Strain
First of all, I want to start saying that Stress Killer backfired and stressed me – well, at least a little at the end of flowering -, even so, it made to its purpose after all.
GROWING:
Germination was a little bit complicated, it took 7 full days and out of 3, 2 seeds germinated, being this one what I call phenotype #1.
At her first days she grew exceptionally, as well as the whole veg phase.
This pheno has some really good internode spacing, giving you enough for airflow and avoiding a whole lot of defoliation for me.
I started the LST on the 3rd week and she responded very well to it, showing no significant >stress< at all.
Pre-flower started at the end of the 4th week/beginning of the 5th and that´s when she started stretching A LOT, to a point that I couldn´t control her LST so well anymore at the end of the 5th week.
She didn´t drank too much neither too little water.
Bud formation started at the beginning of the 6th week and she continued to grow vigorously untill the 9th week, where she was basically just maturing the thricomes while fattening a little tiny bit.
At the end of the 9th week I expected another 2 weeks for her to get mature to the point that I wanted ( about 30% amber ).
But then, it happened.
The stress was real and she was not ready yet to kill it.
At day 90 she was diagnosed with severe rot and I had to put her to eternal sleep.
It was no fault of the genetics tho, I later on discovered that the humidity got to 88% during lights off and that is certainly the problem.
She deals greatly with pests ,and mold probably, but the situation was way over control.
The branches weren´t so thick but were strong.
Overall, it´s a nice seed to grow, it´s strong, quite easy, as most of RQS autos, and yielded just fine.
REVIEW:
Ok, so that´s the part where she surprised me.
After exactly 8 days of drying and 14 days of curing, even tho I like to cure at least 3 weeks, she is all ready to smoke and I can already know a bit of her potential.
She was already smelling incredible in the 3rd day of cure. A smell strong yet subtle of fresh lemon.
Now the taste is something else. Different from pheno #2 ( my other Stress Killer grow I did side-by-side ), this herb doesn´t have the flavors expected for this genetic.
The taste is a subtle lemon followed by a medium spicyness and ending with a strong diesel flavor. The lemon fades almost instantly, while the diesel and spicy taste remains at the mouth for a while.
After that, you get at first a relaxing body high ( probably the CBD hitting faster than the THC ), followed by a subtle, yet noticeable uplifting high that makes you more creative, willing to do chores or new things at your free time. It´s good to watch something or to play videogames as well.
In terms of effects, it´s the perfect smoke for anything you want to do, excpet sleeping ( at least for me ). And its ok potency guys, I get it, she has at optimal conditions 11% THC and 8% CBD, which is not much. But that gives me a good margin to smoke more quantities ( which I know won´t be good for everyone ), get less stupidly high and in the end, to work more as well.
The only two downsides I found, which you find in basically every herb, are a little bit of dry mouth and sometimes a little accelerated heartbeats, or at least the feeling of.
To conclude it all, it´s a smoke that I would recommend to anyone. The downsides are really subtle, maybe due to the CBD content, it tastes good, smells good and makes you happy and more proactive.
