flower.. Noticed it does great work in the roots during flower. Hope you enjoy the pics and vids. Taken on day 42 of flower. Throughout the week I’ve continued using gentle Low Stress Training while regularly tucking large fan leaves behind developing flowering sites whenever needed. No defoliation has been performed so far. The goal isn’t removing leaves—it’s allowing them to continue acting as efficient solar panels while simply repositioning them to improve light penetration and airflow. As new flowering sites develop, small adjustments are all that’s needed to expose each future cola without unnecessarily reducing the plant’s photosynthetic capacity. With such vigorous vertical growth, this approach is producing an open canopy while preserving every bit of energy available for flower production. The flowering transition is now well underway. Fresh white pistils are emerging across every branch, and bud sites are beginning to stack from the lower nodes all the way to the main apex. Rather than producing isolated flowers, she’s already showing excellent distribution across the entire plant, promising multiple productive colas instead of relying solely on the main top. What impresses me most is how effortlessly she carries her size. Even with her height, the branches remain well balanced, the stem is thick and healthy, and the overall structure feels surprisingly stable. She has responded beautifully to gentle LST, opening the canopy naturally without ever looking stressed. There is still plenty of stretch left, but the focus is clearly beginning to shift. Every day more pistils appear, every node becomes more defined, and the framework for what could become a very productive harvest is steadily taking shape. Yesterday some recharge because she was dry, today some calmag and some gaiagreen bloom

This week went by quick but they grew a lot! I didn't do anything different than last week but just increase their water intake from 1L to 1.5L and then followed my same nutrient regiment. I use the Fish Poop then the next day I just water. Then I use the Real Growers Soil Recharge and then I just water the next day. Then I use the MaxiGrow and then I just water the next day. Then I use the Stash Blend and then I use just water the next day. You can pH (using soil) between 5.5 and 6.5 so I always pH my Nutrient Solutions at 6.2 and use my pH'd water which is a 6.8 (7.0 for soil) but I pH my H20 after adding my Nutrient Solutions. I use my H2O that's always 65 degrees! I find it's better and easier to have a bucket with pH'd water ready to go at all times. It makes it easier when watering and feeding your plants especially if you have a few to care of!

🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.

FBA 2025 turned Frostbanger was a fun grow in many ways. First, my friend gifted me the seed and I grew outside while she grew inside. It was fun to watch the plants grow in different settings and different growing methods. If you have been following me, then you know our weather has been crazy here. We have had lows of 50* and highs of 90*. We had a hail storm and lots and lots of rain. Today, I was. forced to take my Frostbanger down. I found a couple of buds rotting and it is supposed to rain for the next 4 days, so this grow has come to an end. But first, true to Frostbanger's description, "Just keep in mind, this strain’s dank, pungent odor is super strong—meaning a carbon filter is a must to mask the aroma in any grow room and she’ll make her presence known when grown outside" and boy did my backyard smell. Also, just like its name, it is a "trichome-studded beauty." Sticky, sticky, sticky. It also had a nice fruity smell, almost like a cantaloup. I like to wet trim, so I spent the past 2 days trimming. My wet bud weight is 102.19 ounces. Not A big harvest. Had to throw away some bud rot and I had to take this plant down early --But that is how a hail storm, cold weather, hot weather, Rain and more rain will effect a harvest. I'm happy to be somewhat successful. FYI: today's weather: It has rained 2.05 inches in the past 24 hours and expecting 1.6 inches in the next 24 hours.. I am pretty proud of Frostbanger's cola as it is 10 inches long and approximately 9 inches around. Wish I could have seen it with 2 more weeks of growth. I may not have the growing experience of others, but I am super happy with this grow and glad I could enter a contest. It was fun!

Day 81. Chop day for twin Northern Lights. Day 84. Two rows hanging, not the fattest, I would trim better, but STILL - I think it will be close to hundred ... Said to my friend 80 max ;))) he is running out of previous amazing harvest and this one is definitely smaller ... Stressing him a bit ;)))))))) but you never know till you jar ... Happy Growing !

Streatched the main-colas from day to day a bit more while they grow to the outside, now the inner section gets light and a lot of new buds can develop to a nice size. But the plant is taking over the space. Have made a tee from the leaves of teh last weeks and some kitchenherbs, and then made some leaffeading with 1:5 ratio with the tea in the evening with it. Also i gave her half Liter of ( extra to her 1L Nutri in the morning). Repeated the Tea with 1L in higher concentration after a few days.
