Wasn't satisfied with the net that came packed with the ACI 4x4 so I modified it with some string and zip ties. I find this works great because I have 2"x2" holes now that are partial elastic making weaving the tops much more forgiving on both me and her. I'm very happy with the direction this grow is heading. Along with the massive undertaking of redirecting all this growth. Roughly 8 hours off and on to redirect, defoliate and remove branches. She had a nutrient change and I moved on to week 5 of the FF Hydro schedule. I added about 1/2 tsp of Fox Farm Sledgehammer to the nutrients in my reservoir and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Then pumped out the solution and flushed with roughly 20 gallons of fresh cold 6.0 pH tap water. Then added the new solution with Tiger Bloom.

Lookin good, no more herms so far as I’ve tightened things up hopefully that’s the last of them for good. I installed a 4Inch AC infinity fan and filter as an intake so I have been able to close all of the vents. At this point the leaf strip has proven to be a solid method, I have nothing to compare bud size at this point but just the extra space it opened up is a plus. I’m sure the lowers will be a little more firm and the plants obviously haven’t had to be fed as often as usual so its saving time, water and nutrients. The added microbes have also allowed me to keep my ppm around 1000 instead of 1080ish without any sign of deficiencies. The Mandarin cookies x Dionysus has a little cal-mag issue but that was a trait from the mother which out of 10+ grows all had a cal-mag deficency. Day 77 (f15): The Runtz is stretching considerably more than the Kosher Dawg (which will need to be elevated - probably by putting planks under the dwc reservoir). Ran out of Plagron nutrients and couldn't find anymore! So I bought the only ones available at the hydro store 'hy-pro hydro A & B), these nutrients are much less concentrated and I already used up near to half a litre of nutrients on my reservoir change day (yesterday)! The yellow tips on the Runtz seem to be light stress, as during the res change the nutrient dosage was lowered and ph maintained between 5.7-6.1 and she shows she is hungry but the yellow tips got slightly worse to the light is 15cm higher now. Nice strong vegetative smell releases when I rub any part of the plants :D It is getting difficult to take pictures where you can actually see the size of the plants because the space is so packed! Can't wait to do the heavy defoliation after the stretch (in like 5-7 days from now)! Day 80 (f18) update: 😀 The Kosher Dawg stretched 8-10cm since day f15. EC and PH very stable at 1.5 and 5.9. During the next water res change, when all the water is out of the res (so it weighs less) I will try add planks under the reservoir to elevate the Kosher Dawg to a height similar to that of the Runtz (currently approx 15 cm difference in height). The Kosher Dawg took longer to start stretching than the Runtz and the bud development started later. Does this mean I should also do the 'day 21 defoliation' - which should be between the stretch and the focus on bud height development - a few days later for this Kosher Dawg than for the Runtz? Looking forward to defoliating and finding out what she is truly packing under all those fan leaves! 😃

Week 4 wrapped and the tent vibes are good. Maybe not my best genetics, but with what I've learned this past year I'm steering the ship better-best results at this stage so far (still a ways to go before harvest). The left/big lady flashed a bit of N hunger, so I tailored her feed-bumped Grow and overall strength just for her. The rest are cruising; one or two have slightly smaller buds, so I'm nudging their feed to help them catch up. Resin's stacking and the first terps are peeking through. Light: center cola was ~60k lux, so I raised the fixture and dimmed to ~75%-now ~55k in the middle and 45-50k on the edges. Opened a few airflow lanes and set the clip fan to bounce off the wall (not scalp the tops) to keep microclimates from throwing tantrums. Question: with no stress showing, would you keep the center at 60k lux and chase max intensity, or back it off a bit for uniformity like I did? I'll test the top suggestions and share side-by-sides next update. Appreciate you all-growmies rock!

The girl in the back looks like she will be ready by the end of the week the front one looks like it may need an extra week. 08/18 watered each with 12 cups plus saps. Leaving the heater off to drop the temps in this last week or two and gonna start letting em dry back now. 08/21 top inch of soil still nice and moist. From the hairs and trichomes looks like im gonna chop in 9 days at the end of week 9 day 63. 08/22 woke up to saggy fan leaves watered each with 12 cups with saps. Starting to see some fade as well

Thursday 16th march day 59 Harvested a couple days earlier then planned as my humidity was getting a bit high and worried about risking mold I decided to chop, have to get a good dehumidifier soon, everything looking lovely, nice and dense with very strong fruity potent smell definitely the best looking plants I have grown to date not the biggest buds but they look quality, chopped plants whole gonna do my best to keep the temp and rh% in the dry room as close 60/60 as I can to get a nice slow dry, 🍁😎 I only took the wet weight from 1 plant back left plant was 270g with large fan leaves removed

This was a beautiful strain to grow. With her flowers getting big towards the end of harvest as well as the purple colours! I would definitely recommend that you try grow this strain. The buds are super dense and very well formed. An absolute treat to smoke and look at.

The seeds had problems to sprout, but after the second week the plant exploded in growth. I have limited space so I am doing multiple harvests to try and maximize all buds. This week I harvested the tops and in the next 1-2 weeks will do the rest of the plant. Updated Week 8 harvest 68 dry Week 9 harvest 85 dry Week 10 harvest 34 + 25 (popcorn) dry Total: 212

The colours are popping! I’ve started to taper off the nutrients, I don’t typically “flush” the plants, but rather taper nutrients down until I have been able to give straight phd water for the last 3-4 feeds, making sure to water until I get about 5-10% runoff. I’ve tried both methods , the other being that I pour like 10 gallons of water through the plant, and I can’t tell the difference with my smoke, still clean and very tasty. I did a small defoliation at the end of the week, and added a support pole for the 1 lady in the far back, she was already starting to lean… just a couple of weeks to go !

Long time since I've been here!... finally back and growing crack!.. well weed... well u know.. Finally got back on here.. these only pics I have left from this grow.. this one been a journey thru and thru.. as u can see that both trees haha. Switched to the HLG a month or so ago and they were light burned pretty quickly.. this light pretty intense.. 50% too strong for veg even at 30 inches away.. thought it was nute burn or overwatering.. eventually solved it. Backed light to 40% and things got 100% better. So if u have this light the less the better at first! Put them in flower this week. So I'll be updating those pics next! They both doing great other then the light burn which I know figured out... next issue will be when to turn it up for flower and when to bring lights closer .. figure once I see first pistil. Signs pistol. Flower I'll turn it up to 50% but keep same distance.
