August 18, day 108 (day 41f), the buds are going through their final ripening before harvest. They are putting on a bit of weight still, but the trichomes are close to where I would like them to be (entirely cloudy) and there is some foxtailing starting on some of the buds. I don't mind the foxtailing as it means more harvest weight, but the plant is definitely getting closer to the end of its life. The Mandarine scent and beautiful red tones make this strain a winner. The buds are chunky in a good, balanced, "I'm not going to find rot in the middle" kind of way. August 21, day 111 (44f), flush soon, cut soon. Two Chile Verde clones by HBK genetics 🙌🙏 from Buds N Roses. Will be testing some natural pgrs and BAP to mid flower one one clone and test my DIY K Citrate krebs cycle stimulator. Will also see the difference when using immune triggers like chitosan foliar and harpin vs none. 11/20 ph runoff was 6.5 and 1250ppm

New experiment stay tuned. Found this old pot may be 40-60 gallons im not sure the thing is huge. I had to squeeze it in the closet.

On day 1 I changed out my reservoir. I lowered my nutes to 650 ppm(25% reduction). I adjusted the PH down to 6.1. My left plant has some burnt tips from either PH shift or over fertilization. My hope is that the lower ppm will help to resolve the issue before it spreads. On day 2 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.3 to 5.9. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.0. I installed my new 200 watt HLG Rspec. I adjusted PPFD readings to 700-1300 PPFD on all tops. On day 4 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.2. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.4 to 6.0. I diluted my nutrients in my reservoir by removing one gallon of nutrients from the rez and and adding 2 gallons of straight tap water to the rez. This brought the nute concentration from 770 ppm to 540 ppm as the plants will be entering the ripening stage in a few days and they have too much nitrogen judging by the extremely dark green leaves and burnt leaf tips on some branches of the left side plant. The buds seem slightly smaller then my last run which may be due to an excess of nitrogen and maybe not enough light as some of my tops are taller then the others making proper PPFD challenging. All in all the girls are coming along nice and I look forward to the final weeks of flowering 😀 On day 6 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.9 to 6.2. I think I have halted the nute burn as I haven't seen it progressing any more on the leaves. I will continue to monitor closely during these final weeks. The trichome production is increasing with some trichs on top of colas starting to go cloudy. The pistils are turning brown with roughly 40-50% are turning brown all signs I'm getting closer to the harvest window 😆. I dimmed my light to give 600-1000 PPFD to tops. On day 7 I reduced my temps to 75 during the day and 68 at night. I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.6 to 6.1. My reservoirs ppm was too high so I diluted the rez with 2 gal of tap water. This brought it down to 480ppm. The average ppfd to all 14 tops is 604 with no top receiving more than 1000 ppfd

June 12, 2020 Week 7 I added some manure to all the pots. 2 of the plants aren’t growing much so Im leaving them to grow, and see what happens. Plants were a bit too wet from previous thunderstorms, now waiting for them to dry out so I can try and bring their ph down. Thank you and happy grow🌱 June 14, 2020 Plants started to dry out so we added ph down water and authentik Veg nutrients 4-3-2 by nutri+. Ph’s mix equivalence was around 5.8 So we brought the ph up to +/- 6.4 For ph Up we used sodium bicarbonate(baking soda). And used 1 litre of water per pot. Thanks happy grow!!!

Week 3 starts Poundcake #1 is on Day 15 as of 25/07 the rest are between day 11 and 14 Poundcake #1 suffering slight light burn from me putting the se3000 power up to 75%. Its back down to 65% now 😅 The two smaller pots on the right are in coco not living soil. Just keeping them indoors for now why not 👌 Added a organic seedless straw mulch for more microbe friendly activity and help prevent the fast drybacks I'm getting with the current heat 😰

Only 7 weeks to go. I'm noticing some leaves are browning. It's mostly leaves that get little light, but I believe it may be over watering. Gonna reduce how often I water for right now. The plant itself smells little to me, to others its very noticeable. Not skunky at all, more of a cookies and cream scent I believe. Also slight wpm residue, tried watering thru the leaves because of how low the plant is. Terrible idea.

It's week five of flowering, and everything is currently going according to plan. The buds are slowly growing bigger and becoming frosty. Once again, Barney's Farm provides top-quality seeds you can rely on.

I received my Mars Hydro lights and they helped a lot. 2 TS-1000's. I supper cropped some of the 12/12 from seed and it looks like something trampled through the garden. Lol. The rest are really stretching now. I hope I the larger ones don't get rootbound. 🤞😁😁😁

- Day 71 I increased the height from the lamp a bit further trying to get about 600-700 ppfd across the canopy, just to help her finish and prevent trichomes from degrading into CBD too fast. Hopefully She will be ready to cut down this week. Day 72 Still seeing a lot of clear trichomes, think we gonna be waiting for a while still. 😅 There's quite a few white pistils node still as well, which makes me believe she is still not done swelling. Day 73 Still waiting on those trichomes to get cloudy...took some vids today, seems to be easier to get a better peak the the trichomes than just a still shot. Also had to do another watering with 2L's of water. Day 74 That darker purple color is getting stronger and stronger every day. Day 75 Not sure if you can tell from the day 75 pics, but there's actually still so many white pistils. I'm gonna be waiting a while I think 😅 Day 76 Still a lot of clear trichomes for now, but these buds are definitely still fattening up. We’ve entered week eight, one of the final weeks, since the genetics I chose are listed as **8–9 weeks from seed to harvest**. I hope we’re close to the end, because the plants are becoming more and more stressed and I still can’t understand what the problem is. It almost seems like some kind of nutrient uptake lockout. For now, the maturation of the flowers doesn’t seem to be compromised, and the trichomes are starting to develop a nice color, although the buds still look a bit sparse. As with last week, Diesel is holding up well, even though she is also starting to show some leaf issues. I just hope this is due to the flowering stage. The others, however, seem to be getting worse, especially Sunset. Wedding Cake is maturing well, although the spots keep reappearing and some leaves are starting to yellow there too. Sunset, on the other hand, seems to have slowed down in maturation, and the leaves are getting worse and worse. I’m limiting defoliation because I don’t want to add more stress to a plant that is already suffering quite a lot. -------------------------------- **End of W8 Update:** Thanks to the help of this amazing community, Sunset and Wedding have recovered really well! Diesel, on the other hand, is still struggling, but due to my lack of experience I can’t really tell whether it’s just because it’s reaching the end of its cycle, or if the care I gave didn’t bring the results I was hoping for. The buds seem pretty mature now, they’re getting richer in terpenes and reaching a good size, but I’m also wondering whether the treatments I gave this plant may have made the situation worse.
