Hey everyone at week 4 know and wow have these girls grown early this week I applied some LST and all took really well to say it was my first time trying this

The yellow lid make for some really bad pictures. Playing around with things, as usual I gave in and added a filter pump to my reservoir as the water temp can peak near 23c during the day. I dont have my ambient chiller inline this time. The filter also oxygenates the water so this wouldnt be a pure fog run, oh well. Half fog, half dwc🤷‍♂️

Girls are doing well with the LST. Kosher cake was topped last week and now has what looks like 8 heads. 3rd of June have given the girls living soil veg.

Quick Notes: I notice as I go into full-blown flower, the plants are starting to need less frequent waterings, especially North. The watering system overflows her pot often, and the AKs soils feel relatively damp before the auto-watering starts. All plants are stopping their growth also. Update July 30 102 °F Plants now need to be watered twice a day with 3/4 gallons. All my garden is burned except these incredibly girls, is a hard challenge. I can't understand not how much these plants survive but how they thrive instead Very hard to stay outside, very hard to take decent pics, very hard to sleep, to breath too. Closed at home I am building a dry trimming dock with a 120 microns sieve which I will then use to beat the dry trim in the Moroccan way. On Monday 27, the first day of the second heat wave, 90 ° F, the plant already begins to show signs of low heat stress and the forecasts are very bad, this could last for 2 weeks. This is a problem for me because I have planned to start stressing the plant with underwater, an impossible mission in this heat. For the same reason I'll stop to defoliate. I was forced to bend the tallest branches again for privacy reasons, this girl is fucking vigorous. From now on I will stop counting the height and the water, the first because the plant is completely folded 3/4 times and has exceeded 75 inches abundantly. The latter because I water them directly with the water hose. I will report only nutes when gived. Grasshoppers are starting their fucking job chewing leaves but I don't care, this resilient girl has tons of leaves so I'll let them to make defoliation in my place, checking only the new sprouts and for mites. Occasional mealybugs are prompted burned by my lighter, the best method!!! Still waiting for stigmas. 10/19: This morning when I opened up the closet I wanted to rearrange a little, but they were so packed in, it was almost impossible. So, I went up in the attic and ran some cables and hooked up my other 200w light in the top section. I moved the 4 smallest plants up there and it created a little bit of desperately needed space in the lower section...but I still doubt very seriously that I'll be able to grow all 15 to completion in there..it's only 14.5 square feet of space!😳 10/20: I foliar fed everybody with some SP-90 humic/fulvic acid and kelp me kelp you today. They will probably get fed again tomorrow. Drying out quickly- 10/21: I applied Axiom again today..I sprayed a whole liter of the finest mist I could produce..tops and bottoms of all leaves to the point of runoff. I fixed up a 5 gallon batch of nutes and fed everybody about a 1/4 gallon each. Later the same day.... Several of them look very overwatered..and it's mainly the plants in the back in fabric pots that have seen a grow or two. I think my pots are mainly just too close together for airflow to dry the bottoms out well enough. I put another big fan in the closet and turned off the evap cooler for the night. 10/22: Most of them look better this morning, but a few are still droopy, so I used a stainless steel skewer to poke a thousand little holes in the lower part of all the fabric pots in the garden to try and improve oxygen availability to the roots. I also carefully arranged the garden so that there are gaps between all the pots. I think I'll also space my waterings a little further apart. The topsoil is drying out well enough, but I don't want their roots sitting in muck. 10/23: Several of them are flowering now, and starting to stretch a little bit. I raised the lights about 2 inches today and dialed the ac infinity's high temp trigger up to 88f for a bit to get them to dry out a little faster, so the RH climbed a little higher as well...so I also set the ac infinity's high humidity trigger threshold to 65%. After observing signs of nitrogen toxicity on several of them, I realized that I made another rookie mistake...(where is my head??) The new 5 gallon bucket I'm using to mix a batch of nutes must be about 2 inches shorter than the one I had been using, and I never bothered to calibrate it....which I did today. So, for the past couple of feedings, I've been mixing in enough nutes for 5 gallons, but in only 4 gallons of water!!! I foliar fed them with BoomBoom Spray and gave them about 8oz each of boomerang and cal-mag early in the morning, and by 5pm they all looked happier. I'll give them a little drink of plain water tomorrow, then start them on flowering nutes the next day. 10/24: Several are starting to stretch now...and all but one are flowering. This morning I fed them another little dose of boomerang and cal-mag, and also added some bembe and open sesame to the mix. This afternoon, I foliar fed everybody very thoroughly with some humic/fulvic acid, seaweed extract, yucca extract, and big bloom (for the earthworm castings and minor and trace elements) I repotted the dwarf in a smaller container and gave it to my son. He's a bonsai enthusiast, so it's right up his alley...that's one less plant to deal with! 10/25: This evening I mixed up 5 gallons of pretty much everything except grow big. and gave everybody about 1/4 gallon each. I plan to flush them with sledgehammer on Sunday or Monday and only do foliar feedings like BoomBoom spray and fulvic acid until I resume normal bloom feeding mid-week. Because I've had such a good veg, I'm pretty sure the maximum number of plants I'll be able to fit into the lower section is 13...and maybe only 12. So, that will be my 4 or 5 shortest plants in the area above..in which case, I'll need more light... I think the new UVB light will have to wait until my next grow because I've got so spend a couple hundred bucks on seeds to be able to start another batch right before my current run finishes.😖😞😩😡

Day 50 - Day 3 - 9/2 - Moved up to 3/4 strength of Plagron today, no extras, just about 5ml of cal mag. 850ppm @ 5.8ph. - 9" tall today still Day 51 - Day 4 - 9/3 - 9.5" tall! woohoo!! - Gave 4 liters today, wash her out a bit but kept ppm same. - Runoff coming out about 1000 ppm. Day 52 - Day 5 - 9/4 - 10" Tall - Gave another 4 liters today, but added in some power buds for some fun! Day 53 - Day 6 - 9/5 - 10" tall still - Accidently added my additives before my bloom today....I mean I'm just using one additive i guess, LOL the Power Buds. Well....I'm not remaking, she can yell at me if she doesn't like it LOL - Still giving 3/4 strength at about 850 ppm Day 54 - Day 7 - 9/6 - 10.5" - Went a little under today, gave only about 710 ppm at 6.1 ph. 4 liters. - Noticed a couple of tips today, will bring her back down, probably go back to 1/2 strength over the next few feedings. - Still on 5ml of cal mag. Day 55 - Day 8 - 9/7 - Lowered her today, Gave about 13ml of bloom, no additives. 15ml/gal is 3/4 strength btw LOL. 660ppm @ 5.8ph. - First runoff was in the 900s, so gave full 4 liters to lower a bit, but only made it to the 800s. - Went ahead and just made a small cal mag rinse of about 250ppm and a bit of SLF real quick to bring her ppm down some more. Gave her 2 liters. Got her to 720ppm @ 5.7ph runoff. - 10.5" - Will go to normal feed tomorrow at 1/2 strength (10ml/gal). Day 56 - Day 9 - 9/8 - IT'S MY 24TH ANIVERARY TODAY!!! 24 years, 2 beautiful boy that are all grown up now, and 12 wonderful cats. It's been an amazing journey! - Week 2 of Flower starts today! - 11" tall - Normal feed, but at 1/2 strength now, about 636 ppm @ 6.0 ph. Added some power buds too today. Gave 2 liters. - Runoff was 700ppm @ 6.1. Perfect! - Think I found her sweet spot, 1/2 strength at about 650 ppm for now....at least till next week LOL **Happy Anniversary, Babe! Well, she started to hold on to some salts after her flip into flower. She liked that small flush I gave. I will keep her low on the ppm side. She'll be dropping that cal mag soon too! Don't want to forget that, I forgot to drop it in Trillianz and got some orange leaves. I swear, I have to rely on Alexa to remind me of EVERYTHING! Maybe I smoke too much.... Slushie is gorgeous! Loving those bushy leaves and the cats are too! Nice pretty color too. She should start stretching more soon. Can't wait.

Awesome Week💚 Following some great discussions with more experienced growers, I really think we got things back on track!🚆 🙏 To Those Growmies! I really raised the ppm this week we topped out around 630 PPM This was in an attempt to balance out some nutrition issues. I think the ladies have responded very well. 😃🌱💪 Raised the light up to 24in as well a few days later after seeing positive changes due to feeding regiment. Started preflowering, showing pistols on all plants. Counting down these last 7-8 weeks when the ladies beauty comes out 🤩 Will update throughout the week with photos and videos. She just keeps getting more beautiful. 👑🌿 Godfather OG Pheno B has reached that point in the run where I can walk into the room, look at her for a few seconds, and immediately think: "Yep... she's doing exactly what she wants to do." 😂 She's growing beautifully. She's maintaining that gorgeous green. She's continuing to build her flowers. She's getting increasingly covered in resin. And that personality we've been watching throughout the entire adventure? Still there. She's still a Queen. Just a very busy one. 😂👑🌸 So this week, once again... the spotlight belongs to her. Because she deserves it. ──────────────────────── 🌱 WEEK 11 – STILL BECOMING HERSELF ──────────────────────── There wasn't a huge amount of physical intervention this week. And honestly... that's perfectly fine. The plants have already done the hard work of building their structures. The branches are established. The flowering sites are developed. The canopy is doing its job. And now we're reaching the stage where I really enjoy stepping back and simply watching. Godfather OG Pheno B is doing exactly that. She's growing. She's developing. She's filling her structure. And she's becoming more and more recognizable as her own phenotype. That's one of my favourite things about this whole 8×8 Adventure. At the beginning, we're looking at plants with potential. As the weeks pass, that potential starts becoming personality. And now? I look at Pheno B and think: "Okay... I know you." 😂👑 She's the beautiful, hungry, composed Queen who quietly keeps asking for more while getting on with the job. ──────────────────────── 👑 THE QUEEN IS STILL SHINING ──────────────────────── There are plants that demand attention because something is wrong. And then there are plants that demand attention because something is going very right. Godfather OG Pheno B is definitely in the second category. She's simply beautiful. Her structure. Her colour. Her flowers. Her resin. The way she occupies her space. Everything is starting to come together. And what I particularly like is that she doesn't need to be the biggest plant in the room to make herself noticed. She has her own presence. You walk past her... and your eyes stop. 😂👑 There's something about her. She's becoming one of those plants where you already know what you're looking at before you even check the label. That's when a phenotype really starts becoming memorable. ──────────────────────── 🌸 THE FLOWERS KEEP GETTING BETTER ──────────────────────── And of course... the flowers. 🌸🌿💎 This is where the excitement continues. The flowering structures are becoming increasingly developed, and the plant is starting to look more and more like the finished vision we had in mind when this journey began. There's something incredibly satisfying about watching those tiny changes accumulate. One week doesn't necessarily look dramatically different from the previous one. But then you look back at an older photograph... and suddenly: Whoa. She's changed. 😂 That's why documenting these plants matters. We're not just taking pretty pictures. We're creating a timeline. A visual record of the plant becoming herself. And Godfather OG Pheno B is definitely becoming something beautiful. ──────────────────────── 🍃 THAT BEAUTIFUL GREEN ──────────────────────── Her colour continues to be one of the things I really enjoy about this phenotype. That healthy green remains such a strong part of her character. And when you compare her with her sister, you can still see the family resemblance. Same genetics. Different phenotype. Similar foundations. Different expression. That's the beauty of having both Godfather OG girls in the same room. You can see the similarities... but you can also see the differences. Pheno A has her own Queen energy. Pheno B has her own. And while both are demanding, both hungry and both beautiful... they don't express themselves in exactly the same way. We've added the two additional Future of Grow Black Series 600W fixtures to the room. And after initially seeing that the available intensity was higher than our target, we've reduced the output to approximately: 💡 ~59% power from the plug That gives us around: ☀️ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy with the intensity naturally changing depending on plant height and position. And I really like what this gives us. More lighting capacity. More flexibility. More control. Without needing to run everything at maximum. We're not interested in simply producing the biggest number possible. We're interested in creating an environment where the plants can make good use of the photons available to them. And Pheno B certainly seems happy to catch them. 😂💡👑 ──────────────────────── ☀️ THE QUEEN IS CATCHING PHOTONS ──────────────────────── I've said this throughout the 8×8 reports, but I think it becomes more interesting every week. When we look at a beautiful flowering plant, we're looking at the visible result of thousands of invisible processes. The lights come on. Photons enter the canopy. Leaves intercept them. Photosynthetic machinery captures that energy. And that energy becomes part of the enormous chain of processes happening inside the plant. Growth. Maintenance. Development. Flower formation. Everything we're looking at ultimately connects back to that energy capture. And Godfather OG Pheno B has built herself a beautiful structure for doing exactly that. She's got healthy foliage. She's got multiple levels. She's got flowers throughout the plant. She's got a three-dimensional canopy. She's essentially created her own little photon-catching architecture. 😂☀️🌿 And now we're watching what she does with it. ──────────────────────── 💡 NOT JUST LIGHT FROM ABOVE ──────────────────────── The additional lighting philosophy remains important too. And Godfather OG Pheno B is saying: "Just keep everything working." 😂 So that's what we're doing. Stable environment. Stable irrigation. Appropriate nutrition. Good airflow. Controlled lighting. Observation. And patience. The boring stuff... which is often the most important stuff. 😂🌱 ──────────────────────── 📸 THE CAMERA STILL LOVES HER ──────────────────────── And honestly... I understand why. This girl photographs beautifully. The green foliage. The developing flowers. The resin. The structure. There's always something happening when you put the camera in front of her. Macro photography becomes particularly interesting at this stage. The closer you look, the more detail appears. Trichomes. Pistils. Tiny structures. Little changes in the flower surface. It's almost like looking at an entirely different plant. And that's one of the reasons I enjoy documenting this adventure so much. The plants are already beautiful to the naked eye. The way her flowers are developing. It's all coming together. And that's exactly what I hoped we'd see from this project. Not twelve identical plants. Twelve individual stories. Twelve personalities. I could have pushed the plant one week longer but im on a scedule

~MERINGUE by DUTCH PASSION~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This strain by Dutch Passion is one of my all time favorite strains that I've cultivated previously with phenomenal results so I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! I'm going to things a bit different this time around. I have a brand spanking new AC Infinity 4x4 tent and was just given one of HLG's newest lights for 2022, The Blackbird! I've got this 600w monster hooked up to my Trolmaster Hydro X Controller so I've got full control over timing, dimming and Sunrise/Sunset. This beauty is going to annihilate the 4x4 for sure! 😎👍 I'm going to grow her all by herself and veg her for around 70-90 days after witch I'll install a trellis net in the tent and spread her out. Once she's recovered from her 'net training' I'll flip her to 12/12 and hang on! 🤪 It's ALWAYS been a blast for me growing strains from Dutch Passion because their genetics are extremely stable which allow me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth and they REWARD you with some of the most EPIC cultivars you've ever grown! 👍👍👍 ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~STRAIN INFORMATION**~ ~Unique USA genetics~ ~Very sweet aroma and fruity flavors~ ~Compact buds with one of the highest THC levels~ ~Quality of the flowers is top-notch with an amazing bag appeal~ Meringue has a very sweet aroma and fruity flavor Meringue is a hybrid indica/sativa strain with a complex fruity aroma that leans to the tangy side of the spectrum but a bit sweeter. It smells like oranges, mango and honey with some earthy, sour hints. Her aroma profile is also very pungent. Meringue is a connoisseur’s delight Meringue is a high-quality strain. She might not be the biggest overall yielder but the level of quality is definitely a reason to keep growing her again and again. Expect solid yields of stunning looking buds. Although the flowers can be a bit smaller, they are rock-hard and thus will still put down some weight on the scale. When handled well she will deliver you some of the most beautiful looking nuggets on the planet. The dark hues in the flowers and leaves makes the white layer of resin really pop out for an eye-catching bag appeal. Meringue is grown by crossing Wedding Cake x Animal Cookies. Wedding Cake, also known as Pink Cookies, is a USA cross of the famous Girl Scout Cookies and Cherry Pie. These 2 strains make for the intense sweet tangy taste of the variety. It is also noted for its extremely high THC content. Animal Cookies is another popular USA variety which is a child of the legendary GSC line and Fire OG. She is a clone-only variety that flowers in about 9 week and grows very dense and compact buds that can show some dark coloration in the flowers. This strain has a sweet and sour aroma with a strong body-effect that will suit the more experienced smoker. -The genetics used to create Meringue ensure the following characteristics- ~A sweet tangy aroma from the Wedding Cake ~The dense, compact and colored buds from the Animal Cookies ~High potency levels thanks to both the Wedding Cake and Animal Cookies genetics Meringue is top-notch variety with a high cannabinoid profile and an intensely sweet, pungent aroma. ~Meringue Effects~ Meringue is a crossing of 2 popular hybrid USA strains. She leans a bit more to the Indica side which is shown in the shorter flowering time and bud structure. The effect of the variety is quite euphoric with a powerful sense of well being and relaxation. When you smoke more during a short period of time you will be rewarded with a deep body stone which could give a couch-lock experience. Meringue feminized seeds vs Lemon Meringue strain Any fans of the USA Lemon Meringue variety will love the Dutch Passion Meringue. Both varieties share a THC rich high and a connoisseur flavor profile. However feminized seeds of the Dutch Passion Meringue are thought to produce frostier plants and a superior vaping experience. -The growth and flowering time of Meringue- We recommend a veg period of about 4-6 weeks for these feminized seeds. Meringue can have a bit of a slow start while showing some stretch during the latter part of the grow period. On the other hand, she doesn’t stretch a lot during flowering, so she can be a bit challenging to understand. Meringue can have quite an unusual growth pattern with leaves that have elongated stems and which are pointed upwards with some distance to the main stem. This requires the use of certain growing techniques, like leaf tucking, to make sure she receives sufficient light from top to bottom. Meringue stays fairly compact and within 3-4 weeks there is already a lot of resin on the flowers. After 6 weeks of flowering the buds start to show orange pistils, they seem to ripen quite fast. Luckily all plants show amazing resin production, making them very appealing to the eye. The flowering time is about 8 weeks. In combination with the recommended veg phase, it will take around 12-14 weeks from cannabis seed to harvest. The yield of the Meringue Meringue produces XL harvests of top-notch quality cannabis; between 400 and 500 grams per m2 is possible. The buds are really frosty and dense. Our expert advice: Meringue is the perfect strain for professional home growers or licensed producers looking for a variety with the highest possible resin levels. Buds are literally coated in layers of resin. We would recommend to look out for the plants which show the most hybrid leaf and plant structure. These are generally the biggest and best yielding phenotypes. Consider using a UV light during the last few weeks of flowering and notice how the trichome production goes into overdrive. If you’re looking for something truly unique with an amazing bag appeal then please look no further, Meringue is the strain you need! ~More info about Meringue Meringue isn’t the most straightforward plant to grow so she can be a bit challenging to understand. The thing that stands out the most is the slightly unusual growth pattern, therefore more leaf picking is necessary, otherwise the lower buds will not receive enough light. Because of the slightly larger internodal distance, buds don’t have the tendency to become really big, which could make her a bit more interesting for growers with higher humidity levels. There should be enough fresh air around these flowers though, because they become rock-hard. Buds are covered in trichomes, lab results showed all phenotypes were close to and above 20% THC, suited for hardcore smokers. ** Credit to Dutch Passion ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seed was lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which it was transferred to a moist paper towel laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where it stayed until a tap root emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellet that was hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerged from the Jiffy Pellet she was transferred to a 1qt plastic pot. As she grows I'll be moving her into larger pots along the way up until she's in her 10g fabric pot. ~Grown in a 10g fabric pot filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and fed Dutch Pro nutrients throughout the entire grow with de-chlorinated water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8. ~19/5 light cycle for vegetation, then 12/12 to flower with supplemental UVA added during the last weeks of flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~ Supplemental co2 provided throughout vegetation and flower - monitored and controlled by an AutoPilot APC8200 co2 controller. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked the seed for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which it was transferred to a moist paper towel laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉. After 30 hours she had not popped open yet so I soaked another seed for 3 hours and then into a paper towel and onto the heat mat it went. 12/3- This afternoon I checked and the seed had a root that was about 1/4 to 3/8" so at 5 pm I transferred it into a Jiffy Peat Pellet that was hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By the next morning she had her cotyledon leaves opened! 12/5- Well this is Day ONE for the Dutch Passion Meringue! I'll keep her in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see her roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer her gently into her 2qt plastic starter pot to begin growing. 12/7- Today when I checked her, she had roots just starting to emerge from her pellet, so tomorrow I'll transfer her into her 'starter' pot. 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! 09/26/2020 She is almost done, I gave her a little trim most trichomes are milky still some clear I think about a week before she is done. Hope she gets fat!

Things are moving along in flower. Really pleased how these Rainbow Pie girls are really bulking up. They all seem to be praying up to the light and happy. the wedding cake pheno ended up being a real stretcher. She was the shortest plant before flipping into flower.
